For the first time since the USFL reboot in 2022, the Birmingham Stallions will not be playing for a spring-league title. Instead, the Michigan Panthers will represent the USFL conference, while the DC Defenders will look to give the XFL conference its first title since the 2024 UFL merger. The Panthers are fresh off a 44-29 win over the Stallions, a victory that showcased the team's well-rounded offense. All-UFL quarterback Bryce Perkins was efficient and explosive, completing 20 of 25 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown while also notching a key 29-yard scramble on a third-and-14 to keep a touchdown drive alive. Perkins' dynamism is complemented by the strong, downhill running of Toa Taua, who notched 85 rushing yards and three touchdowns against the Stallions.
