ALSAYER Group's sponsorship powers the success of the inaugural West Asian Laser Run Championship in Kuwait
KUWAIT CITY, May 26: ALSAYER Group is proud to have supported and sponsored the 2025 West Asian Laser Run Championship, held at Sheikh Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium in Al-Nasr Sports Club, Kuwait. The event concluded with great success for the host nation, as Kuwait won 7 medals across various age categories. This inaugural West Asian Laser Run Championship was the first official competition of its kind in Kuwait, held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs. His generous support played a vital role in making this championship a landmark moment for the region's modern pentathlon movement. Organized by the West Asian Modern Pentathlon Confederation (WAMPC) in partnership with the Kuwait Modern Pentathlon Federation, the championship brought together 66 male and female athletes from seven countries: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, Iraq, and Kuwait. Across the event, 11 competitions were held, and 33 medals were awarded to the top performers. The event was driven by the dedication of over 30 young volunteers, including founding members of the club and federation, demonstrating the strong leadership and community commitment of Kuwait's youth. Distinguished attendees included WAMPC President Hussein Al-Abdulwahab, Vice President Nasser Al-Waleed, and ALSAYER Group delegates: Ibrahim Al Fouzan, Senior Business Director and Vice Chairman of the Sustainability Committee, Abdulaziz AshurSaid Kiradoh, Group Chief Financial Officer, Nehad Al-Haj Ali, Group Manager, Corporate Excellence, and the Corporate Excellence Team. ALSAYER celebrates the successful conclusion of the GR Yaris Cup Kuwait Season 2
KUWAIT CITY, May 21: Mohamed Naser Al Sayer & Sons Est. Co. W.L.L proudly announces the successful conclusion of the second season of the GR Yaris Cup Kuwait, a groundbreaking sporting event that has significantly advanced motorsport in the region. Launched in 2023 as the Middle East's first FIA-certified racing series dedicated to the iconic Toyota GR Yaris. This season marked a notable milestone featuring the first-ever GR Yaris Regional Cup between Kuwait and Qatar, in cooperation with Al Abdulghani Motors. The Kuwaiti team clinched the inaugural Gulf Championship title amidst fierce competition, highlighting Kuwait's rising prominence in regional motorsports. GR Yaris Cup Kuwait, organized by ALSAYER, reaffirmed Toyota's dedication to inspiring motorsport excellence in the region, strengthening regional relationships, and engaging local youth through exciting and safe racing initiatives. This partnership underscores the Group's commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills among young innovators. The Kuwait National Robotics Competition invited students from across the country to showcase their digital creativity and innovations through robotics challenges to design, program and manage robots that can solve real-life problems. This prestigious award ceremony in presence of H.E, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information, Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, has shared the platform with Mubarak Naser Al-Sayer, CEO-ALSAYER Group, Dr. Dina Al-Mailam, Director of Kuwait University along with the dignitaries, professors and a large crowd fascinated to support the digital growth of Kuwaiti youth. This year four teams from the Kuwait National Robotics Competition are qualified to represent the VEX Robotics World Championship in Texas, USA, in April 2025. They are, Superheroes from Al-Adailiya School (Elementary level), ABS Team A from American Baccalaureate School (Middle school level), Robotech from Salah Al-Din School (High school level), and Autovortex from Bucharest University of Economic Studies (University level).
