Ben, now 23, underwent the hair transplant procedure when he was 22, a year prior to flying out to join the excitement of the Love Island villa, while Harry, currently 30, made the journey to Turkey for his own transplant at the age of 24. Ben's entrance onto the scene saw immediate drama as Toni, an American newcomer, chose him over his initial pairing with Shakira, leaving her scrambling to secure a new connection. Shakira quickly found common ground with Harry, who had initially coupled up with Sophie and leaving her abruptly sent packing on day two. Now Ben, has been reconnected with Shakira and Harry has moved on to a different villa girl in the way of Helena. However, those in the villa might struggle to recognise the boys from throwback snaps, given their transformational hair procedures. The clinic provided a six-month post-op update featuring Ben's increasingly denser and darker locks. Love Island's Ben Holbrough has been the talk of this week's show thanks to his icky situ with Toni (read: his ego is through the roof). More recently, however, it's not his coupling that has people online talking, but a number of TikTok and Instagram videos that reveal he underwent a hair transplant before entering the villa. Shocking, much? Well, you've not seen the transformative before and after pictures, yet... Last year, at just 22 years old, the taxi driver from Gloucester underwent the hair transplant procedure at 360 Hair Clinic in Brighton. The clinic has shared multiple clips on social media showcasing his transformation, including a video taken six months post-surgery, highlighting fuller, thicker, and healthier-looking hair. "We developed a full post-treatment plan tailored specifically for Ben, combining in-clinic treatments and our 360 Optimum Hair products to protect the newly transplanted follicles, minimise shedding and promote healthy, long-term growth," the clinic wrote to caption one of their posts. We're pleased to see that the procedure has increased Ben's confidence and self-love! That said, Ben isn't the only boy from this year's cast of Love Island to have had a hair transplant. Semi-pro footballer Harry Cooksley also underwent a transformation in Istanbul, Turkey, at just 24 years old. Harry has previously said that he underwent the "perfect experience". The increasing openness among male reality TV stars about cosmetic procedures reflects a broader societal shift towards destigmatising such treatments. Appearing in a YouTube video posted by the clinic he visited in Istanbul, Harry explained the process and showed off the before and after results. Love Island fans beg bosses to axe islander after cruel comment to one girl Ben has been causing a stirl in the villa after he ended things with Toni last night. Ben told Shakira he got the ick with Toni and Shakira let Toni know. Toni confronted Ben, asking: 'I've heard from people you said I'm giving you the ick?' It quickly turned sour and he told her: 'I don't feel like me and you have got that spark if I am being honest.' Looking taken aback she replied 'okay' as he continued: 'That is just me being honest but I know when I have got it with someone. 'That I feel it straight away. But yeah I don't feel like you and me have got it.' Toni snapped back: 'I mean I don't think that technique is going to work for you here.' He asked what she meant and she replied: 'Right away off the bat.' Smirking, he responded: 'You'd be surprised. I feel like sparks have already been made.'
