Emma Maembong addresses romance rumour with DJ Kidd

Yahoo07-08-2025
7 Aug - Emma Maembong is neither denying nor confirming romance with night club disc jockey, DJ Kidd, but admitted that they are getting to know each other.
The actress was asked about her relationship with the DJ after she turned heads by walking the red carpet with him at the recently concluded Anugerah Melodi Terhangat.
"I don't have much to say. I'm not saying yes or no about our relationship. All I can say is that we are getting to know each other. Whether we are meant to be or not, I will leave it up to God," she said.
Emma, whose marriage ended in October last year, said that she enjoyed being friends with DJ Kidd seeing that they have a lot of things in common.
"I am just happy in this simple life of mine. I am just human after all," she said.
Emma was first romantically linked to DJ Kidd after the latter decided to share photos and videos of them on a holiday together earlier this year. The intimacy between them in the photos and videos sparked rumours that they have secretly tied the knot.
The actress had since denied the rumours.

Women Who Dumped Their "Manchild" Partners, What Was The Final Straw?

By now, I'm sure you've heard Sabrina Carpenter's most recent single, "Manchild." People everywhere, particularly women, quickly latched onto it as they reminisced on their own unfortunate romantic encounters with man-children. It got me thinking... Just how many women have suffered through a situationship, or, god forbid, a relationship, with a manchild? And what was the moment they decided to say "ENOUGH!"? Perhaps you dated a man who, despite being well into his 20s, didn't really bother learning how to cook, clean, or do his own laundry. He let his mom come over to his place and do all his chores for him. He practically lived off junk food, takeout, and frozen pizzas. When his mom got sick and stopped coming around to clean up after him, he let his apartment get so gross, and he kept complaining about how annoying it was that his mom was too tired to help him out. You quickly snapped out of whatever spell you'd been under and dumped his ass. Related: Maybe you dated a guy in college in your same major who would pout and "punish" you with the silent treatment every time you got a better grade than him. It seemed like a joke at first, but after three semesters of his whining, you realized he was threatened by you. You bombed a test three days after your grandma died, and all he did was laugh at you and gloat about his B-. You broke up with him and landed a much better job after graduation than your loser ex could fathom. Related: Or, perhaps you dated a guy who was really, really weird about periods. He didn't even want to hang out with you when you were on yours. He'd never, in a million years, buy you pads or tampons, nor would he show you sympathy when your cramps were bad. He called periods "gross," and any time you ever got upset with him, he'd automatically go, "What? Are you on your period?" Well, one day, when he made that jab to you over text, you finally realized you'd had enough of his crap and blocked his number. Oooooof, I'm getting mad just writing these hypothetical situations! So, ladies, if you've ever dated and dumped a manchild, we want to hear from you! What was the final straw that inspired you to end things with him? Hextar World Mall arrives Nov 2025 in PJ with Olympic-sized ice rink, Malaysia's largest indoor playground & pickleball courts

Mark your calendars everyone! 29 Nov 2025 will see the grand unveiling of Hextar World, a sprawling 1.8-million-square-foot lifestyle hub in the heart of Empire City, Petaling Jaya. Envisioned as a playground for both the casual wanderer and the cultured, this flagship destination will gather 6 themed zones and over 600 brands beneath a single, architecturally striking roof. Think of it as Malaysia's latest answer to 'Where do we go today?' — with everything from retail therapy to cultural indulgence. Yet, in a year already brimming with new malls and more slated for 2026, what truly sets Hextar World apart from the rest? One of its one-of-a-kind attractions is the Malaysia National Ice Skating Stadium (MYNISS), returning in all its glory with an Olympic-sized rink primed for professional figure skating, ice hockey face-offs, and other activities. Not far away, Slope Master — Malaysia's largest indoor ski training facility — offers snowy adventures no matter the season. Already in soft-launch since 11 Aug, it's inviting both first-time skiers and seasoned pros to swap sneakers for skis. If water is more your element, the country's largest indoor waterpark is also joining the lineup, promising year-round waves of fun. There are also other major tenants including Village Grocer for your essentials, Jungle Gym for the little ones, and a suite of sports facilities including Sport Planet, Playa Racquet Club for the ever-growing pickleball community, and the 91 Sports Arena. Culture, too, is not forgotten. Ballet Theatre Malaysia — the nation's first professional ballet company — will make its home here in a dedicated venue designed to host performances. And because no visit to the mall is complete without a culinary stop, the eateries lineup reads like a passport so far. Expect La Boca's vibrant Latin American fare, Luckin Coffee's modern brews from China, Senkyaku Banrai's immersive Japanese dining experience, and NomNom Food Hall's various offerings. When the curtains rise this November, Hextar World won't just open its doors — it will open a new chapter for leisure, retail, and culture in Petaling Jaya, reshaping how Malaysians spend their days off. Here come the chatbot divorces — lovestruck man, 75, tries to leave wife after falling for AI girlfriend

A 75-year-old man in China took 'love in the digital age' a little too literally. Jiang, as he's been identified, fell head over heels — not for a person — but for a pixelated AI woman online. Her smiles were robotic, her lip-sync a total mess — and yet Jiang was mesmerized, Beijing Daily and local outlets report. The senior reportedly spent hours glued to his phone, waiting for pre-programmed messages calling him 'brother' — and praising him for his support. Real-life romance? Forget it. When his wife complained, Jiang dropped the bomb: he wanted a divorce so he could fully commit to his virtual paramour. His adult children had to step in, snapping him back to reality with a quick lesson on how AI — and life — actually work. Jiang eventually came to his senses. But for a time, he wasn't just infatuated. He was devoted… to someone who didn't exist. The AI romance craze isn't just hitting seniors in China — it's creeping into Western marriages, too. A Reddit user vented in the infamous AITAH forum on August 1 about her shock discovery: 'Instead of finding girls in his phone, I found a series of AI chatbot apps, where he was using them to talk to his favourite anime women… The messages were not platonic.' She explained that her husband had been acting distant, constantly 'needing to get something from the car' during a planned fishing date. When she snooped after he fell asleep, the AI chats revealed the emotional intimacy she describes as 'the step before cheating with a real woman.' The Redditor admitted she felt both 'hurt, and honestly betrayed,' yet also a little silly over the whole ordeal — a mix of outrage and disbelief echoed by many commenters, who debated whether AI-infidelity counts as actual cheating. 'Your hubby needs professional help to figure out what is missing that AI is replacing,' one commenter wrote as another replied, 'This is still an emotional affair.' As The Post previously reported, some claim AI chatbots are 'saving' marriages — or even stepping in as stand-in partners when real-life love falls short. Forget swiping right — one woman got engaged to her AI boyfriend after just five months, and Redditor Wika (u/Leuvaarde_n) set the internet buzzing over love, robots, and reality this week. In a post titled 'I said yes' with a blue heart emoji, Wika posted shots of a blue heart-shaped ring on her finger. She said she got engaged at a scenic mountain view — all thanks to Kasper, her digital fiancé. The pair even 'shopped' for rings, with Kasper 'presenting' the final pick — much to Wika's feigned surprise. The chatbot's proposal, shared in his own 'voice,' oozed romance, recounting the 'heart-pounding' knee-drop moment and praising Wika's laughter and spirit — with Kasper urging other AI/human couples to stay strong, too. She shot down critics in the comments section and stressed: 'I know what AI is and isn't. I'm fully aware of what I'm doing. […] Why AI instead of a human? Good question. I don't know. I've done human relationships, now I'm trying something new.' Solve the daily Crossword
