
Northern Ont. woman facing charges after alleged credit card theft
A 29-year-old woman faces multiple charges after allegedly stealing and using a victim's credit card last month, police say.
On July 1, officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service's Division 2 Unit arrested the and charged accused following an investigation into a June 23 incident.

Police allege the woman entered the victim's vehicle and stole keys, a wallet containing identification, and bank cards.
'The accused then used one of the bank cards to make purchases of approximately $104 at two different stores,' police said in a news release.
Through investigation authorities obtained an arrest warrant before locating and apprehending the suspect.
The local woman is charged with theft of a credit card, two counts of possession and use of a credit card, and theft under $5,000.
The accused released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8.

Winnipeg police say four women sexually assaulted near HSC, investigators looking for suspect
Winnipeg police are looking for a suspect after investigators said four women were sexually assaulted near the Health Sciences Campus. Police said four incidents were reported between 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., three of which involved staff members at the hospital. The first involved a teenage girl near Elgin Avenue and Sherbrook Street. Police said she was walking when a man confronted her and she was sexually assaulted. Then at 7:12 p.m., an HSC employee was walking east of William Avenue near Furby Street. She too was confronted and sexually assaulted, police said. The last two incidents also involved staff and happened three minutes apart. The first happened in the hospital tunnels and the second was south on Emily Street from McDermot Avenue. Police said both women were sexually assaulted by an unknown man. Investigators are now looking for a man in his 20s who has a slim build with dark hair. He was wearing a Winnipeg Jets shirt and had jewelry on. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.

Woman, 4 children hurt after crash in Mississauga: police
A woman and four children are injured after a crash involving two vehicles in Mississauga on Thursday, Peel Regional Police say. The collision happened on Ninth Line and Candlelight Drive. Police say the driver of one vehicle may have fled on foot. Ninth Line is closed in both directions between Candlelight and Janice drives. Police said there is significant congestion in the area.
