Tammy Hembrow breaks silence over Bailey Smith dating rumours

Tammy Hembrow has broken her silence after she was seen having a date with AFL star Bailey Smith last weekend. In typical influencer style, the 31-year-old shared a lip-synching TikTok with a subtle message to the haters, who have criticised the mum-of-three for moving on 'so quickly'. The Saski activewear founder was spotted enjoying a lunch date with Smith at a Gold Coast restaurant on Saturday, two months after she announced her divorce from Love Island 's Matt Zukowski. In the clip, which was posted yesterday and already has over 700k views, Hembrow mouthed the words from a Barbie movie clip that says: 'Don't be f***ing boring. This whole town is so f***ing boring. I don't care,' and rolls her eyes. The message was clear – that Hembrow is just living her best newly-single life and doesn't care about critics who have said she has a 'revolving door' of men, 'can't be alone', and 'needs to have a break' from dating. A lot of criticism was also aimed at the fact that her three kids are 'introduced to a new man every month'. But Hembrow has now made a bold statement by basically saying that she's going to do whatever she feels is right for her and people need to lighten up. It also hints that she might just be having fun with Smith, and it might not be headed towards a serious relationship. What's more of a statement, however, is the fact that she was wearing a vintage Adidas jacket that belongs to Smith, suggesting he gave it to her to have while he jetted back to Melbourne and the two are apart. In paparazzi pics from their date, Smith is even seen holding the jacket – and in one of his old Instagram posts, he's wearing it too. Her loyal followers were loving the cheeky move, with one saying: 'The one thing about Tammy is she'll have a sound ready for any situation she's having in life'. 'I'm obsessed with you,' said another. 'Fire content'. 'God forbid a girl moves on quick,' a third commented. 'Honestly, good for you,' a fourth added. 'This is a great response,' another remarked. Others picked up on the subtle clothing choice. 'Nice jacket,' said one. 'Where's your jacket from?' someone else inquired. As a new photo emerged yesterday of Smith and Hembrow kissing at a table in a restaurant corner, it was clear they weren't trying to be discreet about their date, as onlookers told The Herald Sun they were making out for 'hours'. Zukowski reportedly is devastated by the news, telling the outlet he's shocked and upset that Hembrow moved on so fast. 'I heard about this and it's not a nice feeling,' he said. 'We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don't understand how someone can move on so quickly. It's been 48 days. I'm trying to focus on myself and heal.' Meanwhile, Smith's ex has spoken out, saying she was 'put through the wringer 100 times over' in a past relationship, just days after the photos of Hembrow and Smith surfaced. Melbourne content creator Izzy Armitage dated the Geelong player in 2021 for a few months and recently said on her Hear Me Out podcast that a high-profile ex – who she doesn't name – allegedly cheated on her, with one woman even sending her pictures of the supposed incident. While Armitage has avoided naming her ex explicitly, fans are speculating she may be talking about Smith.

The Temper Trap break long silence with new single after going viral with debut hit Sweet Disposition

Aussie global hitmakers The Temper Trap are back together after a nine-year hiatus with a surprise new song 'Lucky Dimes.' The quartet have been riding high on social media and streaming over the past 18 months with a succession of popular remixes of their 2009 smash 'Sweet Disposition'. The love for that song continues at home with 'Sweet Disposition' landing at No. 11 on Triple J's recent Hottest 100 Australian Songs poll. They also enjoyed a viral moment when TikTok fans resurfaced a track by late rapper Mac Miller which heavily sampled the Temper Trap's hit 'Love Lost' and now has more than 400 million streams. Frontman Dougy Mandagi blamed burnout and a fear of repeating themselves for the band's long break between their 2016 album Thick as Thieves and their return to the singles game with 'Lucky Dimes'. 'There was a little bit of burnout, but for me personally, I think I just couldn't see a path forward at the time where we would do something that would sound fresh and new and exciting,' he said from his London home. 'It just seemed like if we were going to get back in the studio … that we would just come out with more of the same and I didn't want to be in the studio for another 18 months doing Sweet Disposition 2.0. 'I needed to take a break and do other things and soak in more inspiration from life, the world, and different music, and I pursued a side project, a solo project as well, which was fun to do.' Mandagi got the band back together with Jonny Aherne, Toby Dundas and Joseph Greeran two years ago and have been steadily working on new songs as well as returning to festival stages. He said the older, wiser quartet were closer both personally and professionally after the members spent almost a decade pursuing their own creative endeavours and raising their respective children. 'I think the band is in a much better place now, we're closer than we've ever been,' Mandagi said. 'I would dare say that we actually had even more fun writing this record than we did the first record, when we first got together. 'It's cool, we've just been through a lot in life, we all have families now and I guess there's less ego in the room.' The darker-edged 'Lucky Dimes ' has a 90s electronic rock vibe similar to Garbage, who have just announced their return to Australia for the first tour in a decade with the Good Things festival. The band worked with Grammy-nominated Aussie producer Styalz Fuego whose credits include hits with Troye Sivan, Charli XCX and Khalid. 'I'm a 90s child so I was the right age to receive all that good music. So yeah, we're just tapping into stuff we like,' he said. The single is out now with The Temper Trap still confirming plans to return for an Australian tour in early 2026.

Macca's releases ‘adult item' and ‘mystery flavour' shake

One of the world's biggest fast food chains has dropped a menu item specifically designed for adults. Macca's launched the McDonaldland Meal and Shake on Wednesday, which is essentially a Happy Meal designed for adults. Australians can grab either a Quarter Pounder, Big Mac or six-piece Chicken McNuggets in a medium or large. It of course comes with the brand's signature fries. But, just like when the burger giant launched its purple Grimace Shake and the Shamrock Shake, it is the beverage that seems to be getting all the attention. Macca's is keeping tight-lipped on the limited-edition item's exact flavour, but it does contain 'hints of berry, topped with cloudlike dairy whipped cream and pink raspberry sprinkles'. Popular food content creator Ange Eats was one of the first to try it. 'Ooh — that's a really strong blue raspberry taste. It's super thick and creamy. It's really nice, and complemented with the whipped cream and the crumb on top,' he said. 'This is delicious.' Nectro Vlangos, who goes by the name @nectoriouspapi, said he was expecting to say he 'hated it'. 'I actually don't hate it but I don't love it. It reminds me a little of blue raspberry and bubblegum — it's that sort of vibe,' he said. 'It's actually quite refreshing. There's also a lot of vanilla coming through, but you definitely get the taste of whatever that blue thing is.' He said out of the Golden Arches' latest releases — including the McGriddle, the Big Arch and the McWings — the shake was his 'least favourite' but stressed it doesn't taste bad. The McDonaldland Meal was also released in the United States, where people have also been sharing their reviews of the shake. However the colourful drink overseas differs slightly. It didn't have a raspberry crumb on top, like the Australian version, but it appeared to have a raspberry whipped cream on top. Leah, a US-based food content creator, dug into the 'mystery flavour' shake. 'I believe that it's supposed to taste like clouds and volcanoes,' Leah, who goes by @foodwanderer, said. 'It really looks like a sky. I read somewhere that it taste like berries, and it kind of does, but it tastes like cotton candy to me.' The McDonaldland Shake in a large is 2190kj (about 520 cals). In Australia, daily calorie recommendations vary based on individual factors like age, sex, activity level, and body size, but generally, women need between 1600 and 2400 calories per day, while men need between 2000 and 3000 calories. McDonaldland first opened its doors in 1971, allowing fans a peak behind the curtain into the lives of characters such as Ronald McDonald, Hamburglar, Grimace, Mayor McCheese and Fry Friends. It was featured for 20 years in everything from television to games — and now it's back to introduce a whole new generation to its joys. 'Over the past few years, we've seen how much fans love our iconic characters, everyone from Grimace to the Hamburglar. The new kids on the block don't know that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's an entire magical world of McDonaldland filled with characters, places and lore,' said Amanda Nakad, marketing director of menu and brand for McDonald's Australia. 'And so, for the first time in decades, we're excited for fans to rediscover the nostalgic, magical world that started it all. Welcome back to McDonaldland!' In addition to the food, the McDonaldland Meal also features six collectable tins that feature postcards, stickers and more. However, you'll have to be quick, as it is only available while stocks last.
