Malavika Jayaram on staying away from films - 'marriage was not the reason'; calls father-son duo a ‘Special Magic'

Speaking at the muhurat pooja ceremony of her father's upcoming film 'Aashakal Aayiram', where Jayaram and Kalidas will share screen space after a long gap, Malavika candidly addressed questions about her absence from cinema. 'not because of marriage' Malavika made it clear that marriage was never the reason behind her decision to stay away from acting. 'I have never thought about acting in films. It's not because I got married that I didn't act. Even before marriage, I never entered films. So, after marriage too, I haven't thought of it that way,' she said.
