Nepo baby actress destined for the limelight as Hollywood star mum shares proud on-set post - but can you guess who it is?
The young starlet comes from the Hollywood stock with her mother best known for her roles in Freaks and Geeks and Dawson's Creek.
Most recently, her mother has starred in the hit Netflix show Girls5Eva, which follows a 90s girl band who get a second chance at fame after their one-hit-wonder is sampled decades later.
Now, the Hollywood star's offspring has stepped behind the screen herself to act alongside her mother in Horrified, a new indie horror film from Mike Zara.
The mother shared a proud clip of her daughter filming on set, which she captioned: 'Apparently I've now completed the transformation into what is probably my truest form: STAGE MOTHER✨☠️ thank you to my dear friend @zarastoriez & @horrifiedmovie for helping me to achieve this eventuality, featuring @whosalexanyway ❤️.'
But can YOU guess who the nepo baby, and her famous mother, really are?
It's none other than White Chicks star Busy Philipps, 46, and her daughter Birdy Leigh Silverstein, 16.
The pair will star together in the upcoming film Horrified, on which Busy is also an executive producer and is due to shoot this summer.
Tom Cruise's ex-wife Katie Holmes - who starred alongside Busy in Dawson's Creek - shared a rare social media comment to mark Birdy's first gig, writing: 'Amazing! Congratulations!!!!!!!'
The White Chicks star shares Birdie with with ex-husband, screenwriter Marc Silverstein and they also have a 10-year-old daughter Cricket.
The exes still live together so they can share parenting duties.
Staying candid about how she worked through it all, the Freaks And Geeks star added: 'It's a constant process. Parenting is constantly learning, and I think one thing that I try to return to is that I'm not going to nail it every time.'
'Birdie's such a strong individual,' she added of the teen. 'She's such a smart, unique person that I feel really confident in her ability to succeed in whatever situation she's in,' she added.
Explaining that she knew her daughter wouldn't stay at boarding school if she felt like it wasn't a good fit, Busy added, 'If it turns out this is not the situation for her, and I'm not saying that will be the case, so be it.'
In spite of the fact that the two are no longer a couple, the Girls5Eva starlet had nothing but kind words to say about Marc's parenting skills, particularly with Birdie's impending move.
While she was initially gung-ho against the idea of her eldest daughter going to boarding school, Marc had a more 'thoughtful' response to Birdie's wishes.
'He was like, 'Listen, why don't we hear this kid out? Why don't we see it through and go look at the school, talk to them and see where it takes us?'' the blonde television star recounted of her supportive ex.
Ultimately, Busy told the outlet that the plan is to have Birdie spend all four years of high school at boarding school, but the Cougar Town star made sure to note, 'I'm also open to this if it's just a year. That would be an amazing experience for her to have either way.'
In spite of her normal misgivings as a parent letting go of a child for the first time, Busy realised that the pandemic had been challenging on both Birdie and Cricket.
'These kids have been through a really intense few years with the pandemic and essentially being stuck in the house with their parents,' she joked.
So, the ER actress concluded, 'Maybe it's not a bad thing for Birdie to go live with some other kids and have that socialisation that maybe was missed out on a bit during the pandemic.'
Reflecting that she hasn't always been the epitome of parental perfection, the Love, Inc star said, 'I have a tendency to be really hard on myself, so continually reminding myself, that no one's a perfect parent and no one wants you to be a perfect parent.'
Wisely, Busy assessed that, 'I think kids would be really boring if they all had perfect parents.'
In 2022, Busy publicly revealed her 14 year marriage to Marc was over on her podcast Busy Philipps Is Doing Her Best. She said at the time: 'It's been a really long time that Marc and I have been separated and our kids know, our families know, our friends know.'
The couple first separated in February 2021 and had been contemplating how to announce the break-up. She added: 'Marc and I talked about it, and when we first separated, we couldn't even think about putting one of those statements out – it made us sick, both of us, truly ill. It's a journey.
'The surest way that Marc and I have been able to ensure the privacy of our kids that we love so f****** much was by not involving the public.'
The pair were married in June 2007 in a ceremony that surprised their friends and family.

United Airlines flight canceled after female passenger had 'biohazard' diarrhea that destroyed bathroom
A woman has freely admitted that she caused a United Airlines flight to be canceled after spending an hour and a half destroying the plane's tiny bathroom with her diarrhea and vomit. Meghan Reinertsen, a writer and actor, said the nightmare journey happened about a year ago when she was coming home from Portugal. The first symptoms of what she would later find out was food poisoning struck her at Newark Liberty International Airport just moments before she was supposed to board her connecting flight back to Indianapolis. 'Something is brewing. Something is happening that I am not prepared to deal with,' she said in a TikTok video that has gotten nearly 20 million views. Despite her reservations, she boarded the plane and 'hoped for the best'. She spent the next 30 minutes in her window seat crying, sweating profusely and writhing in abject pain. The plane eventually took off. For much of that time, she was only staying seated because the seatbelt sign was on, but at some point, she remembered the story of the woman on a Delta plane who pooped her pants in her seat mid-flight. 'I couldn't let that happen to me,' she said. 'I make it to the bathroom, and for the next 20 minutes I have more diarrhea than any human should ever have in their life.' While she was in the bathroom, she began feeling the urge to throw up as well. She said she panicked in the tiny, claustrophobic area before she had the presence of mind to scream for help from the flight attendants, who gave her bags. The flight crew allowed her to stay in the bathroom for the entire flight. They even got special clearance from the pilot to allow her to remain where she was for landing. Reinertsen said she couldn't make it back to her seat in her condition, which prompted the flight attendant to tell her through the door to 'brace for impact'. Once they were on the ground, she was told that the next flight with that plane had been canceled. 'A flight attendant comes over and says, "Everybody's off the plane now, go ahead and take your time and come out when you can, the next flight has been cancelled,"' Reinertsen said. 'In the moment, I'm not thinking it is because of me.' The flight attendant then told her that a hazmat team would be coming to clean up her mess. 'Got it, so you canceled that flight because of you don't know if I brought something back from Portugal. And I am a biohazard. I am patient zero,' she said. She even had to be put in a wheelchair when she was ready to disembark because she couldn't walk. 'They had to wheel me off this plane. I can't walk. They gotta get me in a wheelchair,' she said. They wheeled her to baggage claim where she had to endure the shocked stares of all her fellow passengers who undoubtedly knew she was the woman in the bathroom for the entire flight. Reinertsen said her devastating illness, which persisted days after the horrific flight, came as a result of eating an undercooked hamburger the night before her flight. United Airlines confirmed to Metro that this incident happened in July 2024. 'This incident occurred in July 2024. Our flight crew is trained to assist customers in situations like this and helped as much as they could during the flight and upon arrival in Indianapolis,' a spokesperson for the airline said in a statement.

Pierce Brosnan left choking as Helen Mirren's too busy enjoying her salsa to care in viral clip
Pierce Brosnan got zero sympathy from friend and co-star Helen Mirren during a fiery taste test on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The 72-year-old James Bond icon found himself gasping for air after bravely biting into Fallon's homemade jalapeño salsa on Monday's episode — while the 80-year-old Oscar winner happily kept devouring her own serving with hilarious disregard. The spicy showdown kicked off when Fallon urged the stars, who are promoting their new film The Thursday Murder Club, to try his fresh-from-the-desk salsa creation. After Mirren declared it 'fabulous,' Brosnan dove in — only to be immediately overwhelmed by the heat, coughing and choking as he admitted, 'I don't do spicy.' Fallon quickly yelled, 'He's choking!' but Mirren just shot a knowing glance, saw he was fine, and carried on wiping the bowl clean with her tortilla chip. Meanwhile, Pierce hilariously managed to sputter, 'Carry on!' The Thursday Murder Club centers on a witty group of retirees who spend their days in a peaceful retirement community—bonding over their shared hobby of solving cold cases. But their quiet pastime takes a thrilling turn when they stumble upon a fresh murder mystery that demands their attention. Mirren leads the cast as Elizabeth, a sharp ex-spy with a knack for uncovering secrets. Brosnan plays Ron, a former union activist with a passionate spirit, while Ben Kingsley portrays Ibrahim, an insightful ex-psychiatrist. Celia Imrie rounds out the group as Joyce, a compassionate ex-nurse who balances the team. The film is based on the bestselling novel by Richard Osman. It is directed by Chris Columbus, known for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, with a screenplay penned by Katy Brand and Suzanne Heathcote. Osman wrote the book in secret over 18 months, sparking a fierce 10-way bidding war before Penguin Random House secured the rights for a seven-figure deal in 2019. Upon its 2020 release, The Thursday Murder Club became the only novel that year to sell over one million copies, ranking as the third best-selling hardback behind Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol and JK Rowling's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The success led to three sequels: The Man Who Died Twice (2021), The Bullet That Missed (2022), and The Last Devil to Die (2023). A fifth installment is already planned for publication next year. With a star-studded cast and sharp wit, The Thursday Murder Club promises laughs and intrigue—especially after Brosnan's hilarious salsa-choking moment alongside MIrren. If the film's as entertaining as that interview, audiences are in for a real treat.
