The United States officially announces its withdrawal from UNESCO

Amir Hagag The US State Department announced on Tuesday the official withdrawal of the United States from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), a move that reflects escalating political tensions between Washington and international organizations. This is not the first time the United States has withdrawn from the organization. It previously withdrew in the 1980s, then returned later, and withdrew again in 2018 before temporarily resuming its participation. This new move comes amid ongoing US criticism of the organization's management and issues related to representation and voting. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks

Greece Prevents Israelis from Landing on Syros Island Due to Pro-Gaza Protests

Amir Hagag Greek authorities have prevented several Israeli settlements from docking on the island of Syros due to massive pro-Gaza protests on the same island. According to Hebrew media, the Israelis were stuck on the ship, and some passengers began a counter-demonstration, waving Israeli flags and chanting, "We are the believers, children of the believers." Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar spoke with his Greek counterpart, Georgios Gerapetritis, to discuss the matter. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks

Aboul Gheit Welcomes Collective Global Statement to Stop Gaza War

Amir Hagag Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, welcomed a statement issued by 28 countries, including key European countries such as Britain and France, calling for an immediate end to the war on Gaza. The statement noted that "the suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached new levels of depth," and clearly condemned "the inhumane killing of civilians, including children, while trying to meet their basic needs of water and food." Jamal Rushdi, the Secretary-General's official spokesman, quoted Aboul Gheit as saying that the statement represents a global consensus rejecting the continuation of Israel's ethnic cleansing scheme, which has reached unprecedented levels of dehumanization and depravity. What is required is to turn actions into words and exert real pressure on the occupying state to halt the daily massacre of Palestinians in Gaza. The number of victims outside aid distribution centers has exceeded 800, killed in cold blood while waiting to receive the minimum basic necessities needed to sustain their lives. The official spokesperson emphasized that Israel is acting with all cruelty to implement its plan for forced displacement, through daily killing of Palestinians and making their continued presence in the Gaza Strip impossible through starvation, deprivation of basic necessities, issuing evacuation orders, and preventing the entry of aid. He added: "The world is called upon to take effective action to end this ongoing massacre and put an end to the occupying state's flagrant, shameful, and unprecedented defiance of the principles of international humanitarian law, which disregards even the most basic humanitarian norms." read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks
