MrBeast shuts down Disneyland for Rs 4.1 cr date night with fiancèe after claiming he is borrowing money from mom for wedding

Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, continues to captivate his fans with his YouTube videos. Following his exploration of 2,000-year-old ancient temples in Mexico, which stirred up some controversy, he is now making waves with a romantic getaway he planned for his fiancée, Thea Booysen. The world's most subscribed YouTuber shut down the entire Disneyland for Rs $500K (Rs 4.1 crore) date night with Booysen. 'Disney won't just hand over their keys to anyone, but for this once-in-a-lifetime date, we were given the entire park for one night,' MrBeast said in the video. The lavish date night comes days after he claimed that he was short on funds and had to borrow money from his mother for his wedding. He had said that he has pumped in all his money into the channel and has little personal wealth. He began the date by taking Booysen on a $1 (Rs 85) Ferris wheel ride at a small, carnival-style amusement park. Things escalate quickly, as their next stop was an extravagant $10,000 (Rs 835,000) multi-course gourmet dinner collated by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. The adventure continued with a lavish $50,000 (Rs 4,257,000) private island getaway. Joined by several members of the MrBeast team, the couple enjoyed jet skiing, relaxing couples' massages, and more premium experiences. For their first theme park date, the group headed to the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This enormous entertainment complex featured Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park, DreamWorks Water Park, and the Big Snow indoor ski slope. The $250,000 (Rs 21,407,500) experience is centered around Nolan, a member of MrBeast's crew, and included a surprise appearance by Madison Beer. Highlights included a luxury car ride, attending a Major League Baseball game, and an exclusive fine-dining dinner. Later, MrBeast and a small group of friends had the ultimate Star Wars experience with a visit to an empty Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, where they ride Rise of the Resistance without waiting in line. They also stopped at Savi's Workshop to build their custom lightsabers, 'an experience which typically costs $219.99 (Rs 18,879) per person, plus tax.' The group then moved over to Disney California Adventure for a spin on Pixar Pal-A-Round, where the couple reflected on how 'much more magical and special this $500,000 (Rs 42,812,500) experience is compared to the $1 (Rs 85) Ferris wheel ride.' Their time at the park wrapped up with a private showing of World of Colour Happiness, the nighttime spectacular now featuring a new Muppets pre-show to celebrate Disneyland's 70th anniversary. Finally, the evening ended with a lavish dinner in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and a special viewing of the Paint the Night Parade, brought back for the anniversary celebration. 'This was everyone's favorite date,' MrBeast said. MrBeast and Thea Booysen, a well-known gamer from South Africa, made their mark in the digital world long before they met. Their love story started in 2022 when Jimmy travelled to South Africa and was introduced to Booysen by a mutual friend at a dinner gathering. Earlier this year, MrBeast proposed to Thea, and she said yes.

Kendrick Lamar makes surprise appearance at SZA's Not Beauty pop-up event

SZA recently hosted a pop-up event for her brand, Not Beauty, at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The event took place on Thursday and Friday, coinciding with her "Grand National" tour stop in her hometown. Ahead of the event, SZA shared her excitement on Instagram, urging fans in the area to visit the pop-up for the launch of her first product, a lip gloss trio. The pop-up event attracted a large crowd eager to get their hands on SZA's debut beauty product. However, the biggest surprise came when Kendrick Lamar, SZA's collaborator on the track 'Luther,' made a surprise appearance. SZA's Not Beauty products were made available exclusively to attendees of the "Grand National" tour, creating an added incentive for concert-goers. The special moment occurred just before SZA and Kendrick's performance at MetLife Stadium later that evening. In addition to Kendrick Lamar's appearance at the pop-up, fans at the concert were treated to another surprise when Baby Keem joined Kendrick on stage for a performance of "Family Ties." The collaboration, which debuted with a new verse at their Minneapolis show, thrilled the crowd. Kendrick's set also included hits like "King Kunta" and "ELEMENT," while SZA performed fan favorites like "Kill Bill" and "Diamond Boy (DTM)." The duo also performed their popular collaborations, including "All The Stars." Following their May 8 performance, Charlamagne Tha God praised the show on The Breakfast Club, emphasizing that Kendrick's cultural influence is unmatched.

Jonas Brothers Announce Release Date for Single "Love Me To Heaven"

Yara Sameh The Jonas Brothers are gearing up to release their brand new single, 'Love Me to Heaven". The follow-up to the sibling trio's recent singles with Marshmello ('Slow Motion') and Rascal Flatts ('I Dare You') is due out on March 21. They announced the news in an Instagram post on Thursday in which all three modeled Canadian tuxedoes while flipping and jumping through the sky. The band previewed the uptempo pop tune during their 20th-anniversary celebration show in Toronto last month, busting out the live debut of the track on which they sing, 'Could give me everything, but it ain't enough/ You can't put a price on the human touch/ I could be down, but you love me to heaven/ Love me to heaven, babe.' Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas will continue their celebration of two decades of familial pop rocking with the upcoming one-day JONASCON at the American Dream Mall in their native New Jersey on March 23. The event will feature live performances, DJ sets, Q&A panels, fan activations, pop-up surprises, retail takeovers, a Jonas trading post, trivia, games, immersive experiences, an interactive art installation, keynote event, karaoke, a Camp Rock bar, special guests, mini golf and exclusive merch. 'From their early beginnings to global pop icons, JONASCON will honor the band's incredible journey while also showing their appreciation to the fans who have been with them from the beginning,' a statement promised. While no specific information has been released about where the new single will land, earlier this year the trio promised that their 20th-anniversary celebrations will include a 'year of music,' featuring new songs, a live album, soundtrack, solo music and a holiday movie for Disney titled Jonas Brothers Christmas Music. They will also be featured on Rascal Flatt's upcoming duets album, Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duet via 'I Dare You,' which was written by Nick Jonas with Dan + Shay's Shay Mooney, Dewain Whitmore Jr, and Tommy English. The US penny costs nearly 4 cents to make. But for one sector of souvenir sellers, it's a living.

But the presidential penny pledge is already being felt in one niche world. It's a little-known world that depends on buying pennies wholesale, loading them into machines and persuading parents to feed a few dollars into machines that stamp designs on the pennies — Paw Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — as they are stretched between metal rollers at fun fairs. Get Starting Point A guide through the most important stories of the morning, delivered Monday through Friday. Enter Email Sign Up Small orbits of collectors and craftsmen have developed around them. And without the penny, the whole thing faces an uncertain future. Advertisement The last pennies? New copper pennies vanished from circulation in 1982 — 73 years after the first Lincoln penny was minted— and were replaced by zinc-coated ones. The old ones are more pliable and easier to stamp, making them hot items for kids at fun fairs. 'They'll clean 'em so when they elongate the dino or shark of the printed coin it maintains a ghost image of the printed head of Lincoln,' said Brian Peters, general manager of Minnesota-based Penny Press Machine Co. 'Pre-1982 copper pennies, they bring those.' Jeweler Angelo Rosato worked for decades in the 1960's and '70s hand-printing pennies with scenes of their New Milford, Connecticut hometown and historical and sentimental scenes. Everything was obsessively catalogued, including more than 4,000 penny photographs. 'We're big fans of the penny. Keep the penny,' said Aaron Zablow of Roseland, New Jersey, who was with two of his sons at the American Dream Mall. 'I like the pennies,' his 9-year-old son Mason said. Some don't want the United States to stop making cents Critics say the rise of electronic commerce and the billions of pennies in circulation mean the U.S. could stop printing the copper coins tomorrow and see little widespread effect for decades. But some people are watching fearfully to see if Trump's public critique of the penny will affect their business. Advertisement Alan Fleming of Scotland is the owner of Penny Press Factory, one of a number around the world that manufacture machines that flatten and stamp coins. 'A lovely retired gentleman in Boston sold me over 100,000 uncirculated cents a couple of years ago but he doesn't have any more,' Fleming wrote. 'I will need to purchase new uncirculated cents within the next 12 months to keep my machines supplied and working!'Regardless of that happens to niche businesses like Fleming's, penny defenders say they're an important tool for lubricating the economy even if they're a money-losing proposition. Since the invention of money, mankind has wrangled with the question of small change, how to denominate amounts so small that the metal coin itself is actually worth more. In 2003, Thomas J. Sargent and another economist wrote 'The Big Problem of Small Change,' billed as 'the first credible and analytically sound explanation' of why governments had a hard time maintaining a steady supply of small change because of the high costs of production. Why pay money for coins? In a digital world with the line blurring between the real and the virtual, tactile coins have been reassuring. 'What this all tells you about the United States as a country is that it's an incredibly conservative country when it comes to money,' said Ute Wartenberg, executive director of the American Numismatic Society. Pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters are sometimes designed by artists laser-sculpting tiny portraits of leaders and landmarks using special software. 'It's pretty cool because when I tell people what I do I just say my initials are on the penny,' Joseph Menna, the 14th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint, said in the 2019 film 'Heads-Up: Will We Stop Making Cents?' Advertisement Fleming is hoping some lobbying may help: 'Maybe we should take a trip to Washington and ask to speak to President Trump and Elon Musk and see if we can cut a deal on buying millions of pennies from them.'
