President Sisi checks on injured Imam following Eid Al-Adha prayer, orders immediate treatment
President Abdel Fatah El Sisi CAIRO – June 7, 2025: In a generous humanitarian gesture, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi personally checked on an imam who appeared to be injured while attending Eid Al-Adha prayers at the Grand Mosque of Egypt (Masjid Misr) in the New Administrative Capital. The President noticed the imam's foot injury as he stood to greet him and immediately directed a member of his office to ensure the imam received prompt medical attention. The President's office contacted the imam shortly afterward to initiate treatment procedures without delay. Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to President Sisi for the compassionate act. He emphasized that this gesture reflects the President's broader commitment to the well-being of religious leaders and his ongoing support for the Ministry of Endowments and the Egyptian people across all sectors.

OPEN//President Sisi honors families of Armed Forces' martyrs, injured personnel
CAIRO, March 31 (MENA) - President Abdel Fatah El Sisi honored on Monday a number of families of the Armed Forces' martyrs and injured personnel. The honoring process took place in a ceremony marking Eid El-Fitr at Al Manara International Conference Center. The president was keen to pose for photo with children and sons of martyrs to share their celebrations on Eid. Presidential spokesman Mohamed El Shennawy said a documentary was screened during the event on Eid celebrations which included songs by a number of singers. Earlier in the day, President Sisi performed Eid al-Fitr Prayers at Mushir Tantawi Mosque in the Fifth Settlement in New Cairo. The religious event was attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Defense Abdel Meguid Saqr, Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Awqaf Osama El Azhari, along with a host of senior state officials. OPEN// Rallies held by millions of Egyptians affirm rejection of displacement of Palestinians
CAIRO, March 31 (MENA) - Leaders of a number of Egyptian political parties said that rallies held by millions of Egyptians following Eid El-Fitr prayers on Monday affirmed that the Egyptians support President Abdel Fatah El Sisi in rejecting the displacement of the Palestinians. In statements to MENA, the party leaders said the Egyptian state is exerting strenuous efforts to mitigate the suffering of the Palestinians either through the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip or working on reaching a peaceful solution to the Palestinian problem. They said that Egypt will remain a strong supporter for the Palestinian people until they gain their rights in establishing an independent Palestinian state. The politicians said that Egypt will not accept any threat to its security or to the stability of its sisterly countries. The party leaders pointed out that Egypt's stance remains firm on the importance of reaching a just and durable solution to the Palestinian problem and establishing an independent state with Al Quds (East Jerusalem) as its capital.
