She uses a rotating lineup of Ice-type Pokémon. If you're lucky, Shadow Amaura will be in the first phase of the battle. Bring Fire-types like Mega Blaziken, Shadow Charizard, or Reshiram to breeze through her team.
3. Catch Time
After beating her, you'll get a reward encounter. There's a 1 in 3 chance it'll be Shadow Amaura — the other options are Shadow Snorunt and Shadow Sneasel.

Can Shadow Amaura Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?
Unfortunately, no. Shadow Amaura cannot be shiny at launch.
