Are Sean and Allyshia Still Together Post-‘Bachelor in Paradise'?
Sean McLaughlin and Allyshia Gupta may have left Paradise together—but did they stay together? Ever since the two self-eliminated on the latest episode of Bachelor in Paradise season 10, fans have been trying to figure out whether the couple is still going I'm sorry to say that things aren't looking good for them. Let's review the evidence, shall we? First, there was Allyshia's Bachelor Happy Hour interview on August 7, where she talked about how things might have been different if she'd arrived in Costa Rica sooner. 'I do think that had I come in Day 1 or Day 2, like earlier days, I do think that Dale [Moss] and I probably would have ended up coupled up,' she said. Sean's response? After Bachelor Happy Hour posted a clip from the episode on IG, Sean slid into the comments to write, 'Oh interesting'...before reportedly unfollowing Allyshia and removing all photos of them together from his grid. Then, on August 12, when asked by Us Weekly where she and Sean stood following her comment about Dale, Allyshia said they were on 'great terms'—though she didn't actually clarify whether they were still a couple. As she explained, 'I can see why he might feel like he was a second option, which wasn't the case whatsoever. We have a real relationship and I think that's where he has his feelings hurt a little bit because it's more than just a TV show.' She also mentioned that she was 'actually FaceTiming him before coming into this interview,' so there's that! The next twist came on August 15, when Reality Steve posted a new batch of spoilers on Instagram, which included the fact that (supposedly) Sean and Allyshia are 'not together' anymore. But the biggest clue yet came on August 19, when Sean got his turn on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. During his appearance, he seemed to suggest that he and Allyshia tried to make things work post-Paradise but eventually split. 'When we got sent home, I was so excited,' Sean said. 'We were going back to Tampa together. We had talked about leaving in a relationship well prior to us getting eliminated.' He continued, 'I thought I found the most amazing person. I was incredibly excited about our relationship. I couldn't wait to get back to Tampa—' but! Just as he was about to seemingly provide an update on where he and Allyshia currently stand, host Joe Amabile cut him off, saying they couldn't 'touch on where your relationship status is now.' ‘Bachelor in Paradise': Did Kat Izzo Have a Secret Boyfriend?
Season 10 may have started off slow, but Bachelor in Paradise is ramping up the drama leading up to the September 1 finale—and the drama is not limited to the screen. During a recent appearance on The Viall Files with Nick Viall, Allyshia Gupta claimed that—despite being coupled up with Dale Moss—Kat Izzo had a secret boyfriend while on Bachelor in Paradise. Bachelor Nation is well aware that Allyshia and Kat don't get along and that Kat had a huge falling out with Sean McLaughlin, who ended up leaving BiP with Allyshia on the most recent episode. So, when Allyshia sat down with Nick, he was quick to ask about their relationship. 'She's not an honest person,' Allyshia said of Kat. 'She doesn't tell the truth, and she was caught in a lie many times, and that's something that, for me, is the bare minimum.' Of course, Nick's next move was to press Allyshia about this so-called 'lie' Kat told, and that's when Allyshia spilled the beans. According to her, Kat was dating Sean's best friend when she left to film for Paradise—and Allyshia got the story straight from him. 'So Sean and I leave—spoiler alert—[and] we have a conversation with Sean's best friend, who was her boyfriend at the time,' she said. 'He's like, 'You won't believe who ended up screwing me over in all of this.'' She continued, saying that the mystery boyfriend told them that Kat had been 'sending him love letters since Day 1 in Paradise.' How was she getting him these messages, exactly, when Bachelor has a strict no-phone' policy? According to Allyshia: 'She snuck her iPad in. She was sending him things 'to get him through.' Like, 'This will last you till I get back out of Paradise.'' In response, Nick said he'd heard rumors that Kat would write messages on her arms for this secret boyfriend, in the hopes that the cameras would catch them. Allyshia couldn't confirm or deny this—but when asked what she thought Kat might do when confronted by this information on the show, she said, 'I think Kat is going to do what Kat does best, which is deny, lie, cry.' Meanwhile, blogger Reality Steve also hinted at this drama in a spoiler post on Instagram. He likened the situation to the Jeremy-Bailey-Brian drama, writing, 'In the finale, Sean confronts Kat and accuses her of coming on the show with a boyfriend, using the show for clout, and alleging that she contacted him somehow during filming.' That said, Reality Steve is reporting that Kat and Dale are still together, so either they worked through it or Kat is going to set Sean straight in the finale. We will be watching.
