Kate Hudson/Instagram Prior to that, Kate posted a series of photos from yet another family vacation in Greece, which featured more members of her famous family, including brothers Oliver Hudson and Wyatt Russell. When speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of her Netflix show, 'Running Point,' in February 2025, Kate shot down the notion her family could ever star in a reality show, bluntly saying, 'It'll never happen.' 'Listen, my dad, he's just too cool. He'd rather just be in Colorado just being dad. … Snake Plissken doesn't do reality,' Kate said, referencing stepdad Kurt Russell's character in the movies 'Escape from New York' and 'Escape from LA.' Russell and Hawn began dating when Kate and Oliver were both young, and although the couple never married, he shares a close bond with them both. Advertisement 'Essentially, he raised me. … I'm the man I am today because of him,' Oliver said on 'Sibling Revelry,' his podcast with Kate. 'There was a moment when he asked us — myself and Kate — if we wanted to be adopted, and we said no. Not that we were, you know, very aware of probably what it even f—ing meant. … We just said, 'Well, we don't need it. The love is right there.' 'At the same time, when you don't have your biological [father] around, it's hard to replace that, no matter what. The love was there with Kurt, no doubt about it. He is my dad. I call him Pa. But there was always, not something missing, but it was always sort of like, 'Wow, but there's that other side.''

Kate Hudson's fiancé was confused when she arrived home with a 'massive bruise' on her leg

Kate Hudson's fiancé was confused when she arrived home with a "massive bruise" on her leg. The 46-year-old actress - who has been engaged to Danny Fujikawa, 38, since 2021 and has six-year-old daughter Rani with him - had been filming her Netflix sports comedy 'Running Point' and hadn't even noticed the injury herself before getting into bed. She told PEOPLE: "I remember one time I had this big bruise on my left thigh and I was getting into bed and [my fiancé Danny Fujikawa] was ... like, 'Babe, what's going on?' And it was like massive! And I was like, 'Oh, that's weird. Something's wrong!'" In the series, the 'Almost Famous' star plays a former party girl who becomes the president of her family's basketball team and it took her a while to realise that the bruise came from having to shoot several takes of the scene where her character discovers a secret stash of drugs in a desk drawer. She said: "And then I was like, 'Oh wait, the drug drawer.' That's all. I have been hitting a drug drawer for like two weeks. "Yeah, you know, the war wounds!" Kate - who also has Ryder, 21, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, Bingham, 13, with ex-fiance Matt Bellamy - previously looked back on her own memories of sibling rivalry as she prepared to launch the show. Speaking on UK TV show 'Lorraine', Kate - who is the daughter of Hollywood stars Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson - said: "It's a very dysfunctional family and I think they're all striving to be validated by their siblings and to be good at something because they had a very difficult father. "It's really about the comedy in that dysfunction. "Art is so different than franchise business. What I do understand is growing up with brothers. "I'm the only girl of three brothers and you have to yell to be heard. Those little foundational things that go on when you're the only girl in a group of three boys is so frustrating. And I love the sibling dynamic because you can be as cruel to each other as humanly possible but you still love them."

Kylie and Jason Kelce welcome fourth child into the world

Kylie Kelce has given birth to her fourth child. The 33-year-old podcaster and her husband Jason Kelce welcomed daughter Finnley Anne, a sister for Wyatt, five, Elliotte, four, and two-year-old Bennett, into the world on Sunday (30.03.25). The couple took to Instagram to share a series of photos of the newborn, including a close up of the tot being swaddled and wearing a large pink and blue bow in her hair, one of her resting on her side, and one of each parent holding the latest edition to their family. The post was captioned: "Whoop, there she is! "Finnley 'Finn' Anne Kelce "3/30/25 (sic)" Just a few weeks ago, Kylie - who announced her pregnancy in November - revealed she was considering calling the baby Andie in honour of Kate Hudson's character in 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days'. Speaking to Kate on her own 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast, Kylie said: "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of my favourite movies of all time, but absolutely my favourite rom-com. "We've even considered Andie as a name for our fourth girl. "Our first is Wyatt, our second is Elliotte, our third is Bennett. We were like, 'Andie would fit in there, and it would be so cool." Kylie also revealed that she knows another couple who choose the same moniker for their child and has found it to be a "bada**" name. She said: "They said that they named their daughter Anderson, as in Andie Anderson, and call her Andie. It's so bada***." The 'Almost Famous' star approved of the name She said: "Andie would be so cute. "It's a great name. I love that." Kylie felt it was probably too late to opt for a "girly" name for her fourth child and felt her other three kids would question such a move. She said: "If we do a full commit to a girly name at this point, it would not sit well with the other three. "I think eventually, they'll be like, 'Why did they get a cute girly name?'" Kylie recently revealed that she wanted a fourth child because she likes "even" numbers. She said: "I really like even numbers. "We got three, and I was like, 'Three's cool. This feels good. "Then we got out of the rough baby sleeping and all that, and I was like, 'You know what, I like even numbers, let's do it.'"
