(Andrew Vaughan/THE CANADIAN PRESS) A 29-year-old woman faces multiple charges after allegedly stealing and using a victim's credit card last month, police say. On July 1, officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service's Division 2 Unit arrested the and charged accused following an investigation into a June 23 incident. Sault Ste. Marie Police Service) Police allege the woman entered the victim's vehicle and stole keys, a wallet containing identification, and bank cards. 'The accused then used one of the bank cards to make purchases of approximately $104 at two different stores,' police said in a news release. Through investigation authorities obtained an arrest warrant before locating and apprehending the suspect. The local woman is charged with theft of a credit card, two counts of possession and use of a credit card, and theft under $5,000. The accused released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8.
