A new 60-minute documentary, titled Adventures in Making Superman, will give fans a glimpse into what went on behind the scenes of the blockbuster superhero film. To give a peek into what to expect from the special release, James Gunn, who is also the co-head of DC, posted a nearly seven-minute-long clip on his Instagram account on Friday. The clip featured the filming of the movie's emotional climax when Superman gives Lex Luthor a speech on his flaws and humanity. It opened with James and the crew alongside the lead actor, gearing up to shoot the scene. Initially, David was seen giving his speech, telling Lex, played by Nicholas Hoult, the exact things that were written in the script. But then, at one point, he explained to the director that he couldn't connect to the lines and wasn't feeling the exact intensity of the lines. James tried to explain the situation to him, but the actor remained unconvinced. That's when he decided to meet the director and have a one-on-one conversation. Despite being the writer and director of Superman, James was open to discussing the actor's perspective on the lines. David, at one point, also said that being in the theatre has taught him to question everything, which sometimes pisses people off. But that wasn't the case with James.
