A&K Sanctuary expands Egyptian fleet with Nile Seray
A&K Sanctuary next year will introduce a new ship, the Nile Seray, A&K's fifth in Egypt. The name "Seray" means palace, which captures "the essence of this floating sanctuary," A&K said. The ship will be able to accommodate 64 guests in 32 suites. Each suite will have a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling windows, a Juliet balcony and a large bathroom. Two suites have private balconies with outdoor spa pools. The ship will have two restaurants (including one outdoors) a spa, gym, top deck with canopied daybeds, swimming pool and outdoor bar. The wellness space onboard features two spa treatment rooms and a gym. The four-night itinerary will sail between Aswan and Luxor and visit the tombs of Nefertari, Seti I, Ramses VI and King Tutankhamun. The itinerary features a sailboat trip around Elephantine Island on a traditional, wind-powered felucca; an Egyptian cooking class; a costume party; and a hot air balloon ride. Egyptologists will be on every sailing. A&K began offering Nile cruises in 1977, when founder Geoffrey Kent was inspired after meeting actor David Niven on the set of "Death on the Nile." He leased the steamship SS Memnon to launch the company's first cruise.

These new A&K earphones are stunning, but promise to sound even better than they look
While there are plenty of top headphones to pick from, those with planar-magnetic drivers are revered as the cream of the crop. That's a lot of audiophile speak, I know. But these types of cans are known for better accuracy and a more open soundscape. And that's exactly what you can expect from Astell & Kern's new Luna earphones. They're as pretty as the name suggests, with a design inspired by the moon. But it's the promised sound from these 13mm drivers that really makes me do a double take. Read more: Best wireless earbuds in 2025 reviewed and rated A&K's Luna earphones are a single-driver, planar-magnetic number that have been crafted in Japan with the sort of obsessive attention to detail usually reserved for samurai swords and wagyu beef. These drivers aren't just regular planar-magnetic (which would be impressive enough), but rather a fancy new bit of tech called Katabiki. They've got a unipolar magnetic circuit and a diaphragm that's super thin. They're built to give you outrageous resolution and delicate, natural sound. The housing is made from titanium, so these earphones are super lightweight and extremely durable. Inside, the cable is a mix of silver-coated OCC and copper OCC. Each connector is finished in aluminium, to ensure the highest quality. Each set of Luna earphones comes boxed up with plenty of ear tip options. You get three sets of Baroque tips, three AET07s, and even a pair of foam ones in case you want to live dangerously. It all slips neatly into a posh Alcantara carry case. The Astell & Kern Luna earphones are available to order now through select stockists. They'll set you back $2700/£2699/€3049.

An Ultra-Luxe New Camp Is Coming To Utah's Red Rock Region
"Mesa Arch sunrise landscape in Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA" Known for its luxury safaris and immersive global adventures, Abercrombie & Kent is bringing its signature 'adventure by day, luxury by night' ethos to one of North America's most iconic landscapes with the launch of a new A&K Sanctuary, opening in 2027. Set at the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in Eastern Utah, the retreat will host just 40 guests across one-bedroom and two-bedroom standalone suites, designed for privacy and a connection to place. The indoor-outdoor flow and natural materials will nod to the surrounding landscape, while a central lodge with 360 canyon views will act as a gathering space. The new camp will also include spa offerings and wellness programming, designed for reflective, restorative stays. The new sancuarty will be a luxurious counterpoint to a region defined by raw beauty. Arches, established in 1929 and famed for Delicate Arch, includes over 2,000 natural stone formations, while Canyonlands is a sprawling, near-endless landscape of mesas, cliffs and winding rivers. Despite their popularity, true high-end accommodations near these popular parks remain scarce. Currently, the region's top stays include Sorrel River Ranch and the stylishly minimalist Ulum Moab; however, A&K's Sanctuary promises a deeper level of curation and intimacy. Guided hikes, scenic drives, rafting adventures and photography outings—all led by seasoned experts—will be on offer here, and the brand's signature high design promises to level up the luxe factor. Rates haven't been released, but given the brand's track record (and typical sky-high prices), exclusivity and comfort are a given. A&K Sanctuary's portfolio already spans 13 luxury camps in Africa and four riverboats on the Nile. Upcoming openings include the revamped Baines' Camp in Botswana and Uganda's Gorilla Forest Camp, plus the 2025 debut of Pure Amazon, a riverboat in Peru. Kitirua Plains Lodge in Kenya is on track for 2026, with new sites in Mexico, Bolivia and Australia under review. With the Moab project, A&K adds a new dimension to its collection, bringing its refined take on remote travel to a region that has long deserved it. In a place where nature provides the drama, this retreat will deliver serenity, style and soul.
