Shocking footage emerges of men involved in a brawl on road at Ashmore on the Gold Coast
Shocking footage has emerged of two men involved in a terrifying brawl at a Queensland intersection.
Horrified motorists were forced to watch the roadside punch-on on Saturday, at Currumburra Road in Ashmore on the Gold Coast, between a driver of a white Holden Commodore and a silver Volkswagen ute.
The fight even blocked-off traffic at one point.
In the footage, the driver of the Commodore can be heard screaming 'come on', as he takes a punch at the Volkswagen driver.
As the fight intensified, the man delivered a second blow.
The Volkswagen driver then did an illegal U-turn, mounting the median strip and pulling in front of the Commodore.
On Monday, Sunrise reporter Georgia Costi spoke about the fracas, which has racked up a massive four million views on Facebook.
'It was all happening, and all the other drivers were paused, not quite knowing what was going to happen next,' Costi said, reporting from the intersection.
'It was a very dramatic and violent spectacle, and it all took place at this busy intersection here in Ashmore.
'You will be able to see in the footage one of the men from the Commodore gets out of the car. He is urging the other driver to get out and fight him and he lands several punches.
'That is when the other driver does a very dramatic illegal U turn but then he ends upcoming back over the median strip.
'Then, finally the driver of Volkswagen does decide to leave but the other driver gets in his car and follows him.'
Queensland Police have said they are aware of the footage, but no complaint has been made.

Police conduct new search at Broadmeadows park for missing man Joshua Bishop
A new search is underway for a missing 23-year-old who hasn't been seen since late May and whose disappearance is considered extremely out of character. Joshua Bishop was last seen by his housemate on Lalor Cres in Sunbury, northwest of Melbourne, at about 9:30pm on May 27. He was then reported missing by his mother two days later. Bishop has not been seen or heard from since, nor has he used his phone or accessed his bank accounts. Police are conducting a new search of a park in Broadmeadows on Monday as part of their continued investigation into his disappearance. Broadmeadows Valley Park on Barry Rd was previously searched on June 4. Bishop's phone was last tracked to the park the same day he was last seen. There is no updated information that has led to the new search, but rather police are doing a secondary sweep to ensure they have properly searched the area. Detectives, the Mounted Branch, Search and Rescue Squad and SES are involved in the search which is expected to last several hours. Police located Bishop's white Toyota Corolla on Ridley St in Albion on June 4. His 'associates' told officers they thought the car had been stolen from him. Police remain 'seriously concerned' for Bishop's welfare given the amount of time he has now been missing and his disappearance being 'completely out of character'. 'At this time, the circumstances of Joshua's disappearance are unclear and police have not been able to rule out that it may be suspicious,' Victoria Police said. Bishop has never been reported as missing before and he is not known by police. Detectives are investigating whether he has been involved in any criminal activity. His family previously said he had recently started using drugs. Bishop's family have been using social media to spread the word about his disappearance, with a dedicated TikTok and Facebook page gaining traction. His parents previously made an emotional public plea for his return, with his father Travis saying they just wanted him home safe. 'We want him to know we love him, we're here for him,' he said. 'I don't know how people go through this.' Bishop was last seen wearing a black singlet and tracksuit pants. He is Caucasian and described as being of average build with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a sleeve tattoo on his left arm, as well as a tattoo on his right leg that wraps around the back. Anyone who has any information about Bishop's disappearance has been urged to come forward.
