Zionist enemy escalates its attacks in conjunction with what it calls "humanitarian truce"
Gaza - Saba: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed on Tuesday that the Zionist enemy is escalating its brutal attacks in conjunction with what it calls a "humanitarian truce," in a blatant attempt to mislead international public opinion. Hamas said in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the criminal Zionist enemy's continued barbaric and systematic bombing of civilian homes and displaced persons' tents in the Gaza Strip reveals the extent of the organized criminality practiced by the enemy army as part of the crime of genocide targeting the Palestinian people. It indicated that the enemy committed horrific massacres against entire Palestinian families last night, including the complete extermination of the Abu Ataya, Siyam, Abu Nabhan, and Al-Lahham families, and their erasure from the civil registry. It stated that this brutal escalation coincides with what the Zionist enemy calls a "humanitarian truce," in a blatant attempt to mislead international public opinion, while continuing its crimes of mass murder, starvation, and depriving the population of the most basic necessities of life, in blatant defiance of international will and all calls for an end to the aggression. Hamas called on the international community, the United Nations, and all peoples of the world to intensify action and exert effective pressure to halt the genocide and starvation policy that the war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, Netanyahu, insists on implementing, in flagrant violation of all humanitarian values and international laws. Gaza death toll tops 60,000 as Israel levels homes in Nuseirat camp
Israel killed dozens of Palestinian children and women in renewed heavy bombing in central Gaza on Tuesday, as the death toll from the ongoing war surpassed 60,000. Fighter jets carried out a series of strikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp, levelling several residential buildings and killing approximately 40 people, including 14 women and 12 children, according to local media reports. The targeted homes were said to belong to the Abu Ataya, Siam and Abu Nabhan families. Emergency teams reported that the scale of destruction has made it difficult to determine an exact death toll. The nearby al-Awda Hospital said that many of the bodies arrived severely dismembered. Local sources stated that three families were effectively wiped out from the civil registry in what they described as a 'massacre'. Air strikes also targeted various other locations across the Gaza Strip, including areas previously designated by Israel as 'humanitarian zones'. Al-Mawasi Field Hospital announced that four civilians were killed and 14 others wounded following an Israeli strike in al-Mawasi, an area in southern Gaza labelled a 'safe zone' by Israeli authorities. By midday, the Palestinian health ministry reported that at least 112 people had been killed in the preceding 24 hours, with a further 637 wounded. This has brought the death toll from the Israeli war on Gaza since October 2023 to at least 60,034, including at least 17,000 children. The number of wounded exceeds 145,000, according to the ministry. Starvation and genocide The latest wave of heavy bombardment comes amid growing international scrutiny of Israel's actions in the blockaded Gaza Strip. Israel has faced criticism over the starvation, killing and displacement of the territory's population of more than two million. Two prominent Israeli human rights organisations on Monday accused the Israeli government of committing acts of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. B'Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights–Israel (PHRI) each released separate reports, alleging that Israel's conduct in Gaza constitutes genocidal acts and incitement to genocide. 'Worst-case scenario of famine unfolding in Gaza,' declares global hunger monitor Read More » In its report, B'Tselem examined Israel's policies in Gaza and statements made by senior Israeli politicians and military commanders on its goals in the enclave. It led the group to 'the unequivocal conclusion that Israel is taking coordinated action to intentionally destroy Palestinian society in the Gaza Strip'. Meanwhile, PHRI's report presented a detailed legal analysis of Israel's war on Gaza, focusing on the dismantling of Gaza's healthcare system. It stated that Israel's aggression meets the criteria for genocide under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, to which Israel is a signatory. The world's leading hunger monitoring system on Tuesday issued a warning that the 'worst-case scenario of famine' is unfolding in Gaza due to the Israeli-imposed starvation. 'Latest data indicates that famine thresholds have been reached for food consumption in most of the Gaza Strip and for acute malnutrition in Gaza City,' the UN-backed Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) said in a new report. 'Amid relentless conflict, mass displacement, severely restricted humanitarian access, and the collapse of essential services, including healthcare, the crisis has reached an alarming and deadly turning point.' The warning comes as at least 147 Palestinians, including 88 children, have died from starvation since Israel's war on Gaza began.

Palestinian Resistance Committees Commemorate 19th Anniversary of Heroic 'Operation Dispelled Illusion'
Gaza – SABA: The Palestinian Resistance Committees commemorated on Wednesday the 19th anniversary of the heroic 'Operation Dispelled Illusion,' carried out jointly by Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, Al-Qassam Brigades (military wing of Hamas), and the Army of Islam. The operation came as a direct response to the assassination of the prominent resistance leader and founder of the committees, martyr Jamal Abu Samhadana (Abu Ataya). In a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the committees said that 'Operation Dispelled Illusion' marked a humiliating defeat for the Zionist enemy and opened the door to a major intelligence and security war, which led to the capture of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit from inside his tank and the killing of several Israeli soldiers at the Kerem Shalom military site east of Rafah. They added that the blessed 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation on October 7, which humiliated the Zionist entity, is a natural extension of 'Operation Dispelled Illusion' and the subsequent painful blows dealt to Israeli intelligence agencies—demonstrating the superiority of the Palestinian resistance's strategic capabilities. These efforts culminated in the 'Wafa al-Ahrar' prisoner swap deal, which secured the release of over 1,000 Palestinian male and female prisoners against the will of the occupying Zionist regime. On this occasion, the committees paid tribute to the souls of the martyred commanders: Mohammed Deif, Ahmed Al-Jaabari, Kamal Al-Nairab, Raed Al-Attar, Imad Hamad, Mohammed Abu Shamala, Marwan Issa, Hisham Abu Nasira, and the great martyr of the nation, Ismail Haniyeh. They also saluted the heroic martyrs who executed the operation—Hamed Al-Rantisi and Mohammed Farwana—and all the brave martyrs who contributed to its success and the prisoner swap deal that followed. Special recognition was given to the members of the 'Shadow Unit' for safeguarding Shalit for over five years. The committees reaffirmed that the Palestinian resistance, through its various valiant military wings and factions, remains steadfast in its relentless efforts until the liberation of all Palestinian prisoners who endure the oppression of the Zionist jailers in what they described as 'graves of death' known as Zionist prisons. Hamas, Israeli Occupation reach deal on captive remains exchange
"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office confirmed an agreement with mediators to recover the bodies of four "Israeli" captives held in Gaza. A spokesperson for Netanyahu announced the deal but provided no further details. Meanwhile, Hamas stated that "the timing of the exchange of Israeli remains and Palestinian prisoners will be announced in due course." Two Palestinian sources told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that Hamas would return the bodies on Thursday in exchange for the Israeli Occupation releasing over 600 Palestinian political prisoners. One source said mediators informed Hamas that the exchange would begin that day, with resistance factions handing over the remains while "Israel" frees 625 Palestinian detainees. Al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades announced it would return one "Israeli" captive's body on Thursday as part of Hamas's broader efforts. A spokesperson, known as Abu Ataya, confirmed the group's decision to release the remains of Ohad Yahalomi and urged mediators to ensure "Israel" abides by the agreement. 'The Palestinian factions' commitment to this deal reflects their dedication to their obligations and to the welfare of our people and prisoners,' Abu Ataya said. Hamas indicated that the transfer will take place discreetly through the Karam Abu Salem crossing into Egypt, avoiding official ceremonies to prevent Israeli Occupation interference.
