Suniel Shetty returns for ‘Hunter' season 2, Jackie Shroff joins the cast

'Season 1 was special. It had the thrill of discovery – of this world and of Vikram's journey. The audience saw him running from his past while trying to uphold justice. But in Season 2, that past catches up in the most unimaginable way. Vikram is pushed to his breaking point. He's a father on a mission, with nothing left to lose. This chapter took a lot out of me, and I think that truth will hit hard on screen,' Shetty said in a statement. The show revolves around Shetty's Sinha going against the crime world to save his daughter. In season two, Sinha 'gets pulled into a new maze that is far more twisted faced against a villain who is charming, unflinching, and impossible to read.' according to a press release. New Delhi, Jul 10 (PTI) Actor Suniel Shetty is all set to return as ACP Vikram Sinha in the second season of Amazon MX Player series 'Hunter', which just released a teaser. Shroff and Shetty are friends in real life and have worked together on movies such as 'Border', 'Hulchul', 'Apna Sapna Money Money', 'Aan' and many others. Shroff, who plays the negative character of the Salesman, said he was hooked when the role was offered to him. 'He's layered, smooth, calculated, and you never quite know what he's thinking. It was the kind of character that gives you a lot of room to play with. Season 2 packs a solid punch, but it's also deeply rooted in emotions. Sharing the screen with Anna (Shetty) again, but this time on opposite sides, was a treat. Hope our bhidus (friends) who watch us enjoy this battle of minds and morals,' Shroff said. Directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, the crime thriller is produced by Yoodlee Films. 'Hunter' season two also stars Anusha Dandekar and Barkha Bisht and will soon premiere on Amazon MX Player. Hunar Hali Gandhi on teaching Sanskrit to her young co-star Aan Tiwari on the sets of Veer Hanuman; says ‘It isn't an easy language, but he's always eager to learn'

Veer Hanuman continues to capture hearts with its divine storytelling and impactful performances. While the epic unfolds powerfully on-screen, it's the off-screen camaraderie that's equally heartwarming. Actress Hunar Hali Gandhi, who recently joined the mythological series as Kaikeyi, has embraced a unique off-screen role — mentoring her young co-star Aan Tiwari, who plays the young Lord Hanuman, in Sanskrit. Known for her affinity for Sanskrit, Hunar helps Aan with challenging pronunciations and explains the deeper meanings of verses. She ensures he not only delivers his dialogues fluently but also comprehends the spiritual and emotional depth of his character. Their learning moments between takes are a mix of fun, discovery, and dedication. Speaking about their bond, Hunar shares, 'I've always loved Sanskrit, and although it isn't an easy language, especially for someone of Aan's age, what's encouraging is he's always eager to learn. Aan is an incredibly sincere and curious child.' She adds, 'Watching him put in so much effort makes me want to pitch in and help him. We've developed a sweet little routine where I quiz him on meanings or help break down lines — it's turned into something we both look forward to.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy One, Get One Free, Up To 50% Discount, Expiring Soon Original Adidas Get Offer Undo For Hunar, the show has become even more special through this newfound connection. Today, the world of entertainment knows no boundaries. Back in the day, regional films and Hindi films were limited to a certain area or a continent; however, now, when a film hits the theatres, it travels across all the continents. But now today with the foreign landscape coming into the picture, the box office market has become quite vast; therefore, international release today is no longer considered exceptional. But this wasn't always the case. Back in the day, earning global recognition wasn't the norm, and it was considered a big deal if a Hindi film hit the Western cinema. This defining moment for Indian cinema happened in the year 1952, when India's first film was released in multiple countries worldwide. Unlike the usual assumption, the trendsetter for this wasn't the mainstream stars like Vinod Khanna or Amitabh Bachchan, but rather it was legendary actor Dilip Kumar's film that received international attention. The name of the film was 'Aan' and it featured Dilip Kumar and Nimmi in the lead roles. This blockbuster film captivated the hearts of the audience with its gripping storyline, impeccable performance of the star cast, and, of course, for its massive scale of release. The film was released in 28 countries with subtitles in 17 different languages. At that time, 'worldwide concept' was an alien concept; however, Aan started this trend and captured the International market with a storm. The film was directed by Mehboob Khan, which not only garnered significant international appreciation but also hit gold at the box office with overseas profits. In today's world, where global premieres and international box office collections are the new normal, Aan achieved a feat that was nothing short of extraordinary.
