Tata Motors has launched the Adventure X Persona for its flagship SUVs, the Harrier and the Safari. The latest addition to the line-up is aimed at offering a more capable and feature-rich option for customers seeking a balance of off-road capability. Priced at ₹ 18.99 lakh for the Harrier and ₹ 19.99 lakh for the Safari (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the Adventure X variants sit in the mid-to-premium tier of Tata's SUV range. The company has positioned this new persona as part of a broader portfolio update that includes revised trims, updated features, and additional colour options. The Adventure X variant comes equipped with several features that were previously not available at this price point in the segment. These include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with Adaptive Cruise Control (automatic variants only), a 360-degree HD Surround View system, and Trail Hold Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold. Off-road functionality is enhanced by Trail Response Modes (Normal, Rough, Wet) and a Command Shifter derived from Land Rover for the automatic versions. Additional features include a 26.03 cm twin-screen system, Ergo Lux driver seat with memory and welcome function, Trail Sense Auto Headlamps, Aqua Sense Wipers, and multiple drive modes: City, Sport, and Eco. Built on the OMEGARC platform derived from Land Rover's D8 architecture, both the Harrier and Safari Adventure X variants are powered by the 2.0L KRYOTEC diesel engine. While the Harrier is equipped with R17 Titan Forged Alloys and black Onyx Trail interiors, the Safari variant features R18 Apex Forged Alloys and tan leatherette interiors, labelled as Adventure Oak. As part of the updated range, Tata Motors has also introduced a new 'Pure X' persona. This entry-level variant in the revamped structure is aimed at offering improved value, sitting just below the Adventure X. The Harrier Adventure X has been treated with some robust elements, making it better than before. It features 17-inch Titan forged alloy wheels, enhancing its overall road presence. When it comes to the Safari, it has been treated with 18-inch Apex forged alloys, which somehow put extra feathers to its cap. The company has introduced both models in new colour options, allowing customers to have more options to choose from. Interior Talking about the interior, the Harrier Adventure X offers Onyx Trail cabin, featuring black leatherette seats with tan accents, while the Safari gets Adventure Oak interiors with tan oak-inspired leatherette upholstery. As far as the features as concerned, the Adventure X gets ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, 360-degree camera, dual 10.25-inch screens, automatic headlamps, driver seat with memory and welcome function, rain-sensing wipers and whatnot. Any Udpdate Under Hood? Apart from this, the SUVs also get three Trail Response Modes that include normal, rough, and Wet, along with three drive modes – City, Sport, and Eco. Under the hood, nothing has changed in either of the SUVs. Tata Motors have announced a rugged, premium offering, in the form of the Adventure X Persona to its flagship SUVs- the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari, aimed at adventure-loving users. The Harrier Adventure X and Safari Adventure X+ available in prices of 18.99 lakh and 19.99 lakh: ex-showroom (depending on the model) bring the power of styling, All-terrain drive and features bundled into one package. The two models also carry premium technology such as ADAS with Adaptive Cruise Control, a 360 0 HD Surround View system, Trail Hold EPB and Auto Hold and there is also a variety of Trail Response Modes (Normal, Rough, Wet). Other features have been Land Rover-derived Command Shifter (AT), Ergo Lux Driver Seat with memory and welcome function, a 26.03 cm Ultra-View Twin Screen system, Trail Sense Auto Headlamps, Aqua Sense Wipers and Multi Drive Modes (City, Sport, Eco). Both the SUVs use the tried and tested Tata OMEGARC platform (based on Land Rovers D8) and share the same engine in the form of the robust 2.0L KRYOTEC diesel engine. R17 Titan Forged Alloys and Onyx Trail interiors will be included in the Harrier placements and the Safari will have larger R18 Apex Forged Alloys and Adventure Oak Interiors. Besides the launch of the Adventure X, Tata Motors has also revamped the whole Harrier and Safari line brands giving them new personalities and color palettes to make the buying experience feel more personal. Value offerings are also improved by the new Pure X persona. The reservations have already begun, and the initial rates will last until October 31, 2025.
