Is Archana Puran Singh-Parmeet Sethi's marriage in trouble? She responds
It has been over 30 years since Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi got married to each other. Now, Archana has finally spoken out about the swirling rumours surrounding marital troubles with her husband, putting speculation to rest with her words. Also read: Archana Puran Singh on hiding her marriage for four years: 'Parmeet Sethi didn't want marriage to affect my career' The actor addressed the rumours in her latest vlog on YouTube with her family. In the middle of the video, Archana spoke about a fan's concern about her relationship with Parmeet. With a lighthearted tone, she clarified that their videos don't showcase real fights, debunking speculation about marital troubles. She said, 'Someone left a long comment saying that they noticed some tension between us. They said that we're such a lovely couple and that they would be heartbroken if something were wrong in our relationship. Let me clear the air, we argue with each other and we discuss issues, but there's no tension between us... A little violence is okay.' The video features Archana and Parmeet taking their sons, Aayushmaan and Aaryamann, on a fun-filled burger-tasting adventure across Mumbai, exploring the city's top burger spots. At one point, Aaryamann spoke about one of his father's old films, which left him traumatised. He said, 'He lights someone on fire in that movie. He is smoking a cigarette, which he flicks onto that guy, and he's already covered in kerosene'. To which, Archana added, 'What kind of roles have you done? Which movie is this? I haven't seen 90% of his films'. Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet first met at a party. While Parmeet was attracted to Archana for her beauty and transparent nature, it was his own contrasting personality -- being both soft and stern which drew Archana in. The two were in a live-in relationship for around four years. They got married on June 30, 1992. They are now parents to two sons, Ayushmaan Sethi and Aaryamann Sethi. On the work front, Archana was last seen in the film Nadaaniyan, which faced criticism from audiences. She will next appear in the Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show, which will return with a new season this year. Meanwhile, Parmeet was set to feature in the film Abir Gulal, which marked Fawad Khan's Bollywood comeback. However, following the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, the film's release has been stalled in India.

Vivek Agnihotri sounds alarm over Donald Trump's 100% movie tariff: India's struggling film industry will COLLAPSE
US President Donald Trump has stirred global outrage with a bold new move that could shake up the international film industry. On Monday, Trump announced a sweeping 100 per cent tariff on all foreign-made movies, claiming that America's film sector is 'dying a very fast death'. Trump's new policy didn't sit well with Indian filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri . He wasted no time in calling out the decision on X (formerly Twitter), warning that it could spell doom for Indian cinema . Agnihotri hits back: Disastrous move He posted, 'ALERT: Trump's 100% Movie Tariff Threatens Indian Cinema: Trump's 100% tariff on movies is a disastrous move. If this absurdity prevails, India's struggling film industry will collapse entirely, with no one to save it.' He also criticised the Indian film community for being too caught up in glamour and fame, saying, 'Indian film leaders must wake up, unite, and fight this threat instead of chasing paparazzi and self-glorification.' Trump took to his social media platform 'Industry in America is dying a very fast death. Other countries are offering all sorts of movie incentives to draw our filmmakers and studios away from the United States. Hollywood and many other areas within the USA are being devastated. This is a concerted effort by other nations and, therefore, a national security threat.' He added, 'It is, in addition to everything else, messaging and propaganda! Therefore, I am authorising the Department of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative to immediately begin the process of instituting a 100 per cent tariff on any and all movies coming into our country that are produced in foreign lands. We want movies made in America again.' Reportedly, during a White House briefing on Sunday, Trump blamed California Governor Gavin Newsom for Hollywood's decline in recent years. He accused other nations of "stealing" America's films and filmmaking talent, further asserting that this was contributing to the downfall of the US movie industry. India blocks Instagram account of Pakistani singer Abida Parveen amid tension over Pahalgam attack
The Instagram account of Pakistani singer Abida Parveen has been blocked in India amid tensions between the two nations over the Pahalgam terror attack. The move came days after the Instagram accounts of several Pakistani actors were blocked. The message from Instagram on Parveen's account reads, "Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content." In the aftermath of the deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam that left 26 people dead, the central government blocked the Instagram accounts of several Pakistani actors, including Hania Amir, Ali Zafar and Mahira Khan. On Sunday, the X accounts of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and ex-minister Bilawal Bhutto were blocked in India. Both their accounts had been withheld "in response to a legal demand". Last week, the Centre also announced a ban on 16 Pakistani YouTube channels for their provocative and communally sensitive content and misinformation against India. The banned platforms included YouTube channels of major news outlets like Geo News, Dawn, Raftar, Bol News, ARY News, Samaa TV, Suno News. Additionally, YouTube channels of well-known journalists, including Muneeb Farooq, Umar Cheema, Asma Shirazi, and Irshad Bhatti, had been blocked. Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's comeback Bollywood film 'Abir Gulal' was also not released in India. Fawad Khan was last seen in the Anushka Sharma-Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. Since the terror attack on an Indian Army base took place in Uri in September 2016, no Pakistani actors have worked in the Indian film industry.

Fawad Khan, Vaani Kapoor-starrer Abir Gulaal should release, says Prakash Raj: ‘Freedom for audience should be there'
Fawad Khan was all set to make his Bollywood comeback with Abir Gulaal, which was supposed to release in theatres on May 9. However, after the Pahalgam terror attack in April, the film faced backlash, and government sources told PTI that the movie would not be allowed to release in India. Now actor Prakash Raj has commented on the stay of the release of the film, saying that he does not support the ban of any film, whether it's right-wing or a propaganda movie. (Also read: Vaani Kapoor's all posts on Abir Gulal, co-star Fawad Khan disappear from Instagram after Pahalgam terror attack) During a recent interview with The Lallantop, Prakash said, 'I'm not for any banning of films, whether it's right-wing or a propaganda film. Let people decide. People have the right. You can't ban films, unless it's pornography or about child abuse. But thought process? So what? Let them come, no!' He went on to add, 'Today, anybody can get hurt. 'I'll cut the nose of Deepika Padukone! I'll behead her!' Useey kya hoga (what effect would that have)?. Shah Rukh Khan… just because of a colour? Besharam rang na… they can make a hue and cry about anything they want and the present power are letting that happen, to create a fear in the society.' Prakash was referring to the controversy which erupted ahead of the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, where there were many calls for boycotting the film and threats on Deepika were also made. The second reference was on the display of an orange bikini in the song Besharam Rang in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. Abir Gulal, a romantic drama helmed by Aarti S. Bagdi and produced by Vivek Agrawal, was scheduled to release in India on 9 May. However, following the attack in Pahalgam and rising political tension between Pakistan and India, government sources told PTI, 'The movie Abir Gulaal, starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, will not be allowed to release in India.' Meanwhile, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) reiterated its directive to ban Pakistani artists. They called for a complete non-cooperation with all Pakistani artists, singers, and technicians within the Indian film and entertainment industry.
