All Elite Wrestling Announces Date And New Location For AEW All Out 2025

AEW All Out is heading North. The 2025 event will mark the second time All Out will take place outside of Illinois. Five of the first six All Out events took place in Chicago and Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Jacksonville's Daily's Place hosted the 2020 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Advertisement This marks the second AEW pay-per-view at Scotiabank Arena, and the first time since AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2023. AEW has hosted various television events in Toronto (and across Canada since then), but this is the first AEW event in Canada since the March 20, 2024 episode of Dynamite taped at the Coca-Cola Coliseum. Despite being held in a new country, AEW All Out will remain a September event, as it has since 2020. However, it will no longer be hosted on Labor Day weekend. The move to late September also gives more room between All Out and the All In Texas, which is now being held in July rather than late August. When do AEW All Out tickets go on sale? The promotion, owned by Shahid and Tony Khan, has made Toronto a regular stop on its treks into Canada in recent years. In 2024, Canadians Adam (Cope) Copeland and Christian Cage squared off in a memorable match at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto. In 2023, Scotiabank Arena hosted Forbidden Door, one of the promotion's most successful events in its brief history. 'I can't wait for AEW to make our return,' Tony Khan told the Sun in an exclusive interview ahead of the announcement. 'That's going to be so exciting. It's the first-ever international AEW All Out pay-per-view. It's been one of the biggest pay-per-views in AEW traditionally. I'm so thrilled that we're doing it.' Khan also noted that this will mark the first time its All Out event will venture outside of Chicago, where it originated, since the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced it south to Florida. 'I think that bringing AEW All Out into a new market, Toronto in particular, is exciting,' Khan said. 'Forbidden Door was one of the best shows we've ever done,' Khan said. 'It was a great, great event. I really put that on my Mount Rushmore of the best shows we've ever done. It's going to be a high standard that we've set for ourselves in Toronto.' Khan recalled travelling to Toronto to watch wrestling while he was in college. 'Toronto is one of the greatest wrestling cities on the planet,' he said. 'When I was in college, I went on Spring Break to Toronto to watch wrestling. It's definitely one of my Top 4 wrestling cities on the planet.' Founded by Khan in 2019, AEW presents more than 100 live events a year around the world. The AEW roster also features several Canadians, including Cope and Christian Cage, as well as Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Evil Uno, Renee Paquette, Josh Alexander, Speedball Mike Bailey and main attractions such as Jon Moxley, Toni Storm, Mercedes Mone, The Hurt Syndicate and others. Matt Hardy Cautions Young Wrestlers Of Burning Bridges With Other Promotions On Social Media

TNA Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy urges Young Wrestlers to be cautious about burning bridges with other promotions. During his The Extreme Life With Matt Hardy podcast, he emphasized that wrestlers should focus on their own work and keep a positive attitude, rather than criticizing other promotions publicly. 'One thing I would say is learn how to not be overly opinionated when you're talking about other promotions. Learn how to shut the hell up and just worry about what you're doing, speak positively, and stop talking negatively about other places.' Advertisement The TNA star warned the young wrestlers that being overly opinionated could hurt future opportunities, especially if a wrestler ends up released. 'Because if you do get to that point where you do get released and you're gone, then you've kind of screwed yourself up from going somewhere else. Pro wrestling is a small world in the big scheme of things… don't burn bridges before you have an opportunity to go somewhere else just in case.' He also encouraged wrestlers to be smart about their use of social media instead of engaging in online negativity. 'If you're a wrestler, if you're a performer, be better than that, be smarter than that, and learn how to just talk about the things that are positive, the things that you like, and let your grievances go. The best thing you can possibly do is if there's something you don't like, just shut the hell up about it.' The group includes Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, and Marina Shafir. They came together at AEW All Out after turning on Bryan Danielson. Many fans are still unsure about their purpose and what they want to achieve in AEW, which Matt Hardy also agrees with. Advertisement Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Hardy spoke about the main event of AEW Dynasty and reiterated his comments from last week's show, where he believes the Death Riders faction has run its course. 'As I'd said last week before we ever got to the pay-per-view event… I feel it's one of those times where, you know, the Death Riders thing, it has pretty much run its course,' Matt Hardy said. 'I love Jon Moxley [and] I think in many ways, Jon Moxley is the heart and soul of AEW; I think he busts his ass for AEW. 'He takes these crazy risks and he puts it on the line for AEW week in and week out, no doubt, but I think it is time to go a different direction and try and start something new that could possibly catch fire. AEW really, really, really needs something to get hot and catch fire to kind of get their momentum back, I think so. I don't necessarily understand their whole mission at AEW, what are they trying to accomplish?'
