'The Big Bang Theory' Spinoff Coming and Some Major Cast Members Are Set to Return
On July 9, Deadline confirmed that HBO Max has ordered Stuart Fails To Save The Universe, which will star some of the original cast members, including Kevin Sussman (Stuart Bloom), Lauren Lapkus (Denise), Brian Posehn (Bert) and Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke).
The Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady called the new show "a complex science fiction story." TBBT's co-creator Chuck Lorre is also involved in the new series.
As for the show's main storyline, it will follow Bloom's quest to restore reality "after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard," portrayed by Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki respectively. The very thing that Stuart breaks causes a "multiverse Armageddon."
'We're excited to be continuing the legacy of The Big Bang Theory,' Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO and HBO Max Content, said. 'Much like the original series, this new chapter wouldn't be possible without the vision and storytelling brilliance of Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, as well as Zak Penn, who has brought fresh insight and a distinctive voice to an already exceptional creative team.'
Sussman previously teased the spinoff in an Instagram post uploaded back in March. Many fans reacted to the idea of a Stuart spinoff and most seemed interested.
"Wow can't wait for this, especially if they're letting Stuart be Stuart, dude killed in that role," one person wrote.
"I can't wait. Kevin, you're so awesome and deserve to be the star of your own show," someone else said.
This is the second official spinoff to come from The Big Bang Theory, which aired from 2007 through 2019. Young Sheldon hit cable TV from 2017 through 2024. The popular show wrapped after its seventh season.'The Big Bang Theory' Spinoff Coming and Some Major Cast Members Are Set to Return first appeared on Men's Journal on Jul 9, 2025

13 Iconic Celebrity Wedding Dresses Of Past 25 Years
It's wedding season, and that means it's time to revisit the most iconic, beautiful, and glamorous celebrity wedding dresses of the past 25 years. Whether you're looking for inspo or just want to admire some gorgeous gowns, enjoy! Kate Middleton's Grace Kelly-inspired gown for her 2011 wedding to Prince William: In 2021, Lily Collins married director Charlie McDowell in, dare I say, one of the most beloved wedding dresses of the century. She worked with Ralph Lauren to create the gown and hooded lace cloak, and shared in an Instagram post that the design was her "ultimate dream combination of Western Americana and British Victorian." When Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas in 2018, the pair celebrated over multiple days and multiple ceremonies. For their western ceremony, she wore a lace Ralph Lauren dress that was hand-beaded and hand-embroidered and featured a stunning 75-foot veil. And for their Hindu ceremony, Priyanka stunned in a lehenga in the traditional red from Indian designer Sabyasachi. If you were on the internet in any capacity when the couple tied the knot in 2018, there was no escaping discussion of their gorgeous wedding. It was one for the books! Issa Rae surprised fans with her "impromptu" wedding to Louis Diame in 2021. The pair got married in France, and her dress was to die for. Louis's Dolce & Gabbana suit looks incredible, as well! Another fantastic cape moment: Solange Knowles' jumpsuit for her New Orleans wedding to Alan Ferguson. If there's anything cooler than the bride and groom arriving by bike, it's this cape. Kiera Knightley married musician James Righton in a small, private ceremony in the South of France. She wore a tulle Chanel dress, and because she is the iconic Kiera Knightley, she has stunned in the dress at multiple events since then. Sustainable queen! Julianne Moore looked fabulous in a non-traditional look for her wedding to Bart Freundlich in 2003. She kept it low-key but nonetheless radiant in a lavender silk slip dress from Prada, matching her husband's lavender dress shirt. In 2023, Anya Taylor-Joy and musician Malcolm McRae celebrated their marriage in Venice, Italy, for which she wore this beautiful Dior gown. Their large celebration might have been in Venice, but the two had already secretly eloped in New Orleans some months before. Anya shared gorgeous pictures of the New Orleans affair on her Instagram. In 2002, wearing the most early-aughts fairytale look I've seen yet, Gwen Stefani married her now ex-husband Gavin in a glorious pink and white ombré gown from Dior. Instead of having a new gown designed for her 2020 marriage to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice borrowed and modified an old dress from her grandmother, none other than Queen Elizabeth herself. Beatrice also got to borrow her grandma's diamond tiara, no biggie. Queen Elizabeth originally wore the Norman Hartnell gown to the 1962 premiere of Lawrence of Arabia. The dress was refitted, hemmed, and cap sleeves were added, making it the perfect look for Beatrice's big day. This one might be my favorite on the list. Keyword might. Check out more pictures on the Royal Family's Instagram account! Emma Stone first met her now-husband Dave McCary when she hosted Saturday Night Live in 2016. Their wedding was pretty private, but we did get to admire her reception dress when she re-wore it at the 2022 Met Gala. When Hailey and Justin Bieber got married in their 2019 ceremony, she wore a gown designed by the late Virgil Abloh featuring the veil that took Instagram by storm. "TILL DEATH DO US PART," the veil read. Miranda Kerr looked like a princess in Dior at her 2017 wedding to Evan Spiegel — which is no surprise, considering she told Vogue she was inspired by Grace Kelley's gown. For more pictures, check out Miranda's Instagram. And finally, a special mention to honor an icon: although their wedding was more than 25 years ago, I would be remiss not to mention the black gown Sarah Jessica Parker wore to wed Matthew Broderick in their 1997 ceremony. Icon. Which of these celeb wedding dresses is your favorite? Share your thoughts in the comments!
