Nicole Kidman wigs out with TWO different hairpieces for unrecognizable new shoot after recent mishap

Nicole Kidman looked nearly unrecognizable as she posed up a storm in two different wigs for her latest Allure interview which was published on Thursday. The Moulin Rouge actress, 57 - who recently broke her silence on wearing wigs - stunned as she appeared on the cover for the publication and discussed a number of topics, such as grief and aging. The star wowed in a reddish-orange wig that had bangs which fell down onto her forehead as well as strands that flowed down past her shoulders. Kidman donned a strapless, black Balenciaga top and high-waisted black leggings that clung to her frame. In other images snapped by photographer Dan Beleiu for the outlet, she also opted for a shorter red bob with bangs while wearing a purple Robert Cavalli dress. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. In other images for the outlet, she also opted for a shorter red bob with bangs while wearing a purple Robert Cavalli dress The ensemble contained a thigh-high slit on the left that offered a glimpse at the sleek purple heels Nicole additionally wore for the photo shoot. The Australian-born actress, still rocking her long fringe wig, later modeled a printed bandeau top from Schiaparelli and a matching miniskirt. Kidman slipped into a pair of closed-toed, black pumps and accessorized the look with dangly earrings and a chunky gold bracelet. It comes not long after the star suffered a wig mishap while making an appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival earlier this month. While walking the red carpet at glitzy events, she donned a blonde hairpiece - but the wig cap was visible and in another instance, the wig itself was off center. During an appearance on Channel Seven's Sunrise this week, Nicole opened up about opting for wigs. 'As you know, I love changing my hair,' the Big Little Lies star expressed, before bringing up the short pixie cut she chose for the 2025 Met Gala in NYC this month. While some fans initially believed that the star was simply unveiling her natural hair, it was soon revealed that it had also been a wig. 'For the Met Gala, everyone was questioning if I had chopped my hair off. But no, I didn't.' During her interview with Danielle Pergament for her new cover story for Allure for its May 2025 issue, Kidman reflected on getting older. When questioned if aging has been difficult, the actress candidly replied: 'Yes. I've always been a future person, and suddenly you go, "Oh." It's coming to terms with the idea that you have no control over the future.' She continued, 'Probably that's to do with losing people very, very suddenly. I have more time behind me than ahead. 'That shift in the ratio becomes a big thing…. You're just always going, "What is all this?" The existential questions. Who are we? Why are we here?"' The Oscar winner is preparing to celebrate her 58th birthday next month on June 20. Nicole also had a discussion about coping with grief following the passing of her mother last year in September. 'Losing my mother changed every part of me,' she admitted to the outlet, revealing that they would talk to each other multiple times a week. The star explained that her mother's death still feels 'so raw' and added she is still 'on the journey of grief, the year of magical thinking.' The beauty has children of her own and is mom to Sunday, 16, and Faith, 14, whom she shares with husband Keith Urban. During her past marriage to actor Tom Cruise, the former couple also adopted Bella, 32, and Connor, 30. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year, Kidman gave insight to her loved ones. 'My husband is a massive part of who I am, and my daughters. My daughters are huge, huge contributors to things in my life, and they open my eyes to things.' Nicole has been keeping busy and recently starred in the second season of the Hulu thriller series Nine Perfect Strangers, which she also executive produces. Other cast members in the new season - which began airing this week on Wednesday - include Henry Golding, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Murray Bartlett, Mark Strong and Lena Olin. The premise of the show is: 'Nine stressed city dwellers visit a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation. The resort's director is a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies,' per IMDB. During an interview with ABC's On The Red Carpet, the actress reflected on the latest season and her own character Masha. 'It's just such a rich story, which lends itself to many different reinventions, and Masha herself is a reinvention every time,' Kidman expressed. 'I'm in the middle of it all, but I get to shine a light on everybody else who's in it, and this time around, it was this extraordinary cast.' While season one took place in Los Angeles, the setting for season two has changed to the Austrian Alps. The second season of Nine Perfect Strangers consists of eight episodes - with the final set to release on Hulu on July 2.

Savings Guide: The current best rates to make the most of your cash

Why you can trust Sky News As we approach another Bank of England base rate decision next Thursday, the markets are expecting to see a cut from the Monetary Policy Committee, writes Anna Bowes, savings expert from The Private Office. So, ahead of that meeting, I thought I'd round up some of the most popular accounts and see how the top rates have fared recently. Easy access There is now more than £900bn in easy access savings accounts, according to the latest figures from the Bank of England. Much of this is likely to be earning a poor rate of interest, especially if it is languishing with the high street banks. There is also a staggering £301bn sitting in current accounts earning no interest at all. There are plenty of competitive rates available, paying more than inflation and even a few paying more than the base rate of 4.5%. But it's important to look beyond the headline rates as many of the top accounts have restricted access and/or short-term bonus rates. There have been small positive changes to leading accounts over the past month. At the beginning of April, the top rate available was 4.75% and the average across the top five accounts was 4.67%. Last week, the financial app Chip launched the Chip Easy Access Saver, which has gone to the top of the table, offering 4.76% AER. However, this account allows only three penalty-free withdrawals a year - any more and the rate drops to 2.1% for the rest of the year. In addition, it includes a 12-month bonus rate of 1.20%. There are plenty of straightforward accounts available too. The latest issue of Charter Savings Banks Easy Access Account (Issue 58) is paying 4.59% AER, with no bonus or restricted access. Easy access cash ISAs It's another positive story in the easy access best buy table, with two more accounts paying more than 5% AER. This means the top rates on offer are paying more than the non-ISA equivalents - even more of an incentive to make sure you use your cash ISA allowance - which remains at £20,000 this tax year, although this is under review. These two new accounts are available via financial app companies Plum and MoneyBox, paying 5.06% and 5.05% respectively. They are not banks in their own right, so your money is deposited with their partners CitiBank, in the case of Plum, and a split between Santander and HSBC if you opt for MoneyBox. Your cash is protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, assuming you don't hold £85,000 with these banks already. If you'd rather not use a financial app, Vida Savings has a Defined Access ISA Issue 1 paying 4.63% AER. This account can be opened online with a minimum of £100 but, as the name suggests, you are restricted on the amount of penalty-free withdrawals that can be made each year. Charter Savings Bank, which is also an online account, is paying 4.59% on its Easy Access Cash ISA Issue 57, but this allows you to make as many withdrawals as you like. Fixed-rate bonds Although some of the best buy fixed-term bond rates available have fallen a little in the past month, there are still plenty of inflation-busting accounts available. Now could be the time to fix given the base rate is expected to fall next month. At the beginning of April, you could have fixed for one year at 4.70% - today it's a little less at 4.65% AER. That's still higher than inflation, 2.6%, even if tax is deducted. The top rates for longer fixes have fallen but, again, only by a very small amount. You can still lock in for two years at 4.53%, three years at 4.55% and five years at 4.56%. Fixed-rate ISAs The drops have been a little harsher for fixed-rate ISAs. That said, you can still find accounts paying more than 4.20%. Two-year and five-year terms are both paying 4.30%, the top one-year cash ISA is paying 4.26%, and the top three-year ISA pays 4.20%. Although the top ISA rates look lower than the bond rates, if you pay tax on your savings, the net rate is likely to be lower. Example If you were to deduct the basic rate tax, 20%, from the LHV Bank one-year bond paying 4.65%, the post-tax rate is 3.72%. On a balance of £20,000, you would take home £744 from the bond, whereas you would take home £852 from the top one-year tax free ISA. If you are not a taxpayer or you are not yet fully using your personal savings allowance, then the ISA might not be the best choice.

Colombian court rules hit song ‘+57' violated the rights of children

A Colombian high court has ruled that the song "+57," a collaboration between urban music stars J Balvin and Karol G, violated the rights of children due to its lyrics, which the court deemed "sexualized" minors. The 14-page ruling orders Karol G, J Balvin, and other reggaeton artists involved in the song's creation to abstain from releasing music that infringes upon the rights of children and adolescents. The court stated that "sexualizing minors reduces them to becoming objects of desire and exposes them to risks that can affect their development." Upon its release in November, "+57" sparked controversy in Colombia, with child rights organizations immediately demanding its removal. The song also received negative reviews from music critics, with Rolling Stone's Spanish language website branding it a "disaster." The song, which is named after Colombia's telephone country code, talks about a young woman who goes partying "despite having an owner.' The woman, 'who has been a hot mama since she was 14,' enters a disco and begins to do shots. Karol G, whose real name is Carolina Giraldo, apologized for the song on her Instagram account last year, saying that the lyrics had been 'taken out of context' but also adding that she realized she had 'a lot to learn.' An apology also was issued by J Balvin, who is referred to in the court ruling by his real name of Jose Alvaro Osorio. After criticism of the song mounted, a new version of '+57' was published on YouTube in which the lyrics refer to a woman who has been a 'hot mama since she was 18." The song was recorded in Karol G's hometown of Medellin, a city that has become famous for nurturing several famous reggaeton singers. Medellin has become Colombia's main tourist destination, but it has also struggled to protect minors from sexual predators, who visit the city in search of young women.

Colombian court rules Karol G and J Balvin song violated rights of children

A high court in Colombia has ruled that the reggaeton song '+57' by urban music stars J Balvin and Karol G violated the rights of children because its lyrics 'sexualized' minors. In a 14-page ruling, the court ordered Karol G, J Balvin and several other reggaeton singers – including Feid, DFZM and Maluma - who helped to record the song last year to refrain from publishing music that violates the rights of children and teenagers. 'Sexualizing minors reduces them to becoming objects of desire, and exposes them to risks that can affect their development,' the court said. The song generated controversy in Colombia when it was released in November, with organizations that defend the rights of children quickly calling for its removal. '+57' is named after Colombia's telephone country code and talks about a young woman who goes partying "despite having an owner.' The woman, 'who has been a hot mama since she was 14' ("Mamacita desde los fourteen") enters a disco and begins to do shots. The song also refers to weed 'starting to work', passing 'the drinks mouth to mouth' and 'no room for your butt in the car.' Karol G, whose real name is Carolina Giraldo, apologized for the song on her Instagram account last year, saying that the lyrics had been 'taken out of context' but also adding that she realized she had 'a lot to learn.' 'As artists, we are exposed to public opinion, and to the individual interpretations of people who like us and people who differ with what we do,' read her apology. 'I feel a lot of frustration for the misinformation that has been given, about the false posts that I have supposedly made and deleted from twitter, an account that I have not used for more than six months. In this case, unfortunately, the lyrics of a song, with which I sought to celebrate the union between artists and put to shine my people … were taken out of context." She added: 'None of the things said in the song have the direction they have been given, nor was it said from that perspective but I listen, I take responsibility and I realize that I still have a lot to learn. I feel very affected and I apologize from the bottom of my heart.' Following the backlash and pressure from the Columbian Congree and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF), the lyric was changed to: "Mamacita desde los eighteen". The song was recorded in Karol G's hometown of Medellin, Colombia's main tourist destination and a city that has become famous for nurturing several famous reggaeton singers. However, Medellin has also struggled to protect minors from sexual predators, who visit the city in search of young women.
