TVs continue to get thinner and lighter, and just when you think a chassis can't get more impressive, brands like Hisense introduce a model like the S7 Series CanvasTV. Designed to look like a piece of fine art hanging from your living room wall or sitting atop a TV stand, this signature Hisense QLED is a major competitor to Samsung's The Frame lineup of QLED TVs and TCL's NXTFrame QLED TVs.
And right now, when you purchase the Hisense 65-inch Class S7 Series CanvasTV through Amazon or Best Buy, you'll only pay $900. At full price, the 65-inch CanvasTV sells for $1,300. It's one of the best TV deals of the week, so don't miss out!

The primary calling card of TVs like the Hisense CanvasTV is the boutique shell. At first glance, this 4K QLED may look like any other LED on the market, but when you're done watching a movie and power down, the Hisense can display digitized artwork. Using Hisense's Art Mode, you'll be able to choose from a range of single images or set up a slideshow. You can even connect a USB drive to showcase your own photos or upload them via Hisense's Art Mode app.
Features like the hi-matte display go a long way in protecting the CanvasTV from glare and providing extra texture and depth when viewing artwork. The TV comes with an Ultra-Slim Wall Mount, too, so you'll be able to mount it flush to the wall as you would a new museum exhibit. When it comes time to watch movies or play video games, the onboard 2.0.2 speakers do a nice job of filling small to medium-sized rooms with sound. And thanks to features like VRR and ALLM support, the Hisense CanvasTV is a great choice for gamers.
This time around, Hisense opted to go with Google TV for apps, casting, and built-in smart home controls. Access popular services like Netflix and Disney+ or cast audio and video to your TV from a compatible phone or tablet. We're not sure how long this discount is going to stick around, which also means today might be the last day to save.
Take $400 off the Hisense 65-inch S7 Series CanvasTV when you purchase today. We also recommend checking out our lists of the best QLED TV deals and the best 65-inch TV deals.

You might think your Switch 2 pre-order is safe. It might not be
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5, and it's been a roller coaster of emotions for gamers. When the Switch follow-up was revealed on April 2, there were some concerns over the console's $450 price tag as well as the $80 price tag for Mario Kart World. Those concerns were quickly overshadowed when Nintendo announced a delay in preordering in the U.S. due to tariffs announced by President Donald Trump on the same day. Nintendo did open pre-orders, and they quickly sold out. However, those retailers are now letting some customers know that Switch 2 consoles are not coming for them. On the Switch 2 subreddit, thread after thread has appeared of individuals receiving notices from Walmart that their pre-orders have been canceled. There were other threads involving Target and Best Buy orders as well. Walmart order cancelled from r/switch2 Pre-order On June 5, select Best Buy stores in the U.S. will open at 12 a.m. ET for pre-order pickup. I recommend using Best Buy's store locator to find the closest location near you. You may sign up here to get notifications from Best Buy about all things Nintendo Switch 2. Key specs: 7.9-inch 1080p LCD touch screen, HDR support, up to 120 fps, TV dock supports 4K, GameChat, 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD Express Deal A post dated May 31 claims a Walmart pre-order was canceled and more cancellations were coming. "Ended up as one of the fallen," the poster said. "Called immediately they said they're canceling a ton of orders until the July restock." Walmart did confirm there were cancellations of orders, but the company says it was not inventory-related. 'We have identified a very small group of customers whose orders were unfortunately affected by a system error," a Walmart spokesperson said via email. "We recognize how exciting this new product launch is and are working to ensure these customers are taken care of.' For other Reddit users who posted notices of their canceled orders, it appears there might be a different reason behind it. In many cases, the individuals confirmed there were issues with payment authorizations. Retailers have been sending emails confirming Switch 2 pre-orders over the past week, and with those confirmations, they are also charging the credit cards used for the original April orders. If there are any issues preventing a charge from being authorized, the result is a cancellation of the preorder. U.K. gamers experienced a similar concern over pre-orders. Game posted a notice on May 29 that it was canceling orders. "We understand how disappointing this is, especially for those who have been eagerly awaiting their order," the retailer said in its statement. "If your order was impacted, please know that we're doing everything we can and will be in touch with further updates and next steps." While retailers like Best Buy and Walmart are selling their Switch 2 units via pre-orders, other stores will have some consoles in stock on June 5. GameStop, Target, Costco, and Staples confirmed they will have Switch 2 consoles at some of their stores. How many will be available is the big question, but it's likely that those wanting to buy a Switch 2 will head to the stores early. The Nintendo Switch 2 has an Xbox-shaped problem, and we just got our first look at it Switch 2 is almost here, but a recent Switch update caused problems—here's how Nintendo responded If you preordered a Switch 2 you might want to buy a new Pro controller ASAP

Amazon's latest big bet may flop
Science does not understand consciousness; this is an unsolved problem. Consciousness is possible with little to no intelligence, but there is no such thing as intelligence without consciousness. If you don't understand something, can you recreate it? I don't think it is likely to happen. How many neurons does an ant have? According to the University of Arizona News, a desert-harvesting ant species has about 90,000 or so brain cells. How did this question make you feel? Did it make you angry, surprised, or curious? Normally, if we are not under pressure, and there will be no negative outcome, if we are asked something we can't answer, there is no negative emotional reaction to it. Related: Veteran fund manager reboots Palantir stock price target If you are told something incorrect and genuinely understand the truth, you will not react angrily. Let's say someone tells you that the sky is brown. You might get worried about that person's health or question their intentions, but you shouldn't get angry. If a person's belief is questioned, we can expect an adverse reaction, especially if the belief is important and the argument against it is convincing. Sometimes we mix up what we know and think we know, but it is still a belief we have. When I first heard of Amazon's (AMZN) "Just Walk Out" system, I immediately saw the scene from a Silicon Valley TV show in which Jared hired a "click farm" in India to generate fake user activity for his company's website. I was convinced this Amazon system was a huge number of Indians doing the work and not an "AI." It turned out I was right. A lot of companies have been put into a tough spot by the tariff war. Amazon is no exception, and CEO Andy Jassy tried to explain how he plans to handle the situation during the company's first-quarter earnings call. "It's hard to tell what's going to happen with tariffs right now. It's hard to tell where they're going to settle and when they're going to settle. And so, a lot of what we're thinking about short and medium term actually turns out to be what we think about long-term too, which is, how do we actually have the broadest possible selection for customers at the lowest possible prices?" stated Jassy. Related: Samsung Galaxy phones add creepy AI feature It seems that the real answer is to create savings in Amazon's logistics. The company recently introduced a Vulcan robot, which, from what I've seen, is an advanced packing machine. Amazon calls it a robot because it sounds so much cooler. It is a good machine, and it probably saves the company a lot of money. After all, it can work for 20 hours straight without stopping. But it is not a robot replacing humans. It is a machine that helps them waste less time. Recently, an AI tech startup, Builder AI, backed by Microsoft, went bankrupt. They were building an AI platform that would make creating applications as "easy as ordering pizza". Even if you are not familiar with the story, you should be able to figure out where I am going with this. Real people were writing the code, not AI. This is what happens when companies start believing their marketing, and even the big ones are not immune to it. More Retail: Huge retail chain closing more stores soon (locations revealed)Struggling drugstore chain announces second bankruptcyBeloved discount grocery chain has massive US plans Amazon seems to be set in the direction of repeating the mistake of "Just Walk Out" deception. This time, it's betting it will make huge savings on logistics. Unconfirmed media reports suggest that Amazon is developing software for humanoid robots that could eventually be used in its delivery operations. According to the reports, Amazon is creating a "humanoid park" closed-course environment to test the humanoid robots before testing them on real streets. Based on this information, Morgan Stanley analyst Brian Nowak gave us his opinion. Related: Nvidia, Dell announce major project to reshape AI The analyst previously estimated that Amazon is working on automating its fulfillment costs (approximately 18.6% of retail revenue) and that every 10% of US units that go through new robotics-enabled warehouses can drive between $2 billion and $3 billion of annual savings in 2030. "New headlines support our previous views that Amazon is also taking steps to automate its shipping and last-mile logistics (which also make up 17.5% of retail revenue). The potential timing of these humanoids may admittedly be further out, but when we combine this with autonomous long-haul and last mile trucking, and drones, we see a path over the next 5-10 years where Amazon is set to be able to deliver more items to more people faster and in a more cash flow generative manner," said Nowak and his team. "This should enable AMZN to invest in price and technology to drive further share gains, while also delivering more free cash flow for shareholders." Morgan Stanley analysts maintained Amazon's overweight rating, with a price target of $250. I expect that if the "robots" launch, humans will remotely control them. Whether or not this leads to actual savings is another thing.
