Pedestrian seriously hurt in Langley crash: police

Mounties in Langley say a pedestrian was seriously hurt in a vehicle crash Wednesday evening.
Police were called to the area of 208 Street and 44 Avenue just after 8 p.m., according to a news release from the detachment.
The Langley RCMP asked drivers to avoid the area as they investigated. Meanwhile, the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries police described as serious.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash camera video is asked to call the detachment at 604 -532-3200.
