Alicia Keys Officially Launches ‘Hell's Kitchen'-Inspired Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation
The Grammy Award-winning singer and activist announced the launch of her Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation, which was inspired by her Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Hell's Kitchen.

The foundation collaborates with local communities, partnering with community-based organizations 'to foster belonging, educational enrichment and professional pathways for historically underrepresented communities,' according to a release. The organization expanded its reach a fellowship program in partnership with the upcoming national tour of Hell's Kitchen.
'With Kaleidoscope Dreams we are creating something that makes people and communities feel empowered, inspired and engaged. We want people to know that their stories and their voices matter, that we all belong here,' Keys said to The Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive statement. 'Our mission is to expand access to the arts, support creatives and diversify the people at the table. We can create spaces where dreams come true.'
After a successful pilot programming, Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation has appointed also Asad Ali Jafri its first executive director. The organization was founded in 2024 from the 'the energy and impact' of Hell's Kitchen, according to a release, to 'open doors, spark dreams, and create space for joy, both on and off the stage.'
'Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation is rooted in the belief that creativity is a powerful force for connection, healing, and transformation. We're proud to build programs that expand access to the arts and support communities that have long been left out of these opportunities,' Jafri said in a release. 'We're creating spaces where dreams can take root and thrive.'
The foundation's main work can be broken down into four pillars: cultural access, educational enrichment, professional pathways and community engagement. The organization has piloted multiple programs since its launch — the Hell's Kitchen 2024 fellowship, a cultural access program and an educational enrichment pilot — that they say will only grow under Jafri's leadership.

An alarming 15% admitted they'd frame a friend for a crime they didn't commit to get their hands on that kind of cash. 4 The hit series 'Squid Game' pits desperate players in deadly games for money — and nearly half of Americans say they'd sign up in real life for $33 million. New Africa – But Americans do have priorities, with 10 percent saying they would reject the money if they couldn't share it, while 21% value social media access more than a million bucks. More than half would reject the cash if their parents controlled it, and 38% would hesitate if their enemy benefited too. The findings 'reveal more about human psychology than moral decay,' said Nina Mazar, behavioral scientist at Boston University's Questrom School of Business. 'While some people might never compromise their values regardless of the sum, others have thresholds — and the data suggests that as incentives rise, more people admit they'd waver.' But Carnegie Mellon University economics and psychology professor George Loewenstein thinks the issue runs deeper. 4 The survey suggests that when the stakes are high enough, even the most unthinkable choices start to seem tempting. New Africa – When money's tight, people are more willing to stretch their morals to make ends meet, he said. Some might laugh off these survey answers as just hypothetical fun, but Loewenstein warns the truth might be darker. 'Are these responses likely to reflect real behavior? They probably understate the actual fraction of people who would actually do these things if faced with the temptation,' said Loewenstein, who specializes in social and decision sciences. Ben Bradley, a philosophy professor and ethics expert at Syracuse University is worried about the nation's moral compass. 4 A shocking number of Americans say they'd dump their partners without hesitation if it meant walking away with a million-dollar check. New Africa – 'People often think they would act a certain way when confronted with a scenario, but are wrong,' he said. 'Framing a friend for murder is much more disturbing. DJ and producer Diplo says "Go Birds" at Diplo's Run Club 5K in Philadelphia
Three-time Grammy Award winner Diplo might've been born elsewhere, but the Temple University alum claims Philadelphia. On Saturday, Diplo returned "home" as a few thousand runners took part in the Diplo's Run Club 5K, starting and finishing in South Philly's FDR Park. "This is where it all started, I'm from here," Diplo said, referring to the Mad Decent block parties that started in Philadelphia at 12th and Spring Garden streets. "It's where the whole event culture started for me, my first productions were here, my first studio's here, I went to Temple, this is my city." Following the run was a festival including performances from Canadian DJ and producer A-Trak before Diplo took the stage at 10 a.m. "This was our first one and it's also very hot, people don't know what the event is [yet]," Diplo said. "But after this one, we're going to do a bigger one every year. You go to these events, you see the party, the camaraderie, you see the vibes, and you're going to get addicted to it." The next 5K will take place in San Francisco in September, before moving to Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Miami and Phoenix. "Work hard and play hard," Diplo said. "It's great to have an event where you have a little small victory and then enjoy yourself." He then shouted out the Super Bowl Champion Eagles before heading off to take an ice bath: "Go Birds!"

Drake at Co-Op Live: Rapper makes triumphant return to Manchester with career-spanning setlist
It's been six years since he last graced the Manchester stage on his 2019 Assassination Vacation tour but Drake came back with a bang last night (July 25). Kicking off the first of FOUR shows in the city at Co-op Live as part of his Some Special Shows 4 U European tour, the five-time Grammy-award winning and multi-platinum rapper bursts on stage with "Gimme A Hug". Wearing a simple blue shirt and brown jeans and greeted by his thousands of adoring fans, he has an important question for them: "Where my Day Ones at?" "Y'all ready to go? I'm ready to take off!" he shouts, as, on cue, flames shoot up from the stage and he belts out hit track "What Did I Miss?" Headlines is followed by further pyromania as fire cannons go off and Drizzy bounces around the stage and pounds down the runways with enormous energy, not to mention dexterity, as he dances atop the crowd. "I'm just getting started! What do you wanna do? I'm here all night!" he says, launching into Nonstop and No Face. Then, following a raunchy display by female dancers clad in bondage attire, he is joined by fellow Canadian rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR, who he collaborated with on the album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. The pair take it down a notch to perform lover's lament CN Tower, Something About You, and Die Trying, finishing up with the plaintive Come and See Me. Laugh Now, Cry Later is then followed by God's Plan. "Sing it with me, but sing it like you mean it!" he implores the more than up-for-it crowd, of whom there are some 17,000. In My Feelings precedes the rallying cry of Nice For What, as he addresses the ladies in the audience: "This is for all you ladies who got kids, who got your own place and don't need no m**********n' man!" And to delight the ladies in the crowd, even further, he passes right next to a stunned sea of faces as he casually saunters up the steps to the DJ area and serenades the crowd, just inches away from his adoring fans. "Whatever else is going on in your lives tonight, I want you to forget it", he says, before performing Controlla, Hold On We're Going Home and the smash hit One Dance. Then, back in the heart of the crowd, he performs Girls Want Girls, Fancy and Rich Baby Daddy, his tattooed biceps flexing, to the swoons of his lady fans. It's time for a bit of anti-love now though and he gets the crowd on his side: "I want you to think of the worst exes you have, the worst examples you got on your phone, everything they put you through. I want you to take your m************ finger and put it to the sky." "F**k all your exes!" he roars, before belting out You Broke My Heart. The crowd are then treated to a surprise appearance from British rapper Central Cee, who, sporting a green rucksack, could just have come straight from Piccadilly train station. Back to Drake and the irresistibly catchy Nokia is up next, with cries of "Babygirl" echoing across the arena. In fact, there appears barely a single word to a song that the audience don't know. Yebba's Heartbreak makes for a chilled finale as Drake proudly brandishes a pink bra that a fan has thrown onto the stage. "This is a ten out of ten crowd tonight and it's been a while since I got a bra!" he says. "If there's one thing I love in this life, it's some t*****s!" He then leaves the crowd with a deeper message: "I hope you achieve everything you want", he says. "And remember, you don't get that by being a piece of s**" but by being a good person." "I got my mum in the building tonight!" he then reveals, but mum it seems, is staying schtum, as well as invisible, to the disappointment of the fans. '"I got 17,000 people in Birmingham tonight!" he then shouts, to a somewhat confused crowd, before quickly rescuing his faux-pas with a: "Goodnight Manchester!" And a good night it most definitely has been. In true Manchester style, it might have been drizzling outside tonight but both him, and the stage, were on fire.
