Dallas Cowboys Player Blasts New England Patriots' Leadership
Yet, the NFL is all about what you've done lately, and the Patriots have been riding the struggle bus, missing the playoffs each year since 2021. As for the Cowboys, they've been much better, reaching the playoffs in three of the past four seasons.
This past offseason saw the Patriots and Cowboys execute a trade that sent quarterback Joe Milton from New England to Dallas. While the Patriots now have an all-new coaching regime, and even the Cowboys have changed head coaches from last season, Milton suggests the Patriots' previous setup could use a lot of work.
'Dak is a great leader. All respect to him. He literally goes out of his way to help me, no matter if the coach is talking in the meeting, he literally goes out of his way to help. . . . I've been in another building. I know how that goes. It's just very different over here.'

The Patriots probably should be cut some slack here, considering they had a rookie, Drake Maye, leading their quarterback room last season. However, they also had other veterans on hand, such as Jacoby Brissett too. They weren't exactly focused on developing the sixth-round rookie as opposed to the third overall pick.
No matter what, we're guessing the Patriots won't have the same issues again under Mike Vrabel as opposed to last year with first-year coach Jerod Mayo.

Lions trade package that would land Micah Parsons in blockbuster deal with Cowboys
The door is slightly ajar for the Detroit Lions — and 30 other teams — to trade for Dallas Cowboys superstar linebacker, Micah Parsons. On Friday, Parsons took to social media to reveal that he has requested a trade. Before that, a report from The Athletic's Dianna Russini and Jon Machota said that Parsons and the Cowboys are no longer talking about a contract extension and that the relationship has been badly damaged. While it remains to be seen if the Cowboys will actually trade Parsons or if this is just another Myles Garrett-Cleveland Browns situation, analysts have already begun firing off possible trade packages for the four-time Pro Bowler. One of those packages comes from Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox, who suggested this trade for the Lions. However, they still need a high-end edge-rusher to complement Aidan Hutchinson and build a complete roster," Knox wrote. With $51.1 million in cap space, though, the Lions could at least lay the groundwork for those contracts," he adds. That is an absolutely massive package of picks and is probably more than the Lions would actually have to give up. Even still, for a generational talent like Parsons, it would be well worth it for a Lions team eyeing its first Super Bowl. The Lions need more juice in their pass-rush. Davenport is too injury-prone to rely on as support for Aidan Hutchinson, who is coming off a season in which he suffered a significant injury. It's true that the Lions would have to pay both Hutchinson and Parsons enormous contracts, but if there's two players on the same team you can justify paying big money to, it would be those two if they were paired in Detroit. Having Parsons and Hutchinson in the same lineup would give Detroit the most dynamic pass-rushing duo in the NFL and would greatly increase the Lions' chances of winning the Super Bowl. Are there financial concerns with acquiring Parsons down the road? Of course, but with the Lions in win-now mode, trade for generational defensive talent first, ask questions later. The NFL world came to a screeching halt on Friday when superstar pass-rusher Micah Parsons requested a trade from the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons issued a lengthy statement on Friday in which he explained why his recent contract negotiations with the franchise soured his willingness to continue playing in course, the Cowboys reportedly have no intention of honoring Parsons' request to be traded (per The Athletic's Dianna Russini), even if other NFL teams reportedly planned to reach out and gauge his availably. A stand-off between Parsons and the Cowboys seems very likely now, as Parsons could always skip out on the season if the Cowboys don't trade him and still won't come to terms on a new deal. Have any other NFL players requested trades lately? Yes. Just a few examples: Washington Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin requested a trade earlier in the week. Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson requested one in March, and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett requested one in February before signing a new deal with the franchise. Trade requests can be legitimate, and they can also be negotiation tactics to put pressure on teams to get a deal done. Occasionally, they can be both. We're not sure which way Parsons is leaning, but he can request a trade and still eventually sign a new deal with the Cowboys. Is Parsons going to hold out from training camp? Apparently, Parsons isn't going to hold out of training camp even as he requests a trade out of Dallas, per NFL reporter Ed Werder. What NFL teams could trade for Parsons? We've got a list here of possible suitors you should definitely check out. Are Cowboys fans happy about this? Nooooo. Fans jeered Jones as recently as last week. Is a Parsons trade going to happen? Honestly, we're not sure. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones loves publicity for his team, even in strained contract negotiations. Most likely, Dallas eventually will cave and pay their best player. However, we live in a world where superstar athletes are traded to new teams unexpectedly. A Parsons trade isn't necessarily out of the question.
