BREAKING: Wydad set to sack Rulani Mokwena!
Wydad are set to announce the departure of Rulani Mokwena in the next few hours following a meeting which took place between him and the club's president.
According to WydadTime , Mokwena was called to president Hicham Ait Menna's president where a decision to release him was reached.
This comes on the back of Wydad's SIXTH successive draw in the Botola Pro 1 against Olympic Safi on Wednesday.
After the game, Mokwena said it was up to the Wydad president to decide his fate, adding that he had already made it clear that he's leaving at the end of the season.
Now, it seems the club has had enough, and decided that Mokwena is not the right person to finish the season with them.
As things stand, Wydad are placed third on the log, five points behind second-placed AS FAR Rabat with three more games to play.
And Mokwena's dream of helping Wydad qualify for next season's CAF Champions League appears gloomy. Rulani Mokwena will officially leave Wydad Casablanca. Image: X/@WACofficiel
'Rulani Mlungisi Mokwena is gone. The South African coach is leaving the club after reaching an amicable agreement with president Hicham Ait Menna,' reads the report.

Sipho Mbule's agent confirms offer to Kaizer Chiefs
Sipho Mbule's name is once again making headlines, this time as his agent, Mike Makaab, confirms that the 27-year-old midfielder has officially been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. Speaking on X (formerly Twitter), Makaab reversed an earlier stance taken in a FARPost article, where he had dismissed reports linking Mbule with a surprise move to Naturena ahead of the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season. In a sharp clarification, Makaab stated: 'Let me set the record straight. Sipho Mbule has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It is up to the club(Kaizer Chiefs) to make the decision and we need to respect that decision.' Mbule's time at Mamelodi Sundowns has come to a premature end. Although his contract technically runs until 30 June 2025, the club decided not to activate a two-year extension clause. According to reports, ongoing concerns about his conduct away from the pitch influenced that decision. Signed in 2022 from SuperSport United, Mbule was once seen as a marquee acquisition for the Brazilians. However, his performances never quite lived up to the hype during his underwhelming stint at Chloorkop. In a bid to rediscover his form, Mbule joined Sekhukhune United on a season-long loan. Under coach Lehlohonolo Seema, he showed early promise, scoring twice and assisting three times in 17 appearances across all competitions. But his return to form was short-lived. Reports emerged that Mbule arrived at training under the influence of alcohol, reigniting the same concerns that plagued his time at Sundowns. Mbule's exit has sparked widespread discussion on social media and among Kaizer Chiefs supporters. Some fans see him as a creative spark the club desperately needs, while others warn that his off-field track record makes him too much of a gamble. Now, with his agent confirming that the ball is in Chiefs' court, the club faces a pivotal decision. Will Kaizer Chiefs take a chance on Sipho Mbule?
