Brazil attacker Cunha has arrived from Wolves, while United are reportedly battling Tottenham for Brentford striker Mbeumo. Former England and Red Devils defender Gary Pallister believes the duo's top-flight pedigree is ideal - after Prem newcomers like Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have struggled. Palister told "Manchester United haven't had that threat up front with both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee having their struggles. "Mbeumo and Cunha have already done it in the Premier League and they know exactly what it's all about. "The size of the club might need acclimatising to, but they're ready made for the Premier League. They're well aware of everything that's going to be expected of them... and it's probably just what United need right now to give them a threat." The Gunners and Manchester United are both keen on Sporting Lisbon's Gyokeres. And it's reckoned the Portuguese giants could now be willing to sell the Swede for around £60million, compared to his reported release clause of of nearer £85m. But it's increasingly suggested that Arsenal are focusing more on Sesko. Sky Germany even say the Gunners have opened talks with RB Leipzig over the 22-year-old Slovenian. But Barcelona are amongst the rival clubs linked with the anchorman, who will be 32 on Friday. Partey will be available on a free transfer at the end of June, following five years at the Emirates. The Ghanaian is said to be 'cautious' over extending his stay. One reason could be the expected arrival of Spain star Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. Copy link Copied By Bees 'want £70m for Bryan' Brentford would hold out for £70million for Bryan Mbeumo - as Tottenham and Manchester United continue to circle for the striker. Spurs' reported pursuit of Bees' manager Thomas Frank has wobbled United's position as favourites to land the Cameroonian. Brentford still hope to keep hold of the 25-year-old. And it's thought United have already made two offers, including £50m plus £10m add-ons. But the Bees ideally want at least another £10m. It leaves Man Utd with a major problem as the winger is out of contract in a year's time. The club could be forced into loaning him out while paying a portion of his wages again or look to mutually rip up his contract. A Spurs statement read: 'He's currently up to 358 appearances in all competitions, level with the great Darren Anderton - making him one of only 29 players in history to have played 350 or more games for us. 'With 73 games under his belt in Europe, he's just three off the record for the highest number of European appearances in our history.
