Well, he is a billionaire now because of his investment in crypto and his own meme coin. Host Jim Niedelman brings back Porter McNeil and Steve Grubbs to discuss.
'This whole crypto move by the President has Republicans on both sides. I think a lot of Republicans are a little bit uncomfortable with some of the self interest,' Grubbs said.
'This economy and this market is important, and it's good that the U.S. wants to be a leader in it,' McNeil said.

Nvidia and AMD to pay 15% of China chip sales revenues to the U.S. government, FT reports
Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices have agreed to give the U.S. government a share of revenues from certain chips sold in China, the Financial Times reported, in an unprecedented arrangement with the White House. Tammy Bruce, State Department spokesperson, tapped for UN role
President Donald Trump on Saturday announced that he was nominating State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce to serve as deputy representative to the United Nations. 'I am pleased to announce that I am nominating Tammy Bruce, a Great Patriot, Television Personality, and Bestselling Author, as our next Deputy Representative of the United States to the United Nations, with the rank of Ambassador,' Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social, adding that Bruce has been 'serving with distinction' in her current role as State Department spokesperson and 'will represent our Country brilliantly at the United Nations." Bruce has been one of the State Department's most public figures in the first six months of Trump's second term, helming regular press briefings on the administration's foreign policy. Her nomination comes at a time when the United States does not have a permanent leader at the United Nations; Mike Waltz — who briefly served as Trump's national security adviser — had his confirmation hearing to be the U.N. ambassador last month, but the full Senate has yet to vote on his nomination. Trump initially tapped Bruce, a former Fox News contributor, for the State Department role in January, adding to his lengthy list of administration picks from the conservative network. Bruce had been a longtime Democrat and self-described liberal activist before making a hard pivot into conservative politics and eventually supporting Trump's MAGA cause. The position of deputy representative to the U.N. is Senate-confirmed, setting up the former spokesperson to come under lawmakers' scrutiny. Intel CEO to visit White House on Monday, WSJ reports
(Reuters) -Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan is set to visit the White House on Monday after U.S. President Donald Trump called for his removal last week, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter. Reuters could not immediately confirm the report. Intel and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Tan is expected to have a extensive conversation with Trump while looking to explain his personal and professional background, the report said, adding that he could propose ways Intel and the U.S. government could work together, the report added. Tan hopes to win Trump's approval by showing his commitment to the U.S. and guaranteeing the importance of keeping Intel's manufacturing capabilities as a national security issue, the report added. Last week, Trump demanded the immediate resignation of Tan, calling him "highly conflicted" due to his ties to Chinese firms and raising doubts about plans to turn around the struggling American chip icon.
