Are Sean and Allyshia Still Together Post-‘Bachelor in Paradise'?

Cosmopolitan2 hours ago
Sean McLaughlin and Allyshia Gupta may have left Paradise together—but did they stay together? Ever since the two self-eliminated on the latest episode of Bachelor in Paradise season 10, fans have been trying to figure out whether the couple is still going strong...and I'm sorry to say that things aren't looking good for them.
Let's review the evidence, shall we?
First, there was Allyshia's Bachelor Happy Hour interview on August 7, where she talked about how things might have been different if she'd arrived in Costa Rica sooner. 'I do think that had I come in Day 1 or Day 2, like earlier days, I do think that Dale [Moss] and I probably would have ended up coupled up,' she said.
Sean's response? After Bachelor Happy Hour posted a clip from the episode on IG, Sean slid into the comments to write, 'Oh interesting'...before reportedly unfollowing Allyshia and removing all photos of them together from his grid.
Then, on August 12, when asked by Us Weekly where she and Sean stood following her comment about Dale, Allyshia said they were on 'great terms'—though she didn't actually clarify whether they were still a couple.
As she explained, 'I can see why he might feel like he was a second option, which wasn't the case whatsoever. We have a real relationship and I think that's where he has his feelings hurt a little bit because it's more than just a TV show.'
She also mentioned that she was 'actually FaceTiming him before coming into this interview,' so there's that!
The next twist came on August 15, when Reality Steve posted a new batch of spoilers on Instagram, which included the fact that (supposedly) Sean and Allyshia are 'not together' anymore.
But the biggest clue yet came on August 19, when Sean got his turn on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. During his appearance, he seemed to suggest that he and Allyshia tried to make things work post-Paradise but eventually split.
'When we got sent home, I was so excited,' Sean said. 'We were going back to Tampa together. We had talked about leaving in a relationship well prior to us getting eliminated.'
He continued, 'I thought I found the most amazing person. I was incredibly excited about our relationship. I couldn't wait to get back to Tampa—' but! Just as he was about to seemingly provide an update on where he and Allyshia currently stand, host Joe Amabile cut him off, saying they couldn't 'touch on where your relationship status is now.' Mmkay!
Stay tuned for more deets as we have them.

'The Biggest Loser' Winner Danni Allen Defends Show After Netflix Doc, Says It Was ‘Extreme' but a ‘Positive Experience'

''The Biggest Loser' was not without its flaws, but it also gave me lasting friendships and lessons,' season 14 winner Danni Allen said NEED TO KNOW Danni Allen, season 14 winner of 'The Biggest Loser,' took to social media to defend the weight-loss competition series Although she wasn't a part of Netflix's new bombshell documentary, Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser, she said her experience on the show was positive She reminded her followers that the show is 'not without its flaws,' but it gave her lasting lessons Dannielle "Danni" Allen — season 14 winner of The Biggest Loser — is speaking out about Netflix's new tell-all documentary centered on the weight loss competition show. On Monday, August 18, Allen posted on Instagram and defended the NBC show, which has sparked controversy following Netflix's new documentary, Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser. 'Here's the deal…I can only speak to my season,' she wrote. 'Was it extreme? Oh, absolutely. Working out 8-10 hours a day on very few calories isn't exactly the picture of balance. But for me, it was still a positive experience.' 'Did the show want ratings and money? 100%. It was television, not summer camp,' she continued. 'But I chose to be part of it, and I'm forever grateful for the family I gained from the experience (love you, BL fam🩷).' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Allen then gave a shout out to the 'unsung heroes' — those who worked behind the scenes — noting that they cared about the contestants and 'never made it into drama.' 'I didn't participate in the doc; I never know which 'storyline' they're going to spin. (And trust me, I've had enough slow-mo weigh-in shots for a lifetime😂) But I do plan to watch eventually, and if I feel compelled, I'll share my POV,' she wrote. 'For now, just remember: it was TV. Sometimes dramatized, sometimes inspiring, always sweaty.' In the caption, Allen added, 'I'll say this: The Biggest Loser was not without its flaws, but it also gave me lasting friendships and lessons. What I believe strongly is that we can all keep learning about health, and when we're able, invest in ourselves.' Five years after The Biggest Loser ended for good, the alleged darker side of the show has been examined in Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser, which began streaming on Aug. 15. ! The new three-episode Netflix docuseries covers not only the show's public missteps, including a 2016 bombshell medical study that claimed contestants permanently had damaged their metabolic rates, but new behind-the-scenes details about some of the unhealthy decisions allegedly made by its cast, crew and showrunners during The Biggest Loser's 18-season run. Allen won Biggest Loser in 2013. She began the series at 258 lbs. and lost 121 lbs., finishing at 137 lbs. (a 47% weight loss). Shortly after her win, she became the marketing director for a Chicago-area Planet Fitness. In May 2019, she told the Chicago Tribune that she weighed around 175 to 180 lbs., which she considered a "healthy, happy weight for me to maintain without going crazy in the gym." Acronym Trivia Quiz — BuzzFeed Quizzes

In case it's been a minute since English class — guilty — an acronym is a word formed from the first letters of each word in a phrase. Think ER = Emergency Room, or PDA = Public Display of Affection. Ever hear an acronym so often it just…stops feeling like an acronym? Your brain files it under 'regular word' and moves on. That was me with SCUBA. Turns out — it's an acronym. Wild, right? I found this out today, which apparently means I'm not the grown-ass adult I thought I was. Sure, I can cook and do my taxes, but this SCUBA had me shame-eating ice cream. I'm blaming it on the whole 'living in Toronto, nowhere near the ocean' thing. So, whether you're a SCUBA instructor or someone who couldn't tell me what ASAP actually stands for, it's time to put your acronym skills to the test. Here's the deal: I'll give you a common acronym, and you tell me what it means. That's it. Easy. LFG!! How'd you do? LMK in the comments — and be honest: Which acronym did you have no idea was FR an acronym? Anyone else in the dark about SCUBA? NGL, a few of these were news to me, too, so you're in good company. LOL. (I know, I know...I'm going way overboard with the acronyms. I'll GTFO!) For more fun content and quizzes, make sure you follow BuzzFeed Canada on TikTok and Instagram for more!
