Fans to wait a bit longer: Hetty Koes Endang concert in Miri rescheduled to Sept 13
Eddie (left) and Hetty show the signed agreement for the concert during a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur earlier this year. MIRI (June 6): Fans of Indonesian music legend Hetty Koes Endang will have to wait a little longer for her much-anticipated concert here, as organisers Borneo SuperAct Events have officially announced the postponement of the 'Hetty Koes Endang & Friends' concert to Sept 13, 2025. Originally scheduled for July 5 at the Miri Indoor Stadium, the concert has been rescheduled to allow the organisers additional time to fine-tune preparations and deliver what they describe as a 'highest quality' experience befitting the renowned diva and her fans. In a statement yesterday, Borneo SuperAct Events cited unavoidable circumstances during concurrent preparations as the key reason for the deferment. 'Postponing the concert date appears the best solution to give ourselves and our strategic partners more time to reset and consolidate efforts in order to propel this concert to excellent fruition,' said founder and owner Datuk Eddie Abdullah. The company also expressed its deep appreciation to Hetty, affectionately known as 'Bunda', for her understanding and full agreement with the postponement. Widely respected across Indonesia and beyond, Hetty is expected to draw fans not only from Malaysia but also neighbouring countries like Brunei, Indonesia (Kalimantan), and Singapore, thanks to accessible regional travel routes such as Scoot flights. Meanwhile, all tickets purchased through Uber Tickets remain valid for the new date. According to Eddie, Uber Tickets has confirmed that while tickets are transferable, they remain non-refundable in accordance with the original terms and conditions. Ticket holders are encouraged to contact the Uber Tickets hotline for assistance. The concert will also feature local artistes including Bob Yusof, Rickie Andrewson, Rosiana Urai, and emerging talents Aleysha and Ryan Zachary. Significantly, the concert is charity-driven, with a portion of ticket proceeds going to the Persatuan Sokongan Kanser Payudara Miri (Persopam), a local breast cancer support group. 'This is a concert with charity in mind, as we believe that in business, there must also be a sense of caring and sharing towards the less fortunate in our community,' Eddie added. Borneo SuperAct Events is also appealing to corporate organisations to support the concert, either by sponsoring the event or purchasing bulk tickets as a goodwill gesture for employees and families. The concert marks the organiser's debut venture into the creative and performing arts industry in Sarawak and is expected to contribute to local tourism and cultural vibrancy. 'With more time for planning and promotion, we are optimistic that the concert will exceed expectations when it finally takes place in September,' said Eddie. For updates and further information, fans can follow Borneo SuperAct Events and Uber Tickets on their official platforms. concert Hetty Koes Endang indonesia lead miri postponed

FBI's Dan Bongino Admits He Hates His New Job To Fox News Hosts
Dan Bongino has only been FBI deputy director for a short time, but he's already complaining about the job. Bongino, who was a Secret Service agent and peddler of conspiracy theories before President Donald Trump tapped him for his current position, appeared on 'Fox & Friends' Thursday to discuss three Biden-era cases the FBI has recently reopened, including an investigation into a bag of cocaine found at the White House in 2023. However, the part of the interview that is getting the buzz was Bongino's admission that he isn't enjoying his new job one bit ― especially the work-life balance, or lack thereof. 'The biggest lifestyle change is family-wise,' Bongino lamented, explaining that he took the civil service job at the president's behest. 'It was a lot, and it's been tough on the family. People ask all the time, 'Do you like it?' No. I don't,' he said. 'But the president didn't ask me to do this to like it — nobody likes going into an organization like that and having to make big changes.' At one point during his Fox News interview, the former podcaster told an anecdote about a woman who said she missed his show. Bongino said he told the woman, 'I miss me too,' and then explained to his interviewers, 'Part of you dies when you see this stuff behind the scenes.' He then griped about how people are treating him and FBI Director Kash Patel, who is having his own on-the-job struggles. 'I don't know what people think me and Kash [Patel] are doing all day. I mean, I gave up everything for this. I mean, my wife is struggling — and I'm not a victim,' Bongino insisted. 'I'm not [former FBI Director James] Comey. It's fine. I did this, and I'm proud that I did it.' Although Patel has been accused of not taking the FBI director position seriously, Bongino defended his boss. 'If you think we're there for tea and crumpets, well, I mean, Kash is there all day,' Bongino stressed. 'Our offices are linked. He turns on the faucet, I hear it… He gets in at, like, 6 o'clock in the morning. He doesn't leave until 7 at night. I'm in there at 7:30 in the morning. He uses the gym. I work out in my apartment.' Bongino then made a somewhat confusing statement about the current status of his relationship with his wife. 'But I stare at these four walls all day in D.C., by myself, divorced from my wife — not divorced, but I mean separated, divorced — and it's hard. I mean, we love each other, and it's hard to be apart.' Here's a clip of Bongino's remarks. Bongino may have hoped for sympathy from Fox News viewers, but his 'apparent self-martyring' (as the Independent described it) didn't get that reaction from people on social media. Steve Doocy Tearfully Quits His ‘Fox & Friends' Hosting Role—and Reveals He's Leaving New Jersey To Move to Florida
Longtime Fox News host Steve Doocy has announced that he is stepping down from his full-time hosting role on 'Fox & Friends' in order to relocate to Florida—after growing increasingly frustrated with his 3:30 a.m. commute from New Jersey to the network's Manhattan studio. Doocy, 68, has appeared as a full-time co-host on the program since its inception in 1998, and his decision to step away from the show's iconic white couch left both his colleagues and fans stunned, particularly because he shared the news on the same day as his last appearance in the Fox News studio. The news anchor held back tears as he explained the reasons for his move, while reassuring viewers that he will not be leaving their screens for good. 'After decades of getting up at 3:30 and driving into NYC in the dark, today is the last day I will host the show … from the couch. I am not retiring, I'm not leaving the show. I'm still a host—but it's time for a change,' he said. Doocy, who is currently based in New Jersey, where he lives with wife Kathy Doocy, revealed that he plans to move to the Sunshine State and will continue to contribute to 'Fox & Friends' from there. Meanwhile, his colleagues, Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones, will carry on in their full-time roles from the studio's 'curvy couch.' Although he made clear that he will miss sitting alongside his costars every day, Doocy admitted that he is looking forward to sleeping in and not having to make the drive from his New Jersey home to the office. He explained, 'Do you remember the '80s Dunkin' Donuts commercial where the alarm clock goes off at 3:30? 'It's time to make the donuts.' 'For the last 30 years when my alarm clock goes off—at 3:30—if it wakes up my wife Kathy, she always says, 'It's time to make the donuts.' And I say, 'You're right; it's time to make the donuts,' and I get up and go to work.' Doocy then revealed that AI had informed him that his alarm has gone off before dawn a total of 6,828 times, joking that he's reached his limit as far as early-morning wake ups are concerned. 'That, ladies and gentlemen, is a lot of donuts. It's a great job … but the hours suck,' he added. Beginning on May 2, Doocy will take on a new position as the show's 'coast-to-coast host,' a decision that came after he called up Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott—someone he branded a 'friend for over 30 years'—in order to discuss taking on a different role. 'She gave me a great option—to keep working on this show … just not every day. Essentially it's the Johnny Carson deal. Remember, Johnny worked his three days in Burbank—and I'll be based in Florida, which means you may never see me in a necktie again.' With his move to Florida comes plenty of opportunity to cover new ground, he noted, explaining that he will also be located much closer to President Donald Trump's resort at Mar-a-Lago. 'I'll be going from the Carolinas to the Keys. From Middle America to Mar-a-Lago. Call me the coast-to-coast host,' he said. Doocy did not reveal where exactly in Florida he and his wife will base themselves; however, property records indicate that the couple already owns a home in Jupiter, FL, which is also home to several members of the Trump family, including Don Jr.; his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump; and Eric and Lara Trump. The three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom dwelling was last sold in 2014 for $1 million—having been on the market for just one month. However, while Doocy does appear to have a property in Florida, it's unclear whether he plans to list his New Jersey abode, which is currently off the market. That property sprawls across 3,351 square feet and is situated on 1.03 acres. It was built in 1990. The news anchor purchased the property in 1994 for $585,000; however, now estimates that it is worth $1.4 million. Doocy's new position will allow him to spend more time with his family—something he revealed he was unable to do previously. 'When my kids were growing up, I never had breakfast with them. I was here. Kathy did everything, but starting tomorrow, I'm going to have breakfast with my grandkids and my children whenever I can,' he explained. He also revealed he is planning a visit to see his son—and fellow Fox News star—Peter Doocy and his daughter-in-law Hillary Vaughn's newborn son, George, in Washington, D.C.—and then head to Dallas, to see his daughter, Sally, and her husband, Ali. Peter, 37, and Vaughn wed in an intimate ceremony in South Carolina in 2021, two years before celebrating the arrival of their firstborn child, daughter Bridget Blake Doocy, now 2. The couple then purchased a stunning $1.68 million home, where they can accommodate their growing family. The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom dwelling is in Fairfax, VA, just a 40-minute drive from the White House in Washington, D.C., where Peter works as Fox News' senior White House correspondent, while his wife serves as a correspondent for Fox Business. Although Doocy will be stepping back from the Midtown Manhattan studios and spending more time with his family, he assured fans that he wouldn't be retiring anytime soon. 'I will continue to join this couch crew for commentary. You have trusted me for all these years and don't worry, you will still hear my voice and my opinions loud and clear—despite whatever seasonal pollen is killing me,' he said. Doocy noted that he would keep in touch with his co-hosts and wouldn't be a stranger, adding, 'As for the cast on the couch—who I love and adore—if this was the last day I'd ever work with you again, the waterworks would be flowing, you know me. But after a little vacation, I'll be back on the show, via the magic of television.' 'I'm transitioning from 'It's time to make the donuts' to 'It's time to make the breakfast, Grandpa.' Now step on it.' Steve Doocy will co-host ‘Fox & Friends' from Florida
Steve Doocy is giving up his spot on the curvy couch at 'Fox & Friends,' but he won't be leaving the Fox News morning program. Doocy told viewers Thursday he is moving to Florida where he will perform his co-host duties remotely while Ainsley Earhardt, Lawrence Jones and Brian Kilmeade continue to helm the program from the network's studio in New York. After putting in nearly three decades on the morning shift at Fox News, he will reduce his work load to three days a week. 'It is a great job but the hours suck,' Doocy said. 'After decades of getting up at 3:30 and driving into New York City in the dark, today is the last day I will host this show from the couch. I'm not retiring. I'm not leaving the show, I'm still a host but it's time for a change.' Doocy said he will also travel to outside of Florida to do remote segments for 'Fox & Friends.' Doocy, 68, is a Fox News original, joining the conservative-leaning network when it launched in 1996. He was the 'weather guy' on the original Fox News morning program 'Fox X-Press' and became a co-host of 'Fox & Friends' when it took over the time period in 1998. In recent years, Doocy emerged as the member of the 'Fox & Friends' team most likely to challenge the Trump-supporting talking points heard throughout the program. His occasionally tense exchanges with Kilmeade — such as when the two clashed over congressional investigations into Joe Biden and his son Hunter — are often highlighted by Fox News critics on social media. The moments of pushback from Doocy have been noticeable as 'Fox & Friends' has long been giving Trump an unfiltered forum to present his views — including his false claim that former President Obama was not born in the U.S. — before entering the political arena as a candidate. It remains to be seen whether Doocy's ability to provide a counterpoint on issues will be diminished by not being in the studio. Doocy assured viewers that he will continue to speak up. 'I will continue to join the couch crew for commentary,' he said. 'Don't worry — you will still hear my voice loud and clear.' The program showed a congratulatory video message from President Trump. 'You've always treated me fairly — sometimes a little more fairly than other times but that's OK,' Trump said. '... You are a very, very good man.' Doocy's son, Peter Doocy, is senior White House correspondent for Fox News and his daughter-in-law, Hillary Vaughn, is a Washington, D.C.-based correspondent for Fox Business Network. Peter Doocy and Vaughn are married. Before joining Fox News, Steve Doocy was a features reporter at the Washington, D.C., station WRC-TV, a host for a daytime NBC talk show 'House Party,' and a host on the cable network America's Talking, which was the precursor to MSNBC.
