Emma Maembong addresses romance rumour with DJ Kidd
7 Aug - Emma Maembong is neither denying nor confirming romance with night club disc jockey, DJ Kidd, but admitted that they are getting to know each other. The actress was asked about her relationship with the DJ after she turned heads by walking the red carpet with him at the recently concluded Anugerah Melodi Terhangat. "I don't have much to say. I'm not saying yes or no about our relationship. All I can say is that we are getting to know each other. Whether we are meant to be or not, I will leave it up to God," she said. Emma, whose marriage ended in October last year, said that she enjoyed being friends with DJ Kidd seeing that they have a lot of things in common. "I am just happy in this simple life of mine. I am just human after all," she said. Emma was first romantically linked to DJ Kidd after the latter decided to share photos and videos of them on a holiday together earlier this year. Siti Saleha: I am so blessed with this pregnancy
6 Aug - After confirming her pregnancy rumours, Siti Saleha finally revealed that she is now four months into her pregnancy. Sharing the news with the media following her appearance at the Anugerah Melodi Terhangat on 3 August, the actress said that she intentionally waited until the pregnancy surpassed its first trimester to finally reveal the good news. "I was waiting for the right time and didn't tell anybody because it was still the first trimester. We didn't even tell our family about it. But then it got out on TikTok and the media began asking questions," she said. Saleha stated that she was blessed by the fact that she didn't experience any allergy throughout the first three months, and that her new drama project was postponed during that time. "I think if I had to shoot during the first trimester, I would have had a hard time even if I didn't experience nausea," she added. As for winning Hottest Celebrity Icon, the actress said that she is thankful for her fans' support. 5 Aug - Sophia Albarakbah recently stated that she didn't think Bella Astillah was making a snide remark when she announced her as the winner of the Selebriti Feminin Terhangat (Hottest Female Celebrity) category at the Anugerah Melodi Terhangat (AMT) that was held on 3 August. The actress, who spoke to the media after winning the title at the event, said that she is not at all affected by Bella's comment that "I know her, I know her very well" before announcing her name as the winner, and was more focused on the fact that she won the category. "I didn't feel slighted. We are in the same industry. I am more focused on processing this idea that I have won. I am still surprised by it," she said. On the other hand, Bella immediately departed after the event concluded, sparking speculations that there are still tensions between the two parties. The singer herself won Best Celebrity Couple Goals alongside Muar MP, Syed Saddiq. Sophia and Bella had a fall out back in 2023, after the latter revealed that Sophia was the third party in her marriage with Aliff Aziz. #SHOWBIZ: Fattah Amin vows legal action against slander
PUTRAJAYA: Malaysian actor Fattah Amin has announced that his management and lawyers will take legal action against those who have spread slanderous allegations against him, following his name being dragged into the marital issues of an influencer couple. Fattah said that if the slander continues to harm his reputation and credibility as an actor, appropriate action will be taken. "My management became aware of this after being alerted by concerned fans," he said. "The inappropriate things and slander that were spread have been investigated by my management. "My management will take action, and if necessary, we will use the law. Actually, at this point, this matter isn't just being 'considered' anymore; it is already being actively managed. "Action will be taken against anyone who spreads slander because it can lead to worse things," he said at a press conference after winning the Selebriti Maskulin Terhangat award during the Anugerah Melodi Terhangat (AMT) 2025 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) last night. The controversy began when an influencer claimed on Threads that a woman was trying to seduce her husband. The matter intensified when the influencer alleged that the woman was believed to have once been associated with Fattah. Meanwhile, commenting on his victory, Fattah expressed his gratitude and thanked the fans who voted for him. "All the nominees are amazing," he said. "I consider them my brothers in the entertainment industry. Thank you to the fans who have always supported and voted for me, which led to me winning this trophy."

#SHOWBIZ: Daiyan Trisha wins Anugerah Melodi Terhangat 2025
PUTRAJAYA: Actress and singer Daiyan was pleasantly surprised after scooping two awards at the Anugerah Melodi Terhangat 2025 (AMT2025), held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre last night. "I didn't expect to win anything tonight. I just came to honour the efforts of my fans who voted for me every day," said the artiste, who attended the event straight after arriving from a work trip in Bangkok, Thailand. Daiyan took home the night's top prize, the Anugerah Melodi Terhangat award, as well as the Selebriti Stailo Terhangat award. Elsewhere, Hot FM radio presenter Keymi was honoured with the exclusive Proton X50 Superstar Choice Award, receiving a trophy and a brand new Proton X50 car. The popular awards show, organised by TV3, made its return after a nine-year hiatus. A total of 12 awards were presented during the gala.
