The movement stated: "This brutal aggression on Lebanon confirms the extent of the barbarity of this enemy, its lack of respect for the international community, its laws, and its norms. It also stated that it is an entity that does not heed any sanctions for its crimes in the region." It viewed this attack on the southern suburb as "a step forward from the war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is mired in internal conflicts ravaging him and his government, to open the door to a new conflict that will alleviate the pressure threatening his throne and authority.
