Billie Eilish Returns Multiple Smashes To The Charts In A Big Week For The Singer

Billie Eilish lands multiple entries on Billboard's alternative charts this frame, led by the ... More returning "What Was I Made For?" and "Chihiro." QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC - SEPTEMBER 29: (EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE) Billie Eilish performs onstage during Billie Eilish HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR Kick Off at Videotron Centre on September 29, 2024 in Quebec City, Quebec. (Photo byfor Live Nation) Billie Eilish already ranks among the most successful musicians of all time on Billboard's alternative charts, despite the fact that she's only 23. While these rankings have only been around for a relatively short period of time — at least compared to other tallies — with just a handful of albums, the singer-songwriter has produced an impressive number of hit singles, including several that have maintained historic stays on both sales and streaming lists. As is often the case with Eilish, she appears on several of the rosters dedicated to alternative music in the United States once again. This frame, she manages to bring some of her most successful tunes back to different-but-related rankings as people keep buying and streaming her most popular works. Eilish returns to both the Alternative Digital Song Sales and Alternative Streaming Songs charts this week. She occupies multiple spaces on each ranking as some tracks rise, while others make their way back to the tallies, which focus on specific forms of consumption, but in each case, only alternative tunes. She claims a pair of spaces on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, doubling her count as one cut reappears. She raises her total to three current smashes on the Alternative Streaming Songs ranking as a different title bounces back onto the busy tally. Eilish's highest-rising returning favorite comes on the Alternative Digital Song Sales roster. "What Was I Made For?" — her Oscar-winning ballad from the movie Barbie — reenters at No. 8. It has previously led the charge, and if it can manage just one more frame on this list, it will mark a full year on the chart. "Chihiro," a track from Eilish's most recent album Hit Me Hard and Soft, bounces back onto the Alternative Streaming Songs ranking this frame, but only just barely. The cut, which previously stalled in the runner-up spot, lands in last place – at No. 25 – this week. "Birds of a Feather," easily the biggest hit from Hit Me Hard and Soft, is still a huge win on both alternative tallies. It returns to the second-place spot on the Alternative Streaming Songs chart and climbs to No. 4 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales list. "Wildflower," the most recent single promoted from the full-length, grows once more. It ascends from No. 9 to No. 6 on the streaming-only alternative ranking this time around.

Linkin Park Scores Back-To-Back New Top 10 Singles

Linkin Park's new single 'Unshatter' debuts inside the top 10 on four Billboard charts, marking ... More another major win ahead of the band's upcoming From Zero deluxe release. (Photo by) On May 16, Linkin Park will release the deluxe edition of From Zero. The standard version of the album dropped in the fall of 2024 and was promoted with a slew of hugely successful singles. The collection proved that the band, which had been out of the spotlight for years, could still produce radio smashes and continued to command a massive fanbase. Two tracks from the upcoming expanded project have already been shared, and one of them debuts inside the top 10 on multiple Billboard rankings this week in the U.S. "Unshatter" is the second official single from the deluxe edition of From Zero. It arrives just about a month after "Up from the Bottom," which also became a big Billboard success. This week, "Unshatter" lands on five tallies published by the music magazine. It opens inside the top 10 on all but one of them, thanks largely to about 1,400 pure purchases, according to Luminate. Linkin Park's "Unshatter" hits No. 3 as it arrives on both the Alternative Digital Song Sales and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. That's the highest position it reaches on any list. On the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, it's bested by Sleep Token's 'Damocles,' which also leads the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales ranking. On the former list, "Messy" by Lola Young drops from No. 1 to No. 2, while former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar debuts his tribute to Eddie Van Halen titled 'Encore (Thank You, Goodnight)' in the runner-up spot on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. "Unshatter" also begins its time on both the Rock Digital Song Sales and Hot Hard Rock Songs charts, kicking off at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. The same new Linkin Park single is also present on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, Billboard's most important tally dedicated to individual tunes in those genres. The band's track barely becomes a top 40 win, as it gets its start at No. 38. Throughout the decades, Linkin Park has collected dozens of smashes on most of these rankings. It has accrued the fewest appearances on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, as "Unshatter" marks the band's twenty-first placement. The group has earned the most entries on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs list, where it has collected a total of 51 placements.

Lana Del Rey Charts Back-To-Back Top 10 Hit Singles With 'Bluebird'

Lana Del Rey lands another top 10 with 'Bluebird,' which debuts at No. 9 on the Alternative Digital ... More Song Sales chart as fans await her next full-length. PARIS, FRANCE - AUGUST 21: Lana Del Rey performs during the Rock en Seine Festival on August 21, 2024 in Paris, France. (Photo by) Lana Del Rey is on a winning streak once again. The singer-songwriter has a new album coming soon, though no one knows exactly when it will arrive. While she continues to tease the set, both recently-released singles released from the forthcoming project have become hits in the United States. Del Rey even manages to score back-to-back top 10 wins on one tally. Fans are ravenous for anything new from the superstar, and they seem excited about the slightly new sonic direction she's exploring – and they've shown that they're willing to purchase anything shared from the upcoming bestselling project. "Bluebird" is the latest single taken from Del Rey's as-yet-untitled upcoming full-length. The latest track debuts on four Billboard rankings this week. It succeeds largely thanks to sales, where it performs best. Del Rey's "Bluebird" flies into the top 10 on just one of the four tallies on which it arrives. It starts at No. 9 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, which ranks only the top-selling tunes in that one style on platforms like iTunes and Amazon. The singer-songwriter collects her twenty-third top 10 smash on the Alternative Digital Song Sales ranking this frame. That total is a little more than half of the 41 tracks she has sent to the tally throughout her career. Last week, Del Rey debuted "Henry, Come On" on the same list, though in a higher position. That single opened at No. 4 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart. It also launched in nearly the same slot on the Rock Digital Song Sales tally, starting its time at No. 5. "Bluebird" also manages to flap its wings and appear on three other Billboard charts following its first full frame of availability in America. It nearly joins "Henry, Come On" in giving Del Rey back-to-back top 10s on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart — which she achieves on the alternative version of the list — but it misses the highest tier by two spots, kicking off its run at No. 12. The cut is also a winner on two consumption-based rankings. It opens at No. 21 on the Hot Alternative Songs list and at No. 25 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. "Henry, Come On" no longer appears on a number of the lists it debuted on last frame, but it does manage to spend a second week on a pair of tallies. It drops more than 10 spots on both the Hot Rock Songs (No. 23) and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs (No. 32) rankings. Del Rey manages to double up on the latter list, with both singles from her forthcoming full-length taking up space at the same time — and this may be the only instance of that happening.
