Omaha running back schedules official visit for June 13 in East Lansing with Michigan State
Running backs in the 2026 recruiting class have been all of the discussion around the Michigan State fanbase, with 4-star Kory Amachree committing to Kansas and 4-star Damon Ferguson scheduling an official visit, and now, a 3-star running back has scheduled an official visit with MSU.
Nelsyn Wheeler, a speedster from Omaha (NE), has cancelled his Wisconsin official visit in order to schedule an official visit with the Spartans on June 13.
Wheeler, a 3-star prospect, runs a very impressive 10.77 100m dash, and at 5'9" and 200 pounds, projects too be a very good scat back at the next level.
Aside from Michigan State, he will be taking official visits to Cincinnati, Illinois and Kansas.

MSU target, 3-star DL Gavin Neil picks up offer from Boston College
A Michigan State defensive lineman target is gaining some traction on the recruiting trail, with a power four school extending him an offer this week. Gavin Neil of Chicago Heights, Ill. announced on Tuesday that he's received an offer from Boston College. Neil posted on his social media X account to share the notable offer from the Eagles. Advertisement Neil is a three-star defensive lineman in the 2026 class, and holds a recruiting rating of 86 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 140 defensive lineman and No. 34 player from Illinois in the class. Michigan State and Boston College are the only two power four conference schools to offer Neil at this point in his recruitment, according to 247Sports. He holds other offers from smaller schools such as Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Marshall, Wyoming, Air Force, Army and Northern Illinois. Neil is set to take an official visit to Michigan State on June 20, and is currently projected to end up a Spartan via 247Sports' crystal ball predictions. So this latest offer from Boston College could threaten the Spartans' chances of landing his commitment later this month. This is certainly a prospect to keep an eye on as we progress through the next few weeks. Mock MLB draft has Mason Neville going to Milwaukee in the first round
Mock MLB draft has Mason Neville going to Milwaukee in the first round There were times this season when Mason Neville carried the Oregon Duck baseball team. It seemed as if he would hit a home run in every game. The Oregon centerfielder had a monster season where he set the program's single-season record with 26 home runs. He also hit .290 and drove in runs. Neville was hitting over .300 for much of the year, but he went into a late-season slump that brought his average down. For his efforts, MLB scouts are telling their bosses that Neville is a serious prospect. So much so that in the latest MLB mock draft from USA TODAY writer Gabe Lacques, the Duck centerfielder will be drafted at the end of the first round by the Milwaukee Brewers. According to Lacques, Neville's size and power will translate to the next level. "(Neville) should be a first-day selection and perhaps hits the outskirts of the first round if things break his way," he said. "Neville offers 30-homer power in a 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame that for now has stuck in center field." The MLB draft will occur during the All-Star Break July 13-14 in Atlanta.
