Aishwarya Khare's journey in the television industry began with roles in shows like 'Yeh Shaadi Hai Ya Saud' and 'Yeh Hai Chahatein,' but she credits 'Bhagya Lakshmi' for her breakthrough.
She started with shows like Yeh Shaadi Hai Ya Saud, Yeh Hai Chahatein, where she played interesting characters. But Aishwarya Khare says her role in
Bhagya Lakshmi
made all the difference in her career.
Talking about her journey to Mumbai Mirror, she says, 'It took me a long time to reach where I am today. Not that I had to struggle a lot, but I did have to put in a lot of hard work. I made it on my own, and I am happy about that. I didn't know anyone in this industry, and so couldn't turn towards anyone for help.'
Aishwarya began acting while she was still in college. 'There were attendance issues,' she recalls. 'I kept giving auditions.
I did play the lead in shows like Vishkanya Ek Anokhi Prem Kahani and Saam Daam Dand Bhed, but real recognition came with Bhagya Lakshmi. It took me 8 years to bag a lead role that made a difference. The show may have ended now but I am grateful for the opportunity.'
The actress, who is currently seen in the reality show, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, believes in destiny. She recounts, 'There was a time when I was sitting at home.. that was around 2017. That's when self-doubt kicked in. I even thought of going for higher studies. Suddenly I got a call for an audition, and the same production house later also asked me to audition for Bhagya Lakshmi. It was meant to be.'

I wanted to show role reversal between brides and grooms in my music video: Aishwarya

Singer Aishwarya Majmudar whose recent number Nazaara – The Shaadi, is anindependent track, marries the vibrancy of the big fat Indian shaadis with contemporary twist. The Hindi-Punjabi number is aimed at becoming a wedding song for modern brides. In a reversal of roles, the music video shows Aishwarya arriving at the groom's place to surprise him a day before the big ceremony. Contrary to established traditions, the bride is expected to remain coyly behind veils while the groom arrives with pomp. "But in this video it's the bride who owns the moment by dancing, teasing, and demanding a glimpse of her groom behind the sehra. It's a symbolic yet joyful act of flipping the script and reclaiming agency, reflecting the voice of today's bold, confident Indian woman," she says. She adds, 'Weddings are one of the most beautiful celebrations of life. With 'Nazaara – The Shaadi', I wanted to keep the fun and festivity alive, but also challenge the idea that brides have to wait in the background. This bride rides in, makes noise, and celebrates love on her terms — and I think that's something a lot of women will relate to.' Comedy has taken a back seat for now: Vandana Pathak

Vandana Pathak, famed for her comedic roles in shows like Khichdi, returns to television after a six-year break with Tumm Se Tumm Tak. After a six-year hiatus from television, Vandana Pathak is back on the small screen with Tumm Se Tumm Tak. The actress, who became a household name with popular shows like Khichdi and Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, says she was happy to get back to television because she found the role interesting. Talking to Mumbai Mirror about her return, she says, 'My last show was Manmohini in 2019 with the same production house. It was a deliberate break that I took because my father-in-law wasn't well. I was very close to him and wanted to be with him. Unfortunately, he passed away, and after that, I didn't feel like getting back to work immediately.' The break led her towards the regional cinema. 'I got a Gujarati film offer (Golkeri), which did well. I started getting more Gujarati offers, which I took up. People are really enjoying regional content right now.' Known primarily for her comic timing, especially as Jayshree in Khichdi, the actress is now exploring more intense roles. She says, 'I have been offered a lot of comedy roles because of Khichdi, but I want to do something different now. Comedy has taken a back seat. I'm currently focused on other genres.' She adds, 'People still call me Jayshree, and I'm okay with it. That show gave me a lot. Another Khichdi film is in the pipeline. The writers are working on it, and I'm in touch with the cast. Apart from Khichdi, a show that is close to my heart is Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka — nothing like that has been written again.'
