Jack Grealish needs regular football for World Cup consideration
The 29-year-old has found minutes hard to come by at the Etihad Stadium this season and been overlooked for both squads since the German coach took charge.
Tuchel said he loved Grealish's personality, courage and quality after leaving him out in March due to a lack of game-time, with the attacking midfielder making just six City appearances since then.
City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to leave the former Aston Villa player out of his Club World Cup squad and a summer exit appears on the cards.
England boss Tuchel said: 'My thoughts are still the same. I love Jack for his personality and of course his talent.
'He is a very unique player who can handle big pressure on the field. He is never shy of pressure. It's the opposite.
'He grows in big matches but he's a player who needs minutes and minutes and minutes and simply does not get them for a very long time. That's basically everything. Nothing has changed.
'I have maybe the same information as you that City are thinking of not taking him to the Club World Cup, so he needs to make himself available by playing. I think it's one of his key strengths.
'To go every three days and get better and better with every minute that he has in his legs – that's what is missing, nothing else.
'I have spoken to him after the first international camp and very shortly after the FA Cup final but not since then.'

There are no City players in England's squad for June's double-header, but nine of the group are heading to the Club World Cup.
Tuchel said he was not overthinking that aspect and, just like he did at the squad announcement, stressed that international matters took precedence.
Asked if clubs had requested players did not feature in both Saturday's qualifier against Andorra and the Senegal friendly on Tuesday, he said: 'No one has asked me that question.
'I said also many times, I was like 15 years I think in club football, I think I have never asked an international coach what to do and how to use the players.
"It was a good opportunity to change the environment."

'We have very limited time for ourselves. We have our very own interest also to see a lot of the players that are in camp and maybe even all of the players that are in camp, so we have an own interest to mix the teams.
'But no coach has called me and there was no request from the FA that a club called.
'We know the clubs have a lot of matches and the players go after to the Club World Cup.
'But it can also happen that some players start twice for us, but like I said, we also have an interest to see a lot of players in these two matches, so I think we will not in the end upset anyone.'
Another player heading to the Club World Cup is Liam Delap, who is going there with new club Chelsea rather than leading the line for England Under-21s at the Euros.
'It would have been nice for him and for the FA for him to play a big tournament, but that's nowadays football,' said Tuchel, who may not risk Bukayo Saka against Andorra as he recovers from a knock.
'There are some rules and its club first. It would have been nice to do the 21s and would have been nice to see him lead the under-21s as the main striker.'

Club World Cup will feature FIVE new 'trailblazing' rules as Chelsea and Man City gear up for $1bn tournament
The Club World Cup will feature five new rule changes as well as a brand new format when it begins next week. The new tournament kicks off in the United States on Sunday June 15, with Al Ahly taking on Inter Miami in the tournament's opening match. In total, 32 teams will take part from all over the globe, including Manchester City and Chelsea from England as well as the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich. Previous iterations of the competition have included just seven teams, with Manchester City winning the last tournament in 2023. But this year's competition has an enormous prize fund of £777m ($1bn), to be split among the teams. The Club World Cup has typically been viewed as a minor affair for European clubs and fans, but FIFA wants it to be 'the football event of the year'. As well as the new format, the competition is also going to feature a host of 'trailblazing' rule changes, which FIFA claim will 'improve football. The most significant innovation is that referees will wear body cameras, allowing fans to see closer into their decision making process. The footage will used during live match broadcasts on DAZN, who agreed a $1billion (£787m) deal with FIFA for rights to the tournament. The new camera angle will be trialled to see if it can improve the viewing experience for fans at home, while FIFA will use the experiment to create guidelines for its possible use in other competitions. Fans at the game will finally be able to watch footage from the VAR monitor inside the stadium, and it will be displayed live on giant screens to 'enhance transparency'. Advanced semi-automated offside technology will also be used as referees seek to make quicker decisions throughout the match. The Club World Cup will also see an increased use of artificial intelligence-driven data, while substitution tablets will be used and will replace the traditional manual process Pierluigi Collina, the chairman of the FIFA Referees Committee, said that the referees taking part in the tournament will be 'making history'. The new Club World Cup format has received criticism from players and FIFA is currently facing legal action surrounding the tournament's scheduling. Players' union Fifpro says the footballing calendar is too busy and 'risks player safety and wellbeing'. Manuel Akanji, currently in the US on Switzerland duty for their upcoming pair of friendlies, has candidly spoken out against the fixture congestion. The Manchester City defender said: 'I have been a strong critic of this competition for some time now. We players would love to have some holidays, and some time for our bodies to rest.' My City teammates are not exactly overjoyed about the tournament either. But it's now right in our faces, and there is nothing we can do about it. 'If we take part, then of course we want to win it. But if we reach the final, then the time period for us to recover ahead of the new season will become even shorter.'

It is a game the Three Lions are expected to win comfortably but that has not stopped scrutiny over Tuchel's choices in his third match in charge. The former Chelsea boss has stunned many with his continued faith in Ajax midfielder Jordan Henderson, 34, in addition with some interesting choices across the pitch. Fans were required to get out their pen and paper to figure out what the German coach was plotting. Tuchel was without Atletico Madrid star Conor Gallagher and Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins, while Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka was judged not fit enough to feature. Watkins was judged injured enough to depart the squad for his recovery. More mysteriously, Tuchel's decision appears to see Curtis Jones on the right side of England's backline, and Reece James on the left as Dan Burn and Ezri Konsa make up the central partnership. "I think it's a test of our patience. Andorra played against Spain and it was 1-0 at half-time with a set-piece". Fans weren't convinced he would meet his ambitions however. One social media user said: "Possibly the worst England team I've seen in recent times. "It's so bad it's actually funny. If anybody watched Spain v France in midweek this England team is a million miles from that." "Why not just drop Henderson for Lewis-Skelly, move James to his natural place at RB and move Jones into Henderson's place! Playing a RB at LB and a CM at RB is beyond bizarre," said another. "A truly attacking team has Jordan Henderson nowhere near it," said one supporter. "It's 2025 and Jordan Henderson is starting for England..." added further fan Henderson however, declared himself ready to contribute. "It means I am ready to play," he told ITV on his selection. "It is nice to be in the starting XI, but I want to help the team perform as best we can and do the job, really. I think it is just making sure we continue with the ball all the time. When we lose the ball high up the pitch, move it quickly. It is about the overall performance with and without the ball, and we should try to take some risks in the final third."
