Actor Ashutosh Rana , who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Heer Express', feels that in addition to reading the young generation should also connect with people on a deeper level as it would enrich them as human beings. The actor recently spoke with IANS ahead of the film's release, and said that reading literature may give a certain level of understanding about the society and the world at large to people, connect with fellow human beings, make them richer as every person comes with their own story and situation. He told IANS, "I believe that they should read a lot but also connect a lot. Sometimes it happens that some people are not interested in reading. But they are interested in connecting with people. They are interested in connecting with the world. So along with connecting with the world, with connecting with people, you should also have a feeling of connection with yourself. You should also keep connecting with yourself. To be friends with you, first of all, I will have to be friends with myself". "I believe that if you look at the world, not only words, even silence teaches us and you. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like What Is Your Writing Missing? He has also done very good plays". The films that he has made, be it 'OMG - Oh My God' or '102 Not Out', if you watch his films, those films are also very good and he makes films on different subjects. So, when you are with a person who understands all the mediums and when he is present in all the mediums, you leave yourself with that person without any worries as an actor", he added. Filmmaker Umesh Shukla, known for helming comedy dramas such as OMG-Oh My god and 102 Not Out, shares that he understands the fine difference between faith and blind belief. The director, who collaborated with superstars like Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, recently revealed that he used to be a priest and performed pooja at different houses. Director Umesh Shukla reveals he was a priest While talking to IANS, Shukla said, 'I come from such a Brahmin family, that till the time I graduated, I used to go to people's houses, and perform Satyanarayan pooja, Lakshmi pooja, Nishadiya and other poojas. I used to get it done, myself, as a Brahmin. I used to go, in a dhoti and kurta, and get it done. So, our ritual was there. And with regards to that, I used to ask a lot of questions to my father, and my grandfather, and in that, I used to see loopholes. So, that came in handy, while I was working on the script of OMG – Oh My God.' He further added, 'He further shared, 'The humour and satire in the film came out very well. And definitely, working with Paresh bhai, Akshay ji, Om Puri, Mithun ji, such towering personalities. Everyone was such a strong artist, with great chemistry. 'Rishi Kapoor refused to do workshops during '102 Not Out', Amitabh Bachchan agreed to do hence he did,' recalls director Umesh Shukla talking about the bond between the two actors

Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor were seen together in iconic movies like 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Kabhi Kabhie', 'Naseeb'. They had done '102 Not Out' together where they played father and son. In a recent interview, director Umesh Shukla has recalled some fun anecdotes which depict the bonding between the two actors. Umesh is known for directing movies like 'OMG: Oh My God', '102 Not Out' among others. During a podcast appearance, Shukla shared some behind-the-scenes stories and highlighted the duo's unwavering dedication to their craft. Calling the film an 'experimental' project, Umesh spoke about the unique dynamic of directing two veterans with contrasting approaches to acting. 'It was an experimental film we made with two yesteryear superstars who have different acting patterns – Rishiji believed in spontaneity, while Big B is a method actor,' he explained in an interview with 'Friday Talkies'. 'He is so perfect that you can never tell that he has done his homework; there is a lot to learn from them, especially if they came together. They had different levels of discipline, too.' One particular moment that stood out to the filmmaker was when Rishi Kapoor initially declined to participate in a preparatory workshop for the film. However, his stance changed as soon as he learned that Amitabh Bachchan was on board. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Las Cuadras: Ecuatorianos: generen un segundo ingreso con Amazon CFD. He said, 'We usually get the script and we act on it,' but when I told him that Mr Bachchan had agreed to do the workshop, he also agreed,' Umesh recalled. 'Chintuji had immense respect for Bachchan sahab. They have done so many films together, and the relationship I have seen between them was brilliant.' Umesh also shared an anecdote that reflected the actors' deep sense of discipline. Since both were portraying Gujarati characters, Shukla insisted that they not wear slippers on set to reflect cultural authenticity. 'I had said that when we act on the set, actors will not wear slippers because Gujaratis don't wear slippers at home,' he said. 'I used to keep the set very clean so that they wouldn't have any inconvenience. I used to tell both of them that they could wear slippers in close-up shots, but they were so disciplined that they wouldn't.'
