Apple Pride Collection for 2025 is here
For another year, Apple rides the LGBTQ+ wave and announced this year's themed products right in time for Pride Month (which is June). The 2025 Pride Collection includes a Pride Edition Sports Band and wallpapers for wearables, iPhones, and iPads.
The strap features "a tapestry of rainbow stripes that vary in shape and size," and each band is assembled by hand from compression-molded stripes. This means that each strap is subtly unique, and no bands are exactly alike. According to a press release, this was created to reflect the "individuality of all members of the LGBTQ+ community."
The band is exclusive to the United States. It is already available to order today at the Apple Store and will be up for sale at offline stores next week. The price is $49, and comes in 40 mm, 42 mm, and 46 mm sizes, in both S/M and M/L lengths.
The customization of the watch goes further with a new Pride Harmony watch face. An upcoming software update will also bring a similar wallpaper design to iPhones and iPads. The wallpaper will be available on all devices getting watchOS 11.5, iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5.

Apple's surprises for WWDC 2025 leak ahead of event
Apple's WWDC ( Worldwide Developers Conference ) event for this year begins on June 9. Thanks to Apple insider Mark Gurman however, we now know most of what the company plans to show off at the event. Consistent with reports circulating for weeks now, this year's WWDC event will be a much more subdued affair when it comes to promises for the future. Apple doesn't want the embarrassment of last year's event: when it promised a ton of Apple Intelligence features that either remain absent or half-baked to this day. To that end, the company will not focus as much on AI, opting instead for the tried and tested hype generation that comes after a complete software redesign. While some think that Apple is hurting itself by showing everyone that it's lagging behind in AI, I think that most consumers will be happy to have an event that's not entirely based around AI advancements. Here's everything we now know that Apple will showcase at WWDC 2025. This will be like the jump from iOS 6 to iOS 7 all over again. | Image credit — Nobel Tech Remember iOS 7? That was when Apple completely redesigned its operating system for the iPhone, opting instead for a much sleeker and more modern look. The same thing is happening again, but this time with all of the operating systems under the company's umbrella, even watchOS and tvOS. CarPlay will be getting redesigned too, as the idea is to provide a consistent experience across all Apple new design is based off visionOS, the operating system that powers the Apple Vision Pro MR ( Mixed Reality ) headset. All of Apple's operating systems will get a much glassier look, and light will be used throughout the user interface to make for a visually appealing experience. Pop-out menus will become more common as to many rumors, the app icons on iOS and iPadOS are not going to become round. Widgets will also, naturally, mimic the new look. All of the operating systems are going to follow a new naming convention as well: each of them will now sport the number '26' for the upcoming year. This will continue on to '27', '28', and so on. Safari has remained a staple of the iOS experience. | Image credit — PhoneArena The Phone, Camera, Messages, and Safari apps are going to change as well. For the Phone app, Apple is introducing a new scrollable window which will combine recent calls, favorite contacts, and voicemails. This change is optional, and users can revert to the old look from within the Safari web browser is mostly getting cosmetic changes to reflect the new look across all of Apple's operating systems. This includes a more transparent and glass-like address bar, in addition to other minor tweaks. The camera app will mostly focus on decluttering its interface in order to provide much simpler access to its myriad of the Messages app is getting a modern overhaul to help it compete with alternative messaging apps like Meta's WhatsApp. This includes the ability to create polls and set background images that are synced across devices. Using Preview on a Mac. | Image credit — Apple The Preview app from macOS is finally coming to iOS and iPadOS, so users can view PDFs or make small edits to them. Before this, iPhone and iPad users would have had to use third-party solutions from the App Store. Preview will be pre-installed on iOS and is also going to introduce the Games app, as the company makes a push into the gaming industry. This will also be pre-installed, and will be available on a lot more operating systems and devices. However, Gurman claims that this app is 'underwhelming' and not as good as Apple needs it to be. Apple's premium MR headset remains a niche product. | Image credit — PhoneArena The Apple Vision Pro — which is lending its software design to all of Apple's operating systems this year — won't be missing out on all the fun. Aside from the previously reported eye scrolling feature, the Vision Pro is finally going to support VR games more seriously. There were reports about Apple and Sony teaming up to provide PSVR2 controller support for the Vision Pro . Turns out, Apple's headset is getting a completely new tool that will allow owners to use other third-party VR controllers as well. This should definitely help sell a few more Vision Pro headsets, as gaming remains the biggest reason most people buy a VR headset in the first place. Apple Intelligence features promised for the iPhone 16 last year. | Video credit — Apple Though Apple will not focus much on AI, it wouldn't be a 2025 smartphone event without some mention of improvements in that field. Here are some of the standout Apple Intelligence upgrades that the company plans to announce at WWDC that we've not covered before: Live translation of phone calls and text messages Combining two existing emojis for a brand new Genmoji Shortcuts app will use Apple Intelligence And that's a wrap! There are a few other things that were leaked before, which we've already covered: like the iPadOS improvements and updates to the Apple Pencil. Apple will allegedly refrain from making any promises about features still in development. And while that makes for a 'less exciting' event, it certainly means one that sets much more realistic expectations.

If you have a little more dough to spend, the 13-inch iPad Air (M3) at $100 off its list price and the just-released OnePlus Pad 3 with a complimentary keyboard and stylus included in its normal price could be your best tablet options right now. Or, if you've recently won the lottery, you can opt for a 1TB Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra monster at an unbeatable 300 bucks off its regular (and rather obscene) price. 41mm, Wear OS, GPS, Bluetooth, Aluminum Case, Active Band, Multiple Colors, Circular AMOLED Display with Up to 1000 Nits Brightness, Heart Rate Monitor, ECG, Blood Oxygen Sensor, Fall Detection, Emergency SOS, Safety Check, Skin Temperature, Stress Management, Compass, Altimeter, Built-in Microphone and Speaker, Enhanced 24-Hour Battery Life Buy at Amazon GPS, Bluetooth, Aluminum Case, 1.3-Inch AMOLED Display with 432 x 432 Pixel Resolution, Sapphire Crystal, AI Smartwatch with Energy Score, Heart Rate Monitor, Sleep Tracking, Wear OS, 300mAh Battery, 2GB RAM, 16GB Storage, Green and Cream Colors, US Version, 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty, Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 Included Buy at Amazon GPS, Bluetooth, Wear OS, Black Stainless Steel Case, Rotating Bezel, Sapphire Crystal Display, IP68 Water and Dust Resistance, Always-on Heart Rate Monitoring, ECG, Fall Detection, Infrared Temperature Sensor, Body Composition, Cycle Tracking, Irregular Heart Rate Notification, Advanced Sleep Coaching Buy at Amazon GPS, Bluetooth, LTPO3 OLED Always-On Retina Display with Up to 2000 Nits Brightness, ECG, High and Low Heart Rate Notifications, Sleep Tracking, Sleep Apnea Notifications, Temperature Sensing, Cycle Tracking, Emergency SOS, Fall Detection, Crash Detection, Water Resistant Up to 50 Meters, Swimproof, Depth Gauge, S10 Processor, Double Tap Gesture, Up to 18 Hours of Battery Life, Faster Charging, Aluminum Case, Multiple Colors and Band Options Buy at Amazon $200 off (31%) GPS, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, 47mm, 1.5-Inch AMOLED Display with 480 x 480 Pixel Resolution, Sapphire Crystal, AI Smartwatch with Energy Score, Heart Rate Monitor, Sleep Tracking, Titanium Construction, Wear OS, Up to 100 Hours of Battery Life, Customizable Quick Button, 2GB RAM, 32GB Storage, Three Color Options, No Trade-In Required (Additional Discounts Available with Trade-Ins) Buy at Samsung Can you think of a better time to buy the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic than right before the official announcement of an upgraded Galaxy Watch 8 Classic with the same signature rotating bezel? I sure can't, although the Pixel Watch 2 and non-Classic-branded Galaxy Watch 7 are even cheaper and thus more appealing for the most cash-strapped smartwatch buyers out there. And the Galaxy Watch 7 even comes with a gratis Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 as an additional deal sweetener. True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation, Ambient Sound Mode, Up to 7.5 Hours of Uninterrupted Listening Time, 15 Hours of Battery Life with Charging Case, IPX4 Water Resistance, Multipoint Connectivity, Easy Button Operation, Black Buy at Amazon $35 off (35%) True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation, Ambient Sound, New Wingtip Design, Auto Switch, IPX2 Water Resistance, White and Graphite Color Options, Additional Discounts Available with Trade-In Buy at Samsung $60 off (24%) True Wireless Earbuds with Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, Galaxy AI, Sound Optimization, Adaptive Equalizer, Real-Time Interpreter, Intuitive Touch Control, 360 Audio, Bluetooth 5.4 Connectivity, IP57 Water and Dust Resistance, Up to 6 Hours of Uninterrupted Listening Time, 26 Hours of Battery Life with Case, Silver and White Color Options, Additional Discounts Available with Trade-In Buy at Samsung Obviously, only the Sony WF-C700N and Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are deserving of that label. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, meanwhile, are... still a little expensive, but that's because they offer the highest degree of active noise cancellation available, as well as top-of-the-line sound quality, excellent battery life, and flawless connectivity. It's pretty clear what my recommendation is, right?
