UP CM Yogi Adityanath takes part in Agra event on 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar, highlights her contribution
'Maharani was from the Malwa empire, which covered areas in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh... This event is a celebration of the work she did 250 years ago. She worked for the restoration of temples and India's identity and faith, that's why we are celebrating the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata,' CM Adityanath said while addressing the gathering in Agra.
Praising her contributions, he said, 'Whatever Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar did for women empowerment, for artisans, farmers, youth, security and for saving India's heritage is unforgettable... Inspired by this, today, the double-engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is working to take all the programs forward in a systematic manner,' he added.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar was also present at the event.
'Today is a day filled with immense pride and emotion for me. I consider myself blessed to be a witness to this historic occasion. On this occasion, we will have to take inspiration and we will have to take a pledge that we will follow her ideals.'
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Mahila Sashaktikaran Mahasammelan in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects in the city.
Speaking at the event, he began by paying tribute to 'Maa Bharati' and acknowledging the strength of India's women. He expressed gratitude for the large gathering of sisters and daughters who had come to bless the event, stating that he felt honoured by their presence.
Quoting Devi Ahilyabai, he reiterated that true governance means serving the people and improving their lives. He remarked that today's program embodies her vision and carries forward her ideals. The Prime Minister noted the launch of the Indore Metro, along with the addition of air connectivity for Datia and Satna.
Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar is remembered for her people-centric policies, deep commitment to economic and socio-cultural issues, especially those that affected the life of women. She encouraged the education of women and their participation in the social and religious life of the local community. She supported and encouraged women weavers to make Maheshwari sarees.
Her contributions were wide-ranging, from infrastructure development (water bodies, roads, dharamshalas) to reconstruction and revival of temples across the length and breadth of the land. The edifices created by her have not only left an indelible mark on India's cultural and spiritual landscape but also stood the test of time. (ANI)

ECIs Notice To RJDs Tejashwi Yadav: Poll Body Says This EPIC Number Has Not Been Officially Issued

An investigation was conducted in this regard by the District Administration, Patna. It has become clear in this that the name of the Leader of the Opposition is recorded in the draft voter list." The news agency, on Saturday, reported, citing ECI sources, that Tejashwi Yadav's name is there in the Draft Electoral Rolls published as per SIR, and no records have been found for the second EPIC number yet. Furthermore, according to ANI, ECI sources rejected Tejaswi Prasad's allegation that his EPIC number was changed, saying that the RJD leader used the Electoral Roll with EPIC No. RAB0456228 for filling his nomination papers on affidavit in 2020. The sources added that he had this EPIC number in the electoral roll in 2015, and his name with this EPIC number exists in the draft Electoral Rolls. Obama himself acknowledged the elephant in the room during his winning speech, saying, 'I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the considerable controversy that your generous decision has generated. In part, this is because I am at the beginning, and not the end, of my labours on the world stage. Compared to some of the giants of history who've received this prize… my accomplishments are slight.' In Trump's case, he has frequently lamented not being awarded the prize, and world leaders hoping to develop a deeper relationship with the United States have picked up on the concern. Last month, as leaders of five African nations — Gabon, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mauritania and Senegal — met Trump in Washington to discuss a trade deal, they spoke positively about the possibility of a nomination.

BJP's Patra accuses Tejashwi Yadav of spreading misinformation on electoral process
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Sunday accused the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, of spreading misinformation about the electoral process. Speaking at a press conference, BJP's national spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that Tejashwi Yadav had cited an incorrect voter ID number and questioned the integrity of the electoral process (ANI) Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, stirred a row by claiming that his name was missing from the draft electoral rolls published on Friday after a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) by the Election Commission in the poll-bound state. However, the ECI rebutted the claim and termed it 'factually incorrect', while the Opposition leader insisted there was a 'change' in the EPIC number allotted to him. Speaking at a press conference, Patra alleged that Yadav had cited an incorrect voter ID number and questioned the integrity of the electoral process, only for the Election Commission of India (ECI) to later confirm that Yadav remains an enrolled voter with a different and valid EPIC number. But I had got myself photographed while handing over my enumeration forms to her,' he had said. The Election Commission later clarified that his correct and officially registered EPIC number is RAB0456228—the same as what he had used in his 2020 election affidavit. 'In a fraudulent and misleading manner, this is an attack on the constitutional institutions. This is a conspiracy, an attempt to lower the stature of India,' he said.
