The special version 5.6 of Genshin Impact brought a lot of interesting information and one major surprise. Viewers got the first look at Dahlia, a new character. In the Version 5.6 trailer, the presence of a Hydro Vision on Dahlia confirmed that he wields the Hydro element. Dahlia serves as a Deacon in the Church of Favonius, where Barbara and Rosaria also work. Hence, he could have an important role in the storyline and future gameplay.

Fans that have been watching the previous live streams should find Dahlia's silhouette quite familiar. During the Version 5.3 update, outlines of future characters were shown by HoYoverse, and Dahlia perfectly matches one of them.
