When it comes to face cleansers, it can be hard to find a product that removes all the day's makeup and impurities and leaves skin feeling hydrated instead of stripped.
Enter the Elizabeth Arden's new cleanser, a multi-tasking skincare essential that contains naturally derived glycerin to hydrate, soften, and smooth the skin.
The brand new Eight Hour HydraPlay 2-in-1 Daily Cleanser works as both a cleanser and a face mask, designed to cleanse, purify and minimise pores while leaving skin smoother, moisturised and healthy-looking.
Gentle enough for everyday use, the multi-benefit cleanse r begins as a mineral-rich clay mask that can either sit on the skin for a quick skin refresh, or be lathered with water, transforming it into a creamy mousse cleanser that washes away impurities and makeup without stripping the skin of essential oils.
This is all thanks to the host of non-comedogenic and skin-boosting ingredients that make up the hard-working cleanser, including pro-renewal complex, pink kaolin clay and naturally derived glycerin.
Pro-renewal complex is packed with protective pre and post-biotics that are infused into the skin to support its natural defences, leaving skin softer, radiant and refreshed.
Alongside this, pink kaolin clay works to unclog pores and remove impurities, while naturally derived Glycerin helps to hydrate, soften and smooth the complexion.
The result is skin that is deeply moisturised, healthy and clean of makeup, dirt and impurities – but don't just take our word for it.
In consumer trials based on a study with 54 women using the Eight Hour HydraPlay 2-in-1 Daily Cleanser, 87 per cent of users agreed their skin felt moisturised, 96 per cent agreed their skin looked healthy, 96 per cent agreed it removed makeup and 94 per cent agreed skin looked clean.
So, how will you HydraPlay?
If using as a cleanser, the brand recommends using morning and night, lathering with lukewarm water and gently massaging over the face, avoiding eyes, then rinsing.
Looking to use as a mask? Simply apply the mask cleanser over the face as needed but with focus on the T-zone, and leave for one minute before washing away.

FGM: Outrage in The Gambia after one-month-old baby dies

The death of a one-month-old baby girl who was the victim of female genital mutilation (FGM) in The Gambia has sparked widespread baby was rushed to a hospital in the capital, Banjiul, after she developed severe bleeding, but was pronounced dead on arrival, police said. Although an autopsy is still being conducted to establish the cause of her death, many people have linked it to FGM, or female circumcision, a cultural practice outlawed in the West African state. "Culture is no excuse, tradition is no shield, this is violence, pure and simple," a leading non-governmental organisation, Women In Leadership and Liberation (WILL), said in a statement. Two women had been arrested for their alleged involvement in the baby's death, police said. The MP for the Kombo North District where the incident happened emphasised the need to protect children from harmful practices that rob them of their health, dignity, and life."The loss of this innocent child must not be forgotten. Let it mark a turning-point and a moment for our nation to renew its unwavering commitment to protecting every child's right to life, safety, and dignity," Abdoulie Ceesay is the deliberate cutting or removal of a female's external genitalia. The most frequently cited reasons for carrying it out are social acceptance, religious beliefs, misconceptions about hygiene, a means of preserving a girl or woman's virginity, making her "marriageable", and enhancing male sexual Gambia is among the 10 countries with the highest rates of FGM, with 73% of women and girls aged 15 to 49 having undergone the procedure, with many doing so before the age of six years.'I wanted my clitoris back' - FGM survivor WILL founder Fatou Baldeh told the BBC that there was an increase in FGM procedures being performed on babies in The Gambia."Parents feel that if they cut their girls when they're babies, they heal quicker, but also, because of the law, they feel that if they perform it at such a young age, it's much easier to disguise, so that people don't know," she has been outlawed in The Gambia since 2015, with fines and jail terms of up to three years for perpetrators, and life sentences if a girl dies as a there have only been two prosecutions and one conviction, in 2023. A strong lobby group has emerged to demand the decriminalisation of FGM, but legislation aimed at repealing the ban was voted down in parliament last year. FGM is banned in more than 70 countries globally but continues to be practised particularly in Africa's Muslim-majority countries, such as The Gambia. Gaza food situation 'worst it's ever been', charity says – as UK promises £40m in aid

An aid worker in the central Gaza Strip has told Sky News the food situation in the enclave is "absolutely desperate" and "the worst it's ever been". Her comments to Sky's chief presenter Mark Austin come amid fresh international outcry over Israel's restrictions on aid, as the UK has joined together with 24 other countries to say: "The war in Gaza must end now." Rachael Cummings, humanitarian director for Save The Children, is in Deir al Balah, a city in central Gaza where tens of thousands of people have sought refuge during repeated waves of mass displacement. She said: "One of my colleagues said to me yesterday, 'We are all walking together towards death'. And this is the situation now for people in Gaza. "The markets are empty," she said. "People may even have cash in their pockets yet they cannot buy bread [or] vegetables. "My team have said to me, 'There's nothing in my house to feed my children, my children are crying all day, every day." Israel launched a ground assault on Deir al Balah on Monday morning, another charity said earlier. Ms Cummings's comments came as the UK and 24 other nations issued a joint statement calling for a ceasefire. The statement criticised aid distribution in Gaza, which is being managed by a US and Israel-backed organisation, Gaza Health Foundation. "The Israeli government's aid delivery model is dangerous, fuels instability and deprives Gazans of human dignity," it said. The 25 countries also called for the "immediate and unconditional release" of hostages captured by Hamas during the 7 October 2023 attacks. Lammy promises £40m for Gaza aid Foreign Secretary David Lammy later promised £40m for humanitarian assistance in Gaza. He told MPs: "We are leading diplomatic efforts to show that there must be a viable pathway to a Palestinian state involving the Palestinian Authority, not Hamas, in the security and governance of the area. "Hamas can have no role in the governance of Gaza, nor use it as a launchpad for terrorism." 2:53 Addressing the foreign secretaries' joint written statement, charity worker Liz Allcock - who works for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) in Gaza - told Sky News: "While we welcome this, there have been statements in the past 21 months and nothing has changed. "In fact, things have only got worse. And every time we think it can't get worse, it does." "Without a reversal of the siege, the lack of supplies, the constant bombardment, the forced displacement, the killing, the militarisation of aid, we are going to collapse as a humanitarian response," she said. "And this would do a grave injustice to the 2.2 million people we're trying to serve. "An immediate and permanent ceasefire, and avenues for accountability in line with international law, is the minimum people here deserve." The war in Gaza started in response to Hamas's attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, which killed 1,200 people and saw about 250 taken hostage. More than 59,000 Palestinians have since been killed, with more than half being women and children, according to Gaza's health ministry, which does not distinguish between civilians and combatants in its count. In recent weeks while waiting for food and aid.
