Bucs receiver carted off in agony after landing on his head in terrifying NFL moment
As they played against the Pittsburgh Steelers, second-year wideout Jalen McMillan ran his route to snag a pass from backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.
McMillan rose up - jumping above Pittsburgh's defense to grab the pass. But, he was hit in mid-air by Steelers cornerback Daryl Porter Jr.
While the receiver held on to the 18-yard catch, he flipped in the air from the force of the hit and landed on his head.
After a few terrifying moments, McMillan was able to walk to the sidelines under his own power.
However, after a few minutes, he was eventually placed on a cart and was shuttled to the Bucs locker room.
Scary moment for Bucs WR Jalen McMillan. Makes a terrific catch but gets hit and lands right on his head.
Thankfully he would jog off on his own power🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/1LhjytmHWM

The team eventually ruled McMillan out for the game with a back injury and was also being checked for a concussion.
He was cleared to fly back to Florida with the rest of the team and was seen in a neck brace. According to ESPN's Jenna Laine, McMillan is set to undergo further testing on Sunday.
McMillan also posted a message to his Instagram story: 'God is amazing. Don't worry yall im str8.'
Last season, McMillan proved to be one of the top rookies in his class after being picked in the second round out of Washington.
He hauled in 37 catches for 461 yards and eight touchdowns across 13 games of action.
The Buccaneers have already had to deal with two major losses due to injury this year on the offense.
All-Pro offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) and star wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) are both expected to miss some time this season.
Tampa Bay plays its final preseason game next Saturday when they host the Buffalo Bills. They will then open the 2025 regular season on the road on September 7 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Friendship on hold as managers vie for Champions League spot
Club Brugge head coach Nicky Hayen says he has a "good connection" with Rangers counterpart Russell Martin. But any friendship is likely to be put on hold during their forthcoming Champions League play-off sides meet at Ibrox on Tuesday night in the first leg with the return the following Wednesday in Belgium."I like Russell very much," Hayen, 45, told BBC Scotland. "I was in Haverfordwest County when he was in Swansea. We met each other because of Gary Richards (his former assistant at Haverfordwest who previously worked at Swansea).""I wanted to visit Swansea for two days. He allowed it. But we never found the right date. The year after, we arranged a friendly game between the two teams. The game was scheduled. Then I left the club to come to Brugge."Hayen revealed the pair exchanged regular text messages, although they actually only met in person for the first time when Brugge played Rangers this summer in a friendly at Ibrox."We spoke a lot," said Hayen. "We texted a lot. We stayed always in touch. But of course, tomorrow this doesn't count."He's a great manager. If you see the results that he got in Swansea and Southampton. It's a nice step for him over here. Of course, there's a lot of pressure. But I'm sure that he will deal with it."Club Brugge beat Salzburg to reach the play-off round. And, after making it to the round of 16 in last season's competition, Hayen is keen to progress to the league phase again this term."The team who is the best in keeping the ball, progressing, use the spaces, they will have a good chance to win the game," added Hayen.

Brutal Morecambe SACK manager just hours after dramatically avoiding extinction
MORECAMBE have sacked manager Derek Adams just hours after avoiding extinction. The club have been in crisis since being relegated from League Two last season. 1 They were saved following the takeover by Panjab Warriors Ltd. And their first act has been to fire Adams, who was a popular figure in the dugout. Adams has spent the past few weeks working for the club without pay. He has had three spells in the dugout at Morecambe and led the club to promotion to League One in 2021 - the highest level the club has ever played at. The club thanked Adams for his contribution in a statement saying they want to move in a different direction. A statement reads: "Morecambe Football Club can confirm that we have parted ways with Derek Adams. "Morecambe Football Club, now proudly backed by Panjab Warriors would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Derek Adams for the leadership and steadiness he brought to the club during a testing chapter for the club. "His return instilled direction and purpose, helping guide Morecambe into League One for the first time in their history and stabilized the team under immense pressure. "As the club enters a new era, a strategic transition in leadership, has been made with respect and appreciation for Derek's services. "We wish Derek Adams every success in his future endeavours." Morecambe have been restored to the National League but their fixtures against Brackley Town and Boston United were postponed. The Shrimps are due to play their first National League game of the season at home against Altrincham FC on August 23. If the 105-year-old Lancs club was not sold by August 20, they faced being kicked out of the league and potentially going extinct altogether.
