Cardiff fear for 'pretty serious' Tanner injury
The 23-year-old, who has only recently signed a new four-year contract, collided with an advertising board just before half-time and had to be carried off .
"It was an ankle injury, it didn't look a good incident and it's not an insignificant injury, it looks pretty serious," said Cardiff manager Brian Barry-Murphy.
"We'll scan it tomorrow [Wednesday] and reassess from there, but he's on crutches at the moment and will be going to hospital."
Tanner was hurt trying to prevent the ball going out for a goal kick.
"In this moment he'll regret going for the ball but that's the natural instincts of a player of his qualities to go for the ball and never give up on it," Barry-Murphy added.
"There's no point looking back, from this moment onwards we'll look forward to help Ollie in every way we can, and make sure he has a speedy recovery to get back as soon as possible."
Cardiff's win, which continued their unbeaten start under new boss Barry-Murphy, came late courtesy of Isaak Davies' 92nd-minute winner and kept Cardiff second in League One as they chase an immediate return to the Championship.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Will Howard suffered a fractured small bone in his right hand on August 5. The injury has limited his participation in training camp and kept him out of team drills for the preseason, joint practice, and into the home stretch before the final roster cutdowns. 'It does suck,' Howard told the media on August 12. 'As much as I'm trying to be a good teammate to pump my brothers up, I'm trying as hard as I can to not be bugged by this a ton. The competitor in me would tear my left arm off if I could go back in there.' With Howard sidelined and Mike Tomlin confirming that Aaron Rodgers won't play, Mason Rudolph is in line to make his third start of the preseason against the Panthers. The Steelers could opt to put Howard on IR if he isn't ready to go come the season opener on September 7. Skylar Thompson completed 20/28 passes for 233 yards and three touchdowns against Jacksonville two weeks ago, but followed it up with a more pedestrian performance facing Tampa Bay. Thompson threw for 115 yards, no scores, and one interception as all three Steelers QBs threw a pick. Howard led the Big Ten in completion percentage (73%) and touchdowns (35) as a senior at Ohio State and guided the program to a national championship victory in Atlanta over Notre Dame.

Noel Gallagher has given his inaugural interview since the commencement of the Oasis reunion tour, lauding his brother Liam for "smashing it" while confessing that his own legs "turned to jelly" on the opening night. He remained tight-lipped when questioned about the likelihood of the band performing at Knebworth next year, a milestone concert that many fans are eagerly anticipating and now hope might be possible. The 58 year old guitarist and Oasis songwriter chatted with his mates Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent on TalkSport about his favourite football team, Manchester City, before the conversation shifted to the monumental tour. Reflecting on the first night in Cardiff, the band's initial gig in nearly two decades, he added: "We're not really a band who kind of have huddles before we go on or anything like that.", reports the Mirror. "I can't speak for anywhere else, but for me personally, I grossly underestimated what I was getting into. After about five minutes I was like can I just go back to the dressing room and start this again. "I don't mind telling you my legs went to jelly about halfway through the second song and I could have done with going back. It has been an amazing thing." The duo have made a habit of walking out hand-in-hand for every show in Dublin, Edinburgh, London, their hometown of Wembley, and the opening weekend in Cardiff. Speaking about their on-stage embraces, he said: "We are not those kinda guys. It is great just to be back with Bonehead and Liam and just be doing it again. I guess when it is all said and done we will reflect on it. It's good being back in the band with Liam, I forgot how funny he was!". Commenting on Liam's universally praised vocals, he said: "Liam is smashing it, I am proud of him. Having fronted a band for 16 years I know how hard that is. I couldn't do the stadium thing like he does, I have gotta say man I look at him and think 'good for you mate'." When asked about Knebworth or the end of the tour, Noel responded with a chuckle: "Lets talk about football." He discussed Manchester City's recent victory and expressed his excitement for Oasis' upcoming performance at the River Plate stadium in Argentina this November. He added: "It's the penultimate show, and we've played there a few times before. Without a doubt, Argentina is one of our top five favourite places to perform worldwide. "We are going to Toronto on Friday and then we're in the States for the best part of a month and then Mexico and then back for two more Wembleys. "When it all started there were a few people who I thought would come looking for tickets but after the first gig my phone exploded. Once they had seen it online there was a mad scramble for it." He confessed it was extraordinary to witness countless supporters outside the venues singing along to the performances and remarked: "Something else is happening that we haven't put our fingers on yet." Oasis are touring for the first time in 16 years and have now finished their UK and Ireland dates apart from two additional Wembley performances when they return from America. Tickets became available last year and triggered extraordinary demand. The concerts, which kicked off in Cardiff on July 4, have garnered glowing reviews across the board and generated emotional moments both amongst audiences and on stage.

Michigan State football WR coach Courtney Hawkins breaks down position group amidst camp
Michigan State football is in the midst of camp as it prepares for the 2025 season, and in particularly, the week one showdown with Western Michigan. One thing that has been a constant throughout camp, the wide receiver room is showing out and could be one of the deepest rooms in the conference. A big thanks for constructing, and coaching that room, goes to wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins, who time and time again shows that he is an elite coach at the position group. Hawkins was masterful at building a transfer portal class to go along with retaining Nick Marsh, and it gives MSU fans a ton to be excited about. On Monday, Hawkins was the coach tabbed to speak to the media, where he broke down his position group and spoke about how deep of a group he has, while highlighting the play of some specific players.
