Instead of mourning at the pulpit, Brooke honored her father by doing something personal, taking their newborn twins to his favorite beach.
'My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn't want one,' Brooke, 37, wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post. 'And although I know people grieve in many ways... I had to make my own decision to honor him the best way I knew how—privately.'
Her tribute wasn't cloaked in flowers or eulogies.

'The only thing missing today was him in his pop-up lawn chair watching the waves… and the sunset,' she added, referencing the quiet moments that once defined their bond.
She shared photos of her family walking the shoreline with their twins, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene. 'Molly loved the water. I think she'll be a 'little fish' as you called me,' Brooke wrote. 'Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby.'

'I was sobbing,' Brooke recalled. 'I just said, take me off everything. I don't want to be a part of it.'
She feared the turmoil that would follow Hogan's death, conflict with her mother Linda, tension with Hogan's third wife Sky Daily, and rumors of Scientology involvement. 'I don't want to fight Linda. I don't want to fight Scientology,' she said plainly. 'It scared me (via BLAST)'
Brooke's decision came from fatigue.
After standing by her father through scandals, leaked tapes, and painful headlines. She admitted the toll it took.
Their final exchange was cryptic and unsettling. 'He said, 'I just wanted to call and say I'm sorry for whatever I did,'' Brooke recalled. 'I asked, sorry for what? He never said. That was the last time I talked to my dad.'
Still, forgiveness remained in her heart. 'No matter what he ever did, I would forgive him for it,' she said.
'That's my daddy. I love him and I miss him.'
By the time Hulk Hogan's funeral came around, Brooke had made peace with her choice. 'We honored you in the simplest, most genuine way that agreed with my soul,' she wrote. 'I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you. Rest in heaven, Daddy.'

Inaugurating a lecture series on Shakespeare's plays, organised by Dharwad Katte in association with CVG Publications, Bengaluru, and Maharshi Valmiki University held at Bendre Bhavan in Dharwad he said their themes, sensibilities, language, and style expanded the creative possibilities of Kannada literature.
