Since being crowned the winner of Big Brother Mzansi Season 5, Sweet Guluva has carved out an impressive path in the entertainment industry. The KwaZulu-Natal native has been on a steady rise, securing the bag through brand collaborations and public appearances, all while staying true to his roots. Now, the charismatic star is using his platform to uplift and inspire, partnering with All Gold in an exciting initiative aimed at encouraging South African youth to dream big and persevere. The All Gold School Tour, part of the widely celebrated All Gold Dance Challenge, recently made a special stop at Mgazi Secondary School in Nquthu. Sweet Guluva joined fellow ambassador Somizi Mhlongo on the school tour, where they motivated and empowered young people. The 23-year-old opened up about his journey with All Gold and why this campaign is so close to his heart. 'Wow, what a wow! God is working, and God is aligning. All Gold has always been a part of my life, so receiving that call felt like a full-circle moment.' Sweet Guluva believes the collaboration is a perfect match. 'I've stayed original throughout my journey. I am a traditional man, and I know the All Gold brand is about heritage, quality, and authenticity – values I also live by.' He believes initiatives like All Gold are essential in inspiring hope and self-belief in young people. 'By going from school to school, we're showing learners that their dreams are valid and achievable. It's about planting the belief that they have the power to shape their own future – and that giving up should never be an option,' he said. When asked what message he wants young people to get from representing All Gold, he said: 'I want them to know that it's possible. Whatever you desire or dream of, God will provide. He might be R2 million richer, but he'll never forget his humble roots. Akhonamathemba Zwane, affectionately known as Sweet Guluva to his beloved fanbase across the country, is still riding the high of his Big Brother Mzansi season five win. However, he explains, 'I don't see it as a responsibility. People follow what they feel is genuine and real. That's what truly connects.' Towards the beginning of May 2025, the young star issued a statement through his team confirming the loss of his sister, Lwazi Zwane. Sweet Guluva describes the relationship he had with his sister to us as 'very tight', but he is also adamant about maintaining his privacy through such life events as well as with his relationship with fellow housemate Ashley Ogle, which he says is also 'very tight now.' While Sweet Guluva is cagey about any details around his love life and upcoming projects, he tells us to keep our eyes on his social media. 'All will be shared on social media if there's anything, but for now we're still trying,' he says.

Since leaving the Big Brother house as winner of season 5, Sweet Guluva has been one of the most sought-after personalities. Many brands and celebrities have been associating themselves with the reality star. Now Sweet Guluva has partnered with All Gold in an initiative aimed at inspiring young people. Sweet Guluva attributes his attractiveness to brands to staying true to himself. His authenticity has paid off, he says. 'I've stayed original throughout my journey. I've been true to myself. I am a traditional man and I know the All Gold brand is about heritage, quality and authenticity — values I live by. 'People follow what they feel is genuine and real. That's what connects. All Gold has always been a part of my life, so receiving that call felt like a full-circle moment because it was something true to me. Last week, Sweet Guluva, with the other brand ambassadors including Somizi Mhlongo, visited Thembisa before moving on to Mgazi Secondary School in KwaZulu-Natal. Speaking about why inspiring young people is important to him, he said he wanted them to know they hold the tiller for their future and should dream big. 'I want them to know it's possible. Whatever you desire or dream of, God will provide. Just keep going and pursuing your dreams. 'Initiatives such as All Gold are valuable because they give young people a sense of hope and possibility.
