Report: WWE Evolution All-Women's PLE Set To Return This Year

WWE Evolution
It looks like WWE Evolution is finally set to return.
WWE Evolution was an all-women's professional wrestling pay-per-view that took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York. As of now, it is the first and only Evolution event to take place in WWE.
That looks to change, however, according to a new report from @WrestleVotes. The outlet claims WWE is set to reintroduce the Evolution event this summer. No date for the Evolution relaunch was reported by @WrestleVotes.

However, Bodyslam.net's Cory Hays was credited for reporting talks of Evolution's return earlier this month. Hays previously listed July 5, 2025, as a potential date of the event. WWE has not commented on Evolution's return. A formal announcement is expected shortly before WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas next month.
The original WWE Evolution pay-per-view featured seven matches on the event card. This included three WWE women's championships being defended on the card. The main event saw Ronda Rousey defeat Nikki Bella, while the penultimate match saw Becky Lynch defeat Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing match. Other matches on the card saw Toni Storm defeat Io Shirai to win the 2018 Mae Young Classic. Trish Stratus and Lita also defeated Mickie James and Alicia Fox, who had Alexa Bliss in their corner.
James was the architect behind NWA's all-women's pay-per-view event, Empowerrr, which took place in 2021 as part of NWA's anniversary weekend. James was the executive producer of the show, which had Chelsea Green score a main event win in a NWA Women's Invitational Cup Gauntlet.

Former NBA player: LeBron should retire, won't win another NBA title

Former NBA player: LeBron should retire, won't win another NBA title LeBron James has a big decision to make over the next few weeks. He has a player option for next season, and he can either play on it or decline it. If he is to decline that option, he's expected to sign a slightly longer new contract in order to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers. But there are those, including quite a few Lakers fans, who want him to either leave the Lakers or simply retire this summer. A sizable chunk of the Lakers' fan base feels James has run his course with the franchise and that it is time for the organization to say goodbye to him and Klutch Sports. Former NBA player Olden Polynice went on the "Fast Break" podcast, which is hosted by former Laker Byron Scott, and said it's time for James to call it quits. "The longevity aspect, I think it's getting a little bit too much now," Polynice said. "Because I'm like, dude, what else you want to do? It's time for you to start thinking about retiring." With Luka Doncic now by his side, James could have a very real chance at winning his fifth NBA championship next season, as long as management upgrades at the center position and adds guard and wing depth. But Polynice feels that no matter what, the 40-year-old will be stuck at four rings. "He ain't getting no fifth ring unless he buys one," Polynice stated. "… It ain't happening." James is still playing at a high level, even if there has been a bit of slippage lately. He averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds a game while shooting 51.3% from the field and 37.6% from 3-point range this season, and he was named to the All-NBA Second Team. If he returns next season, he will play in his 23rd NBA season, which will set a new record.

Kenzie Paige Highlights Which Match Is A Perfect Representation Of Who She Is

One of the faces of the National Wrestling Alliance is current NWA Women's World Champion Kenzie Paige. She has been holding on to the world title for over 600 days. Recently, Kenzie Paige was interviewed by WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the interview, Paige shared that her match for the NWA Women's World Championship against the former champion Kamille is the perfect representation of who she is in the ring. Advertisement 'Kenzie Paige versus Kamille for the NWA Women's World Championship. Still holds up. Still has a very emotional attachment to me, obviously. But I feel like that's the perfect representation of, I can hit hard, I can pull at your heart strings. And I can play dirty if I have to. I feel like that one's a perfect example of who Kenzie Paige is.' Kenzie Paige on her 625+ days as NWA Women's World Champion and potentially beating Kamille's record During the same interview, Paige shared her thoughts on her long title reign. 'I feel like I'm not really too focused on the days that I have the championship. I just want to make sure that the days I do have it, it matters. And whenever my time does come and I'm not the NWA Women's Champion anymore, I want people to remember, 'Kenzie Paige, she did something with it. She did something for the NWA. Her being the champion was good for her but it was good for the NWA.' That's the kind of thing I want to focus on there.' Advertisement 'But I also feel like, a lot of my run with the NWA has been history, right? The youngest NWA Women's Champion, first Triple Crown, first NWA Television Women's Champion. Just a lot of things. First woman to own a territory within the National Wrestling Alliance. And the youngest of course. But that is a lot of my reign and run at the National Wrestling Alliance is based on the fact that I've made history over, and over, and over, and over.' Paige noted how her match against Natalya would be historical too, and for different reasons. 'I've just been trying to build up not only my name but the NWA. I'm trying to give back some of that prestige feeling and just… It matters to me, and I want it to matter to everybody else. So, being a part of the history, being in those historical matches, it does mean a lot to me. And I just want to keep doing that and keep growing it to what I know it can be.'
